TomKat, Suri and Connor’s Fourth of July Celebration
What an awesome July 4th present! TomKat pictures!!! I hope all of you had a great holiday.
Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise and Connor Cruise all spent the 4th of July in Telluride, Colorado. Suri wore an American Flag headband and Tom is looking mighty handsome in his cowboy hat.
As the pair walked around, Katie had her arm around Tom’s waist. Very cute. Katie also said ‘Happy 4th of July‘ to the photographers before Tom drove away in their SUV.
Suri is either really tired, annoyed with that headband or just overwhelmed by the crowd and photographers. She’s still SO cute! I wonder if she was able to see any fireworks that night. I imagine they would have been a little loud for her taste.
It looks like the Cruise family had a wonderful time together. It’s nice to see them out and about.

Suri, sure looks like she’s annoyed with the headband…in the photos at JJ, she does take them off. :) And it looks like she just finished eating chocolate ice cream (Connor is holding the cup).
TC is looking mighty fine indeed. I like his jeans.
Katie looks pretty and I love her smile, and Connor is very handsome, as always.

This site was so much more entertaining when you allowed people to state the obvious, what a strange couple they are. Beautiful little girl, though, Suri! And Connor is absolutely adoreable too!! Katie just looks like the lights have been completely turned off. She is but a shell of who she once was. It’s very sad and disturbing. I am sure you won’t post this, but I just wanted to say what I know many of those who once visited this site are thinking too.

Ok…. I have NEVER thought that Tom was hot even back in his hey day…..but DANG……he looks HOT baby….HOT!!! I love his choice of jeans in this photo…..they are more loose and boot legged at the bottom and look relaxed and well worn which is sexy!! I HATE when he wears those straight legged dark blue tight jeans that we usually see him in…..that look is so lame. Suri looks incredibly beautiful….she looks more and more mature each passing month…..its amazing how she is sprouting up so quickly!!! I love her headband….she looks so festive. Conner looks great as well. Katie, who I love, looks bland. I do not understand why she choose that clothing ensemble. I would have liked to see her in something more festive, perhaps a colorful tee with a cute mini. Its the 4th after all and she is sporting a black jacket???? Huh???? tC’s cowboy hat was an excellent choice….very AMERICANA and very sexy….Katie needed a stylist on the 4th to make a better photo op with the family….she looks like she doesnt belong with the other three…..she needs to relax her style a bit.

I will state again, I have never seen a picture that Suri has a smile on her face, always a frawn or hatefule look? Is there something wrong with this child??? And is there some realson she is still in “Diapers”!!!! she is 2 years old, it really time to Potty Train the child and get her out of Diapers and chuck the Baby Bottle, or she will be starting school with iit in her mouth and katie dolding her every step. Can she walk on her own????
Most parent want their child to develope and grwon, not remain a infant with infant traits. Maybe suri should have real time interacting with real child her age and develope the quality social skill whic we learn in life, not that the worl revolves around her and herlife.!!!! Or that of her parents!!!

I love it when Katie goes out with very little makeup and I love it more that in one of the above pics (and in others that I’ve seen) Katie is caressing her husband’s back as they walk together. There is that signature Katie smile/smirk in many of the pics……….Lovely!
What is sad and disturbing is that no matter what Tom and Katie do, there are always criticized but what is beautiful about them is even with all the criticism they don’t seem to let it affect them and are getting on with their lives.
I realize it must be difficult for some who predicted and are still waiting for that split that was said to be such a sure thing and this couple wouldn’t last past the summer of 2005.

Love these pics, saw them earlier. I did see the one wear Suri takes the band off, she did seem upset with it. I think most kids her age tend to yank anything off their head, including hair bands/ties/ribbons/etc.
On the way Katie looks. I worry for her, she seems so tired. This is not making fun of her, but I remember they went really quiet before they announced pregnancy before with suri and they’ve done it again. Katie looks like she’s been sick, I know she was losing weight a lot. Hope all is okay. Where’s Isabella?

Katie does look very different. Hope she’s okay. Tom is such a wired personality that it can’t be easy keeping up with him. In the beginning of a relationship the adrenaline probably kept her going, but by all accounts that’s not who she is. She’s a laid back person and constantly go-go-going has to take a toll. I speak from experience on this one.

