According to All Headline News some record executives were at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding and when they heard Tom recreate the scene from Top Gun and sing "You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling" to his bride they offered him a record deal!
So would you buy Tom’s CD if he came out with one? If Katie sings on it I’d have to buy it because I LOVE her voice! Remember the episode of Dawson’s Creek where Katie’s character entered the beauty contest and sang "On My Own"? She has a gorgeous voice!

The "Top Gun" actor, who married Katie Holmes in Italy recently, has reportedly been offered an exclusive recording contract after he serenaded his new bride at their wedding reception.
Cruise sang the love ballad "You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling" to his new bride and it is reported to have caught the attention of music executives celebrating the nuptials with the newly weds.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, Cruise and Holmes have been approached to record a duet of the song, the same tune the megastar sang in "Top Gun".
A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, "Tom’s got a great voice. And he loves that song ever since his Top Gun character Maverick sang it to woo his love interest Kelly McGillis."
Holmes, who began her acting career on TV’s "Dawson’s Creek", has sung previously on film in "The Singing Detective".
However, the only hurdle for the executives is Cruises’ dedication to controversial religion Scientology.
According to reports they are concerned that a lucrative recording contract could see much of the money donated to the church.
The source adds, "Music chiefs know it would be a massive hit so they don’t want to lose all the money to a bizarre religious following. And record labels are reluctant to be associated with the strange faith."
The superstar, however, is said to be eager to conquer the music industry.
The insider claims, "Tom is adamant. He said the song is a symbol of their love and Scientology is a basis for their companionship."
The couple married in a lavish, over the top, ceremony in Italy on November 18.
