Victoria Beckham to Design Costumes for Tom Cruise’s ‘Hardy Men’ Movie

There is lots of Tom Cruise news out today!

I just read over at PopCrunch that Tom Cruise has enlisted the help of friend Victoria Beckham to design the costumes on his film “Hardy Men“.

“ Tom approached Vicky during her birthday celebrations in LA on Sunday,” a tabloid spy says.

“Afterwards, he pulled her aside and asked if she’d like to be involved with costume consultation on Hardy Men….The idea is for her to have a series of meetings with the costume department.”

Tom’s offer could be the beginning of a big career boost for notorious fashion addict Victoria:

“If she agrees, Victoria will be given a name check in the end credits. It’s a hugely exciting opportunity and she blushed bright red when Tom asked her.”

“Hardy Men” is a comedy which Tom Cruise has asked Ben Stiller to star in. It’s a big screen adaptation of the classic children’s novels “The Hardy Boys“.

From what I’ve heard lately, Victoria could use a boost in the design world. If this works out, I wish the best for her!

    he is trying to worm his way back into her and david’s new ‘inner circle’ one that katie and tom have been excluded from of late

    I heard Victoria is already on clearance at a store in Receda.

    Yeah, he is trying to get back in her graces or he is the megalomanic that needs attention drawn to himself wherever he is. We have all seen them at parties…the one who when you comment about something always turn the conversation to themselves.

    Any way, WHO CARES?

    So tom is in charge of the wardrobe? I thought that this was a Ben Stiller movie and that tom had a part in. I did not realize that his part was wardrobe fitting. Well he DOES have a great sense of style about him. And when you reach a certain age you start making more moves and give direction from BEHIND the camera.

    Like Clint Eastwood. He still does roles every now and then but the majority of his time for that last several years is BEHIND the camera.

    I don’t think Victoria Beckham really has a great sense of style so I am not sure why she would be a great fit for this job. This is probably just another silly rumor that seems to swirl around in Hollywood.

    First, Tyler hysterical. That is exactly what I think this man is in. Seriously. Isn’t Nicole something like 11 years younger than Mimi and Katie around the same younger than Nicole?? Could be wrong–read it somewhere.
    Well it is TC’s movie company UA that is behind this movie correct? So I guess he can hire the costume ‘designer’ if he wants to. Does VB have any talent –wait I mean experience in outfitting an entire movie cast?? And does that matter at all?

    I think I have a great sense of humor, they look miserable, the costumes would be great for a tragedy, isn’t this a comedy? Maybe this is another move for TC to get a friend.
