Valkyrie Postponed
Tom Cruise’s World War II movie Valkyrie’s release date has been changed from June 27 to October 3, 2008 so the director can find a location for a pivotal scene in the movie. Originally it was going to be filmed in Germany but something changed and now they’re looking for a location in the US. I wonder what happened?
“We wrapped our production in Germany in October, but there was a desert sequence that needed to be prepped and the location finalized," explains UA spokesman Dennis Rice. "But with all the schedules and logistics we won’t be able to shoot that until the end of February. We wanted to do what’s right [in terms of marketing] and not put Bryan in a jam, so we said let’s postpone it.” Read the article here

Libra: Dying to hear your opinion on this!!!
Here is what I have read on the web about why it is postponed:
1) Kh is pregnant. Baby is due at that time.
2) Cruise doesn’t want to have to contend with Jolie this summer for ratings.
My theory: KH is running another marathon and will pull off what she did for the LIONS OF THE LAMB, or whatever it is called, showing in NY.
Maybe my geography is wrong, but there is no desert in Germany. So, what is up with that excuse?

Reread the article, they are trying to find a place for the desert scene. The real reason from the article link: “The October calendar is more crowded, but there are fewer films featuring actors of Cruise’s star power.”
It also mentions something about putting out then for consideration for the Awards season.
Bottom line: Cruise can’t handle competition from his equals.

heres the thing….if you still have important scenes to be shot, you DONT announce a release date. This has EVERYTHING to do with Jolies “Wanted” being bumped to that same release date. So now the losers have moved their release date because they cannot have competition like Jolies movie!

It is good to see her doing normal kid things with Suri, but honestly, a white frilly dress for painting or playing in. Such is the life of another rich and wasteful starlet. How much sillier can KH get? Proves my point that KH lacks common sense.

I agree with Battlemama. I live in Los Angeles, California and yesterday the rain came down HARD. You can tell in the picture that it rained as there are large puddles behind Katie and Suri. I think this little girl doesn’t like wearing coats or sweaters. And since she is talking now, she probably knows how to say “no mommie, no coat.”

while i agree that suri looks very pretty in her white dress, i’d love to see her dressed more weather-appropriately. for instance, a nice fitted raincoat and rubber boots are adorable on kids, and we know katie can afford them. same goes with head gear like toques and mittens.

I have to agree…….I don’t know of any other celeb family where the parents are all bundled up CONSTANTLY and the kid is in short sleeves and no shoes…….there are tons of photos like that of these weirdos.
And it’s true…Redstone may seem as mad as a hatter, but he must have had a crystal ball with regards to tc’s future as a box office money maker.
whatever, he got what he deserved, and continues to get what he deserves….FAILURE!!!!!

ON x170NLINE.COM, I think that Suri is wearing a frilly white dress because she is celebrating her own 2nd birthday. Who the F*** takes a kid paint something in a frilly dress, unless it’s at a party? Does anyone know any other 2 year old who sucks so religiously on a baby bottle, and drools on her blanket, at the age of two? Maybe there is something special about this kid. Maybe she has special needs. And her mommy looks like she is drunk in those pictures, too.

I suppose your body is perfect in everyway libra. Although i do have to agree with you (damn it) about the camel toe. He must have the smallest balls around to wear pants that far up his crack. (listen to me, i think im starting to be a bit over critical)
I also have to agree about not wanting to go against jolie. You would have to be crazy to think you could come out on top against her. It was very suspicous about the date change coming a few days after Wanted’s date change. Also i think suri looked adorable. Paint and all!!! And carla my daughter is 19 months and while she has cups during the day she wakes up during the night and has a bottle of milk. So i guess im as bad a mother as katie is.

I guess I am too about the bottle thing. Although, I wish we had the handler to carry the diaper bag!!
Suri is cute, but no more than any other kid.
Curious here: Why are they staying at a hotel in Beverly Hills when they live there? I mean Cruise could have jetted KH to Hawaii for her b’day, not just drove her down the street for a night. I wonder if they both “Lost that Loving Feeling?”

