Congratulations Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes on the birth of your daughter Suri. I beg of you Tom, please don’t eat her;)
TomKat Welcomes Their TomKitten!
TOM CRUISE’s most important mission of all has been accomplished, the star’s reps confirmed to “The Insider” today. His fiancée KATIE HOLMES has given birth to a healthy baby girl! SURI, meaning “princess” in Hebrew, arrived weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces and is 20 inches long.
“Mother and daughter are doing well,” the couple announced via statement.
The super couple revealed Katie’s pregnancy back in October, and Tom later told “The Insider” on the set of ‘Mission: Impossible 3′ that he planned on being in the delivery room supporting her in every way possible. “I am going to be recording, holding hands — whatever it takes to make it comfortable, safe and as beautiful as possible (for her). I can’t wait.”
The groom-to-be also said that he and Katie were still on target to wed this summer or fall, and that the most important thing for their union was being surrounded by family: “I just want it to be a celebration of love and our relationship.”
The inseparable twosome started dating in April, 2005. Tom first called Katie out of the blue for a private meeting shortly after she broke off her five-year relationship with ‘American Pie’ star CHRIS KLEIN. They hit it off immediately and set out on a variety of romantic outings, coming out in public in front of the paparazzi while they were staying in Rome at the end of April. They were engaged in Paris last June.
This is the first baby for Katie. Tom has two other children, ISABELLA and CONNOR, both of whom he adopted with ex-wife NICOLE KIDMAN.

Well, Im glad for Katie that it’s a girl. I just think Tom would eventually take a boy away from her, cause this relationship is not going to last forever…and he wants his own blood child prodigy. A daughter will stay close to her. Dad’s just too weird.

Congratulations Tom and Katie! I bet the baby is beautiful, just as they both are. I get so tired of hearing all this negative talk about them, I just don’t get the obsession?? I think they are cute and obviosuly in love and I wish them all the happiness in the world! Hopefully, for their sake, people will eventually tire of them and let them live their life the way they chose!

Congrats to TomKat! Glad it’s a girl. For a minute a while before I never even thought Katie was pregnant. Now that I’m pregnant myself, I know looks can be decieving. I wish them both happiness on their new child
