TomKat Heading to Berlin
TomKat will be heading to Berlin so Tom can begin filming his new movie Valkyrie. Just cast was his wife in the film played by Carice van Houten:
Bryan Singer likes Paul Verhoeven’s casting decisions so much, he’s decided to take a cue from the director and cast Black Book’s Carice van Houten in his own movie. According to Nu, the German actress will be appearing alongside Tom Cruise in Valkyrie.
The film revolves around a German general’s plan to snuff out Adolph Hitler at the height of World War II. Apparently, it is based on fact. Just like the film Surf’s Up was.
Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Patrick Wilson, Stephen Fry and Tom Wilkinson also star in Valkyrie. The film will begin shooting this July in Berlin. Look for it to hit theaters sometime in 2008.

despite this boasting in my mind,what appears to be a great cast…i can’t wait for tomkat to hit germany…they HATE scientology….the midget control freak cult follower is going to get a big dose of reality outta this trip!!! haha…can’t wait…

Wow, am so looking forward to this movie. To all movies Tom is doing this year and next year. It feels like we have not had a movie in long long time. Don’t know much about Carice but she seems like an acclaimed actress. I am so Jealous of those fans in Germany. At least we had him in the UK during the filming of Eyes wide shut.

I have seen pistures of Tom in Berlin scouting locations with the director. I hope we get to see Suri and Katie.

Isn’t it so perfect that one of Hitler’s relatives, Tom Cruise, would be playing a character who works to snuff out Hitler?

i don’t see any reason to be jealous of the three fans in germany…i see more reason to be concerned for the security team assigned to tomkat during the filming…the germans HATE his cult…just ask travolta…

Leah, I think we are going to be seeing more pictures of them and am too excited. We have not seen a lot of them for a while.