She has been pigeon toed since a tyke and looks like Suri may be also, but in those pics- wow- looks like KH could trip over her own foot, wonder if stuffing the feet in 4″ heels all the time has worsened the problem?
Yes, Suri seems to be getting cuter as she gets older. I think her finally getting a haircut was the difference- before, all we could see was the scraggly hair and not her cute face.
My theory on the Hotel- Birthday night celebration away from the live-in relatives. Geeze would that be annoying- I love my in-laws but if you told me as a ‘newly-wed’ that I would now be living full time with my mother-in-law, sisters-in law and nieces and nephew(s?) I would have said-”no, that’s a deal breaker”. unless…..maybe if someone waived hundreds of millions of dollars under my nose…mmmm, no. too perverted despite the $.
In the hotel pics- it actually looks like she does have some make-up on in attempt to cover the am circles. it looks like they both just work up, and again I think this is a photo op- “look, we just spent a romantic night in a hotel room, just the two of us, away from everyone, celebrating ‘Kate’s’ birthday”….R-i-i-i-i-i-ght! If this wasn’t a photo-op (read-see I’m not G-a-y), they would have snuck out the side/back door.

no candice. you’re not even half as bad. i’ve never seen suri drinking from a cup, night or day. i’m sure you’re a great mother. and if it was just one or two pics with the bottle, i wouldn’t say anything, but comeon, she’s drinking out of the bottle or carrying it in nearly ALL the pics, day and night!

Camel toe?! Oh, my God, too funny! And true! Tom Cruise has a bad case of camel toe! Definitely a ball-less wonder he is. Love the four-inch platform motorcycle like shoe/boots he’s got on. Trying to look like the tough Camel Toe that is he. Pussy! Does anybody notice that when these two weirdos are filmed together, that they’re together, but they’re really not “together.” Camel Toe (CT) - interesting, it’s the same initials but switched of TC. From now on TC will be CT. Anyway, CT is always leading Katie around with his vice-grip claw-like hand, and they are never “engaged.” She’s always looking down and trying to be demure, almost subservient. Who in the world to acquiesce to a man who has CAMEL TOE?! Man, these two just bring out the worst in me. I just can’t help it. I’m a meanie! Pass it on.

Also, in terms of KH selling out, she did so willingly and that speaks volumes for her character. (That is why I agree with that video of the real KH going for money, not love.) Others had the balls to tell Cruise “NO”.
Holmes will have to pay for her credit cards and travel. Unfortunately, Suri will too, which makes Holmes’ behavior even more dispicable. I will not be boo-hooing for KH when she is dumped like yesterday’s garbage and she looses custody of Suri. (I will cry for Suri though.) KH will get what she has earned for selling her soul!!!!!! As someone said before, she will have to earn all the money she is spending.
Unfortunately, none of it will buy her RESPECT and SELF-DIGNITY!!! Both which she is rapidly losing despite $100,000 spent at Nieman Marcus.
And the lunch thing, it was spin in on her buying lunch for the assistances. Desperate people throw “friend” around quite easily. It was like Suri having a tea party in NY for “friends.” What friends does a 2 year old have when she is locked in a hotel in Berlin with Mom and Dad and she is only visiting town for a weekend? They probably invited the kids staying at the hotel or local Scientos. and called them “Suri’s friends.”
Candice, Let babies nurse or have a bottle. By 18 months, if they are hungry enough they will wake up to eat. They won’t starve to death between dinner and breakfast.
Problem with that, though, is you are half asleep and not functioning!! LOL!! In order to preserve your sanity because we don’t have 3 nannies for one kid and several housekeepers, toss her a bottle of milk and brush her teeth in the morning. My bad parenting advice for the day–LOL!!

i dont think thats bad advice. its not what all the “experts” reckon but half of those dont have kids. I didnt have a choice about the bottle. I had to put her on one to get her off the breast. I wouldnt give her one at all (means i dont have to get out of bed :)) but she wakes up on her own 1-2 times a night. I honestly dont know what else to do other than clean her teeth as best as i can.

a camel toe is what guys use to refer to the form around groin area when women wear super super tight pants. use your imagination! i never said i saw it first! but after it being pointed out, i too noticed tom’s camel toe. that is not a deformity, and can easily be cured by wearing looser pants. but when a man has camel toe, makes me wonder………………:)

I read on foxnews.com in the past few days that Cruise is supposed to star in a new movie, not with MGM but with Columbia (?) Pictures. It is called something like “Harold Salt”. Anyway, the article was discussing how VALKYRIE was already over $90 million in production costs and that MGM is thinking this movie will bomb and not make the money it needs to recover costs.
The new movie Cruise is doing is being directed by a fellow Scientologist.
If any of you guys can find any more info about it, Great!!

candice, you sound very young. Experts are medical professionals and you DON’T have to have children to expertly determine the cause and effect of children who have bottles at night. Talk to your physician, put water in the bottle at night, and above all educate yourself!!!