I hope Katie is okay because her play “All My Sons” is coming up and anyone that’s done a Broadway show will tell you that its grueling.
Even Brooke Shields said in her advice to Katie that it will require a lot of energy and she will
need to be in the best physical shape possible.
They seriously need to trim Suri’s bangs because
they don’t look good on her face. She is a beautiful child though.

Between Cruise or Katie, I think Suri listens more
to Cruise. Had Katie been holding Suri and she would have removed the headband, I doubt she would have kept the headband on. I think Cruise
whispered something to Suri and she kept the headband on her head. Now all he has to do is
whisper in her ear that its time to let Dada hire

I know this is going to sound off the wall but
lately Suri has been looking “unkempt.”
Something changed in her physical appearance (how they dressed & combed and cut her hair) and I think TOMKAT need to go back to making her look cute and adorable if they want to stay
interesting to the press.
Why do I say this? Let’s face it, Cruise was a big star in the 80’s and 90’s and lately both him and Katie have had setbacks in their careers. Last year around mid 2007 the press started taking a lot of pictures of Suri and Katie and Suri became a big hit with the celebrity blogs and rags. There were rags that said Suri saved
Cruise (meaning she helped keep him in the gossip columsn etc). Well the one thing that they had going (was Suri and her cuteness) is now being allowed to look shabby in public. Not a good idea when you have several projects coming up: All My Sons, Valkire, and the cameo appearance in Ben Stiller’s movie. I mean if
Suri starts looking ordinary she will not draw the
attention from the press like she did in 2007.

Suri is a small girl and not a celebrity by choice. Perhaps letting her be a kid (and that means hair being messy and looking grumpy and all those normal kid things) is the best thing these two have done! Not drawing attention from the press can only be a blessing for that little girl.

I agree that Katie has looked tired lately. It may be just because she doesn’t wear much makeup. When I don’t have makeup on I get asked if I am sick. That always makes me feel good, lol.

Hi Julie I agree, but makes one wonder with all the talks she wants another. As for those wondering it isn’t uncommon for a toddler to still be in diapers, I had a few of mine in them until right before they were three. Granted my 1 year old is already trying now. The bottle, thankfully I never dealt with.

You’re so right. We assume these people always look like they do on the red carpet, forgetting that it takes hours of preparation. Yet, Katie doesn’t seem to care anymore. Either she’s more comfortable in her own skin these days, or she’s worn out. Maybe it’s a little of both.

I am sure she is compoletely worn out, keeping up the facade. Think how difficult real relationships are. Then throw in the stresses of being public, constantly looking good, being wife #3 (when his first two wives were stunning). Katie is a total cutie in her own right, definitely, but also not the natural beauty Nicole is. These two would have never stayed together but for Suri having come along. Still the vast majority of the public doesn’t believe this union, and also the vast majority of the public still sees Tom as a control freak and not right for Katie. Nobody can argue that Katie has not changed. She most definitely has. Totally subdued and older beyond her years. When she finally leaves this behind her, we will see the old personality emerge, energetic and fun-loving. She looks like a 40-something soccer mom. Not that there is anything wrong with a 40-something soccer mom. Just that she’s far from 40 in real life. I also think that with the stresses of both of their careers off the tracks, they are probably both blaming the other secretly for their failing careers. Katie, the world loves you. We just want you to reclaim your life back.

I think Katie separates her life on the Red carpet and Hollywood functions and her life with her family……………….One requires her to be all glammed up and the other allows her to be natural and unaffected.
I happen to think that she’s more comfortable in her own skin, who she is and who she’s with.
I also think at this point she and TC realize that they’ll be critcized for whatever they do but life goes on.

hi guys, can’t keep away…..sorry snowflake325 you have a look at nk and kh at the age of 18 and nk is not anatural beauty by a long shot it’s actually the other way round. nk works hard at making herself look good, but considering the profession she’s in that’s a good thing. katies hair is letting her down. short hair like that does’nt suit her at all , it makes her look older, katie needs length in the front, look back on the videos of her in france at j packers wedding , or at the lions for lambs premier in germany, at that award night for tom in new york, last year at the welcome to america d beckam soccer game , with suri at tiergarten park on et , it’s when katie started going shorter and shorter with her hair that’s when she started looking different , look at her at the pucci gala thing with madonna, she had a longer version of the bob , and we all commented how lovely she looked, so i wish the people who love her would wisper in her ear to grow her hair again , and we’ll see the the real katie again.

