TomKat Wedding Picture Thief Avoids Jail Time
The computer technician who, Marc Lewis Gittleman, who stole approximately 7000 shots from Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes‘ wedding and was involved in a plot to extort the couple for $1.3 million to avoid their early release has avoided prison time. An Italian court instead sentenced the man to two years probation and was given a $3000 fine.
He acquired the shots off of a damaged hard drive brought in to his shop for repair by a photographer who had been at the wedding. Gittleman then took then to an infamous porn peddler, David Hans Schmidt. Apparently it was Schmidt himself who ran the extortion scheme but he committed suicide in September two weeks before his court appearance.

Yes that was a nice thing bringing attention to this cause and I agree it was damage control. They are going to need it because this coming week is going to be the release of Mad Money AND the Morton book. So they have to have a plan for this week and next week in case the movie bombs and the book files off the shelves of Barnes and Noble.

I predict this week there will be a “nice” sighting of Suri and Katie looking angelic to COUNTER the negative image of the upcoming Morton book. Maybe a trip to the park or the Los Angeles zoo instead of another shopping; some really nice Mommy and Me pictures.
People love to see pictures of kids because they are the innocent parties in the equation and Katie and Tom know that. The number of press doubles when Suri is along.

bumblebeej posted the You Tube interview w/Matt Lauer. Watching the interview is shocking. It is clear that Tom is either himself mentally ill or under the influence of some “substance.” His mouth is dry, he’s talking in a very, very low tone, his eyes have dark circles around them. He’s actually quite scary in this interview, not intimidating, but scary. This interview was given during the early phase of TomKat. I can’t help but wonder, too, if he’s just really ticked off that he picked Katie Holmes as his “girlfriend.” Maybe he’s just in a bad mood. Regardless of the reason behind his rant, he’s scary and it definitely shows that this guy has a very definite MEAN STREAK. I would imagine living with him is hell on earth. $3 million a year?! There isn’t enough money in the universe for me or anybody I know who would put themselves into this life. He had a very cruel father he tells the public. I also understand that when you’re bullied and belittled as a child, you tend of bring those traits into your adult life. I have a feeling that the apple does not fall far from the tree. I would imagine he’s a very mean and controlling and brutal man behind closed doors. I also believe NOBODY really knows him. Scary!

They’re more pictures of Suri and Katie with a HOARD, AN ARMY, a CATTLE CALL of photographs putting their camera real close to Suri. In one of the shots, Suri looks like she is going to cry and Katie pats her in the back (like don’t cry). I think for Katie this is an ego thing because she know those phototgraphers are there for Suri and Suri is an extension of her. So whether its directly or indirectly for Katie, bottomline in her mind “they are taking our picture.”
But what lame excuse do you tell your child why these grown men are clicking away at you? I can’t imagine being this age and having to deal with this. And they could easily AVOID this by going through the kitchen entrance, underground tunnel (many businesses have them), or simply sending someone out with a list to buy things.

nguzman - I totally agree. I can’t imagine anything worse, being dogged by the picture-takers on a constant basis. It would make me not want to leave the house, truly. What is in these people that drives them to want this kind of life?! I would be wearing a constant disguse. I think these people have deep-seeded insecurity and are completely spiritually void where they need this constant attention. Most of us were brought up with some form of religion in our lives, and I find that all of us are on a constant quest to find the truth. I certainly haven’t forgotten the religion of my youth, and I also am on a constant quest to be spiritual. The thing that blows my mind is this need for TC to attach himself to some “organization” that touts THE ANSWER. What I have come to learn in my years that GOD is not an “organization” and definitely you won’t find GOD in a “cult,” i.e., Scientology. Every time he opens his mouth about Scientology, he just sounds so EMPTY. Have any of us EVER heard anything substantive what Scientology has done for him?! NO. He claims he makes him a better person. Well, what does that mean?! I think Tom Cruise is just an extremely simple-minded person, has no depth, no compassion. I would imagine living with him would be horrific. I hope it’s worth the $3 million, because Katie is REALLY earning every last penny. She may find that she’s paying with her soul.

That Matt Lauer interview was the first time I ever had the thought that Tom Cruise was truly horrifying. His behavior was absolutely appalling.

he didn’t commit suicide, he was murdered by $cientologists. Apparently he was too tall to have successfully hung himself from where he was found.
he was killed, just like those two artists last year that had been harrassed by the COS for YEARS, they too “commited suicide” even though friends and associates said NO WAY would they have ever done that, and they were very vocal about the COS harrassing them
