Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes

Video of Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise at New York City Daycare

by Julie on August 20th, 2008

Update: X17Online is the only place where I see is saying that Suri is being dropped off at daycare. Other places are saying this was Chelsea Piers.

On Tuesday August 19th, Katie Holmes dropped off and picked up daughter Suri Cruise from a New York City daycare center. When Katie and Suri got out of the car, Suri waved at the paparazzi. So cute! Later that night when Katie picked up Suri, they were caught in a wind storm.

I love the reaction of the photogs when Suri waved, too funny. Day care is a nice idea for Suri. I can imagine her sitting on a chair playing teacher to other kids. Lots of personality in that little girl.

I’m not buying the whole daycare angle. Everyone knows Suri has more than one nanny. X17 is notorious for getting things wrong or making it up as they go along. BS I say!!

You may be right CR. They did say that Suri was going for tap dacing lessons when ideed the lessons were for Katie. But it would be nice if they took her to a day care.

Why would Suri need 2 nannies? Complete waste, one is enough.

The location is definitely Chelsea Piers.

Chelsea Piers has many activities for kids from ages 12 months to 5 years.
There’s also a toddler gym for ages 6 months to 4 years.

Probably because no one nanny could work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and with Kate and Tom’s schedules and last minute travels, they need someone all the time. Most professionals in this town have atleast two. One during the day and one for nights and weekends.

For anyone that has lived in a big city with many nannies around, it’s obvious why Suri needs two nannies. When high profile families have only one, she/he-nannny is often abused with insanely long hours. I really hope they do in fact have two nannies.

How does everyone know Suri has more than one nanny? I didn’t know that. I always see her with her parents and no nannies.