Mary, don’t be shocked, but I’m actually going to agree with you that she doesn’t feel the need to please anymore, but just as the media criticizes J Lo’s husband for the dark bags and unhealthy look, so they will Katie. On the bright side, she and Tom look the same age now.

Suri is TOO young to potty train with the life style that tc leads. They are not in one spot long enough for her to learn what a “potty” is. And as much as they do travel, they can’t risk getting out on the tarmac for take off and Suri saying “go potty now” and then telling her “No, You will have to WAIT”.
When she is ready, she will be out of diapers. And if you think about it, the parents/adults can’t make her keep a hair clip in, what makes anyone think they can get her to go on the “big girl potty”?
(FYI, neither conner or bella are still in diapers, hehe)

i think tom looks best casual, in loose jeans and a t-shirt. somehow, the whole knit vest or formal three-piece doesn’t flatter him (IMO). way to go, tom! you should dress like this ALL THE TIME! and it actually takes years off him.
katie, on the other hand, as so many people have already pointed out, looks exhausted. dark colours, gaunt. i think katie was very pretty before with her long hair. it wasn’t just the hair though, b/c she looked healthier then too with more meat on her. she just looks unhealthy, like she’s dieting by starving. could be the stress of the play coming up. could also just be ageing genes, b/c women do age differently.
as for suri, someone pointed out that she hardly smiles. true, but suri also has a natural frown. don’t think her lips resemble either tom’s nor katie’s. i like the way suri’s dressed here; she looks comfortably dressed, the way i know kids like to be.

Susan, I totally agree with you about letting Suri be a little girl. I concur that she doesn’t always look like she “stepped out of a salon” but I (and maybe others?) so often forget that she’s a 2 year old little girl, and when you’re 2, it’s basically your job to be a little kid. I’d say check out any family that has a 2 yr old little girl and you’ll find exactly the same thing - a kid being a kid. My thoughts often go to the side of “the parents should be parents, and care for her grooming” but I caution myself against these thoughts, because 2-yr olds have strong personalities and no matter how hard you try, you can’t “make them look perfect, act perfect” nor should you! ;) I remember stories my mom’s told me of when I was around 2 or 3 and she was trying to cut my hair, and I was having NO PART in it!! She said I squirmed and squirmed, making it difficult to cut, so she just let if go wild for a bit. (I didn’t have much noticible hair til I was 2, so definitely nothing like Suri’s, but I was apparently a very strong willed girl, and am pretty much to this day!!)
re: Suri fan - Suri should in no way be held responsible for the decline or success of her parent’s careers/projects or even used to bolster these projects. As I said above, her main priority right now should be just being a kid! Tom & Katie are in a bit of a lose/lose situation I think - if they take Suri out places, they get called “media hounds” and disected at every outing, and yet if they protect Suri to the point of no one (media, fans, etc) seeing a photo of her; the tv and mags go crazy with “Where’s Suri Hiding?” headlines.
I can’t say T&K are 100% innocent here, after all, show business & publicity are a game you have to play, but I would totally hate to think of Suri being used as a “publicity tool”. While I’m more of a Katie fan than Tom, I think they both show a lot of love for her (for all 3 children) and family is definitely a priority with this group!
I think it was Jenna who mentioned Katie wearing a black coat on July 4th, I’m not sure I understood the comment (whether it be “why isn’t she wearing more patriotic colors?” or “why is she wearing a coat in the summer?”) so I will make mention of the latter. Katie does have health problems for which she takes medicine (this is not breaking news, she herself has mentioned this in interviews, so I do not feel I am breaking any confidences here), one of the side effects being that she tends to be colder than normal. It’s one of the reasons she’s seen in a lot of summer pics with warmer clothes on. It also leads to her getting more tired than the normal girl, but I’ve never seen it stop her from anything she puts her mind to! :)

