Tropic Thunder Website Now Open

The Tropic Thunder website is now open! At the website you will find some cool features including the Restricted Trailer, TV Spots, Wallpapers, Screensavers, Banners, Icons, etc.
As most of you know, Tom Cruise has a cameo in this movie. Pictures of him in a bald cap and fat suit were leaked, but were taken down pretty quickly. Although most of the main gossip sites were required to take the photo down, it is still floating around out there.
I can’t wait to see Tom play this role. From everything I have heard, he had audiences who have already screened the movie, rolling on the floor. I imagine this will be a role that will be remembered and talked about for a very long time.
I’m so looking forward to this movie!

I too are looking forward to this movie since we have no other Tom Cruise movie coming up till next year. That and the superb reviews.

BTW I saw the full trailer for this movie when I saw Iron Man…Paramount was showing their upcoming movies for 2008 and TT trailer got the most laughter and applause.
Generally I think Ben Stiller is one of the funniest guys around. He certainly is NOT afraid to try anything. Some of his movies I have totally loved and some I thought were a bit ‘out there’ LOL Not sure yet if I will go see this movie or not. If my friends all go, I may go with tho..
Tom Cruise is the biggest movie star in the world and Kate is so lucky to be married to him! I can’t wait to see his cameo in TOT! He thrills me to the bone!
LOL Sure. Tom is still the biggest movie star in the world… Hmm Johnny Depp’s last three outings of Pirates have made 100’s of millions of dollars. Tom’s last outing-oh yes Valkyrie still in production and delayed twice. I don’t mind the gushing-really-I get that but a little realism would be a ‘good’ thing. TC used to be one of the biggest movie stars of today. Like in his day, Robert Redford was the hottest thing in movies. Or Paul Newman. Or Burt Reynolds. Hollywood is the most fickle place in the world and fame is fleeting at best. That is why they should enjoy the ride while they are on the top of it, because can’t stay on top forever.
If we’re talking about realism then Will Smith is the biggest movie star in the world at the moment.
However according to the figures and facts from an article that came out recently, (check the link) Tom Cruise is still the safest actor in Hollywood.
Actors like Johnny Deep, Orlando Bloom, Samuel L Jackson do very well when the movies are franchise, like Pirates, Star Wars, Lords of the rings but it doesn’t mean they do the same with non-franchise movies.