I’ve actually seen several pics of Suri smiling - the wedding they went to in France, there are a ton of smiley pics there. I often think that the smiling pictures aren’t released/used because they do not fit into the over-all image the media is trying to portray of the family being unhappy. (I also think that’s the normal shape of her mouth, so the pics often look sad even if they’re not.) Suri at the Galaxy games are more great examples of her smiling/giggling. :)

There are a lot of pictures looking animated and smiling but that was last year in 2007. This year the smile came off her face.
And yes they have used Suri for publicity purposes. Did you forget the Mad Money trek to

Mary, iwas really happy for tom and katie when they got together, and i could never figure out why people used to say all these negative things about them, but sometimes katie is easier to read than tom, maybe it’s because she’s not as experienced, or she seems to have this vunerability about her ,i don’t know what it .i like tom, but for me , he’s hard to figure out, so when andrew mortons book came out, and said things obout his relationships, and especially about katie , and the way morton ,named his sources, i think i felt a little bit disappointed in that its made very obvious to katie, that maybe one day, she’s going to get dumped, and that list of names, and you begin to think , that , well i don’t know this person , and maybe you start questioning , but if someone was to say , as has been said, that katie wanted fame and fortune, ican tell you for sure ,that i don’t believe it, because a gold digger would have done it all differently, but with tom you don’t really know. i hope what you say is true,and they have a very very loving life together, i really do.

Regards to Katie, I think she has the type of eyes where it shows when she doesn’t get a good night sleep. Most people do have puffy and tired eyes and it shows but thanks to makeup they do cover that up.
I’ve a friend whose eyes becomes so puffy and dark circles around her eyes appears when she doesn’t sleep at least 8 hours a day, and she is always wearing makeup to cover that up. Whereas Cruise is very lucky and can go on with no sleep for 48 hours and his face is fresh.

I think its pathetic how people discuss their relationship like if they personally know them. I respect that they are a married couple and what goes on behind close doors is none of my business. I follow Katie because I like her fashion (sometimes). I don’t think Suri is used for getting more attention. They just happened to actually raise her instead of a nanny. And the paparazzi is always after them.

Katie……I was referring to both….she was not dressed as festive as she should have been….I would have liked to have seen her in a more summery outfit. TC looked great and Suri’s dress with its tan and white plaid pulled out the same color as in TC’s cowboy hat. Conner looked relaxed and fun in his picnic wear. Katie just looked blah….a black coat and long jeans on the 4th??? She is too beautiful to dress in such a boring outfit on such a summery day. And as far as an illness….. I have never heard her disclose what that illness was…..where has she announced such a health problem???

WHY does katie keep chopping her hair? I think she cuts it once a week! I really really really don’t understand.. maybe she wants to appear unappealing so the press will leave her alone or something. When she first chopped it i was like whoa ok but then it was cute, but she kept going and going and going and now it looks ridiculous.. i don’t understand why she wants to appear 45 when she is not even 30! Long hair definitely suits her….. grr..

I’ve never been one to think tom was cute at all, maybe it’s bc he’s not wearing those gay looking tight dark jeans, but he looks ADORABLE here! Katie needs to stay away from the scissors and get SOME MAKEUP! did she run out of money for makeup? I know that no celebrity should want to look red carpety for daily life, but come on, a 5 minute makeup job is something everybody can do! and needs to.. my word! Dont’ get me wrong, i LOVE the cruises.. still overly obsessed with dawson’s creek.. i just dont’ like when she looks like that, she looks sickly. I’d also wish we could see a picture of her laughing.. i don’t think i’ve seen her laugh in a picture since before tom.. strange

Is Katie pregnant? Please look carefully at the photo of Katie on July 4th especially when her belly is more exposed. Does that explain why she always wear coat? In one of the photo, knowing the belly was exposed, Katie tried to cover it with her coat.

lookia…..great suri site/link! ya know after seeing more of those 4th pics on that Italian site lookia shared, I have to agree with some other posters in that Katie does indeed look really pale….I did not notice until I saw high resolution pics on that Italian site…..sadly, she looks unwell. Last year at this time she was so tan and glowing at Packer’s wedding, and while in France……I hate to say it, but she looks so anemic.

Nicole’s beauty is not my kind of beauty, I find Katie a whole some beauty. I hope she takes it easy on all the theatre stress coming up. Thanks looika for the site. Great pictures. She may look pregnant but I doubt she is. Her play is till Jan and she cannot act when she is over 7 months pregnant. She would have to pull out. I would be gutted if she did because I am pulling strings to make it in December or around that time to watch her.

What you are facing is the dilemma most fans have faced for the last three and a half years. What to believe and what not to believe. After a while you will find most of these stories are very ridiculous even though they seem authentic at the first read. When you know Tom and Katie better from their interviews, you start understanding how most of the stories are lies upon lies.
They want to get to you and they will if you let them. Why do you think they visit this site every day to criticise this couple from their clothes to their hair? What kind of people have that time and energy? People who want to get to you. That is why most fans stick to specific fan sites.
There are thousands of fans on the fan sites who never post any where else. They want an update of Tom and Katie and not fabricated stories, innuendo and criticism. They are not in this to defend Tom and Katie but to celebrate them as fans do. Just don’t let them get to you. Take everything with a grain of salt.

Annie you can always go to Katieholmes.com for lots of pictures. The atmosphere is fantastic and you will meet over a thousand fans. You will also get the truth, mostly positive stuff but atleast there are no lies.
Katie play’s tickets went on sale on the 5th of this month. Unfortunately some one had already written an article in NY post that they were not selling. This is not only malicious, but also untrue, biased and intended to sabotage the sales.

HOW TRUE! For example when tc was on “O”. His words were so, so, well, they were SO tom.
You really got to see that certain side of him. And “O” did not go after him and ask him to clarify. That really helped him too.
So try to put their stories together AFTER they interview, yep! lies upon lies.

LOL Tyler. yes that ‘calm tone’ comes thru in every post. And note, that everything negative is ‘lies upon lies’ LOL Given the recent pictures of Suri with her bangs in her face and past her little cute nose, and I believe there is one over at Italia that shows what looks like a very mad daddy look with her. What in the world is going on with just some normal grooming of that little girl. I don’t think anyone can argue that there is a VAST difference in how this child is looking today compared to just say 3-4 months ago when she was always well groomed, neat hair and designer clothes. I could care less about the clothes but that hair in the face is ridiculous on any scale. If I had a friend that was out and about with their kid looking like that, I would tell them to do something or I might even hand them a little barrette. Cheap answer to a rather annoying problem.
BTW-Tom is actually dressed well and looking good in these pics except for the mad moment with Suri. That look was rather mean looking and that minder lady behind him seemed ready to jump in on the deal- while Katie just looks on-rather scary blank stare. Tom is definitely in control of all he surveys.

But I wonder if Tom and Katie are trying to wean Suri away from her bottles and blankets, now that she is getting a little bit out of the baby stage? Maybe Suri isn’t smiling because she doesn’t like that? Just a thought…

The child’s homeschooled and may not be used to much social interaction. She looks very uncomfortable around people, and not just the paps.

I read in a mag article awhile back that Katie already had tutors to teach Suri her numbers, letters, drawing, etc.
Even with dance, Suri is too young. Most kids don’t have the coordination for dancing until they are closer to four or five.

I think Tom and Katie are trying their best to allow their two year old to be a two year old.
I also think the mags/tabloids and bloggers have all sorts of stories related to Suri, one more creative than the next.
She’s a child…………….Let her be. They grow up fast enough as it is.

“Allowing” her is the operative here. Either he’s totally oblivious to the fact that the headband’s bothering her, or he doesn’t care cause it makes for a nice photo op. She seems totally preoccupied with the headband. Think about it. She won’t allow them to put a barette in her hair, which they have no problem with, yet they stick that thing on her head.

She cannot walk when there are those paps there. Besides, they were leaving and Suri is clearly sleepy. Her dislike for the band vindicates those hwo argue that may she does not like Barrettes. That band was unique, kids make allowances for such things for a while. Later she removes it. As Mary points out her parents do not force it back on the her. Let’s drop the magnifying glasses.
Tabloids say many things, most are untrue.

Annie, yes a short time, but clearly enough time to see that Suri is bothered by people (and not just by the paps), especially when a group started singing Happy Birthday, as well as by that headband they stuck on her head. When she hears people sing, she clutches her head much like she did when the national anthem played at the soccer game Julie posted a while back. The movie star just keeps smiling for the cameras, always “on.”

honestly guys , i think some us here,has a huge problem, i really do. i saw a 2yr old little girl playing with her headband, fidgeting with it, taking it on and off, swaying it around, she was’nt crying or whinging,even though she looked a little bit tired, we know she had icecream, even though we did’nt see her eat it, so it makes me think , that they were there for a while , before being spotted by the papps, once the cruises saw the papps the started heading for home and thats , i think, when the video and the pictures were taken. i find the expression on connors face interesting, its like” oh my god ,the papps are here”. when you guys show me a picture Shilo smiling and interacting with her parents and acting normal ‘ or seeing her older sister Z actually walk and smile even though she must be close to 4 , then you might be on to something . i feel sorry for this gorgeous little girl, i feel sorry for her mummy as well, in that people can say any horrible thing they want.

I totally agree with you, infact you just wrote what I was about to say. I have never seen Shiloh with an expression on her face. Even pictures taken with long lense cameras. If you want a child to worry about, then worry about her. Even Kingston Rossdale rarely smiled till recently. Give the girl a break, she is only two.
From the video, clearly the Cruise family had been there for sometime enjoying the celebrations before the paps arrived. During that time, we don’t know how Suri was behaving, a recount from another blog of someone who was there says that Suri was running and singing and Connor kept chasing her.
Again, as usual people are reading too much into everything trying to look for fault. If Suri was smiling and blowing kisses, the same people would say she is used for PR like they did.

Regarding Shiloh and Suri, I’m actually kind of worried about *both* girls, but Suri more so because we actually see more of her, and because Shiloh has always been sort of sad-looking. I’ve also never seen video of Shiloh, but lots of video of Suri. It seems to me that the change in Suri has primarily been in the last couple of months.
Please don’t misunderstand, everyone — I **love** Suri and think she’s absolutely beautiful and adorable, but with an autistic child who changed LITERALLY overnight from a bright, alert, smiling, happy kid to a somber, blank child who twisted and played with his fingers, covered his ears at sounds when no one else, including other children, did; became attached to unusual objects (a videotape, a coat hanger — in Suri’s case, she spent all of a day holding onto and playing with a single shoe) and stopped looking in people’s faces…it’s concerning, that’s all, and I truly hope her parents are paying attention so that IF she needs help, she will get it. It’s not a commentary on what kind of human being she is or how lovable she is. With this happening to more than 1 in 150 children (actually, as high as 1 in 50 in some big city areas), it doesn’t discriminate . If it could happen to the children of other celebrities (Sylvester Stallone, Gary Cole, Jenny McCarthy, Holly Robinson-Peete), it could also happen to our sweet little Suri or little Shiloh too.
Instead of getting defensive, why not hope that she gets whatever she needs, IF she needs it?

dahlia, I understand your concern. You would have the same concern about my child, or a child you saw at a store. It takes a very loving person that loves all mankind to notice behavioral changes. I have seen pics of Shiloh eating out of a bag of chips and sharing them with her sister. And I wonder if the sad look on Shi’s face is the shape of her mouth. She maybe withdrawn the last few months with the talk of new siblings.
As for suri, could it be possible that her overnight change has to do with the break that she is forced to do from her mother? Or could it possibly be a reaction from a food allergy?
I agree, she has become more sedate and non focused lately.

Guys let’s not do pop-dignosis of real kids here. We never ever see these children in their home environment. By definition we who do not know these people can only see them through the lenses of the invasive papz. My children would not look like the lively lovely kids they are if surrounded by people shouting their names and pointing cameras at them. I worry that this experience in fact will harm their development and their understanding of the world, but I don’t think we can diagnose anything as serious as autism by looking at photos/ video of kids we don’t ever get to sit down with and spend time with.

Take a look at pictures and video of TC with his kids not only now with Suri but with Bella and Conor as babies as well and older now. You’ll see that those children get plenty of hugs and TLC!

I’m not doing “pop diagnoses”. No one made any kind of diagnosis at all. If this were some isolated series of pictures, or an isolated video, I would simply think this child was just tired, or maybe coming down with a cold. HOWEVER, having had 10 years of experience working with my own child and with scores of other children on the spectrum, and based on *hundreds* of pictures and videos published over the last couple of months, compared with hundreds published last year and the year before, I can tell you with 99.9 % certainty that I detect a problem of SOME kind — and my opinion isn’t an isolated one, either. There are other professionals in the field — more experienced than me, in fact — who have made this observation.
What NO ONE can tell, based on pictures and video alone, is exactly WHAT the problem is. That can only be done through a professional evaluation.

dahlia, I’m sure you know how tom’s “church” feels about any kind of mental disorders. Anyone that is affiliated with the “church” does not get the use of modern medicines. I do not know how something like Autism would be handled. It is rumored that Jet Travolta has it but is not treated for it.
I know Jenny McCarthy has done MAJOR research and is a huge advocate for Autism. She has said that being tested for food allergies and adjusting the diet if needed can really help.
I wonder what a diet of nothing but milk, water, barley, honey and corn syrup will do as far as brain development during the first two years of life? If you are allergic to wheat, barley can be just as harmful.
I understand and realize that you are NOT and did NOT diagnose Suri.
It is something that is close to your heart and on your mind.

Seriously Mary? Are you looking at the same videos I looked at?? The 4th of July videos don’t have one smile from Suri. I don’t care about the ice cream on her little face or the headband thing which is clearly just something bought that day like my grandson suckers me into at any event.. Katie does try to interact with her but Tom turns away and he for sure is not hugging or interacting with her. At one point he looks pissed off with her.
Connor however stays on the sideline and out of the fray. It was a cool picture of him and his dad at the airport. He is finally doing the sunglasses thing too. I think he is going to be taller than dad. He is growing up fast..

Yes, I’ve seen that video and different ones from the one posted here and nowhere do I see Tom as pissed off with Suri.
Suri looks tired and sleepy but what child wouldn’t after a parade and what someone posted here, running around and being chased by her big brother.
I am completely shocked by all the talk of mental disorders, autism and the like on a two year old child whom I don’t think any of you have ever met or seen in person.

I so agree with you, Mary! There is absolutely no way that we can know if Suri has any developmental delay, or any disability-just as we cannot possibly know if they get plenty of hugs and tlc. We have to remember here-we do not know these people. we have seen them in photographs that they either chose to release to the public, or that were taken against their will. I understand that Dahlia is very close to the issue of autism. I have taught young children with autism myself. I find it hard to believe that any professional would dare to make such a statement without seeing the child. In teaching, we talk about developmental delays-we do not even say the word autism until there has been a formal diagnosis! Autism is a medical condition, and can only be diagnosed by a professional in that field. I think if you have heard any hollywood doctors making statments about celebrity children, you should realize that is gossip just like all the rest. it’s fun to look at pretty babies-but I would never think for one minute that I know these people!

This is so sad. That people who pretend they like Katie and Suri are now saying they think Suri has mental disorders. What kind of sadness drives people to turn out like this? To speculate about them mental state of a perfectly healthy child is sick sick sick.
What makes me even sadder is that you can read in their posts between the lines that they would be happy if Suri had a mental disorder.

I just wanted to add that there are new photos of the Cruise group along with Suri showing up from a recent trip to a studio where it is reported that Katie will make an appearance on the show, Eli Stone. In the photos Suri is wearing a cute dress with her bangs trimmed. So all the speculation can stop about her hair. I wonder if they were attempting to grow it out but cut the bangs anyway because they got tired of reading or hearing the criticism about her hair always being in her face and the implication that it is because they don’t take care of her or that something is wrong with her? Makes me wonder anyway.

I saw those pics and I think they probably got tired of waiting for the bangs to grow out and I don’t think Suri likes clips/headband on her hair, so they might have gave up because of that. They can try again when she is a little older.
I highly doubt they read blogs like this one.

I doubt that the Cruise’s read blogs like this one too. But there is more than one place to read or hear about things written or said about yourself. So perhaps the criticism did get back to them and they decided to give up on growing out the hair? Who knows for sure?
