I’m trying to catch up on some pictures, so I’ll be posting some from a few weeks ago. Here are pictures of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes arriving at the First Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon on February 21, 2008.
They both look stunning in these pictures. I like the accents with the purple tie and vest that Tom Cruise is wearing. I also like Katie’s wavy hair. Very pretty. There’s a lovely picture of TomKat with Will and Jada below the cut.

Katie has definately had modeling lessons. She has that fashion model stance. She still bends her knees so she doesn’t tower of Cruise, though.
I don’t like the clothes, but I do like the loose wavy hair.
She has really aged in the last two years. She is not the carefree young woman who was dating TC. Wonder if it is from age or just life in general.

Looks like she had more cometic surgery on the tip of her nose. She used to have wide, chubby nostrils, just like Suri. Now she has an up-lift on her nose tip. Sort of like what Michael jackson has, or I should say, had. The bridge of her nose is also more defined. I guess there’s cosmetic surgery in Suri’s future too.

kay…yes, they sometimes do but it can take awhile. At least that used to be true. I don’t really know now with the new comment policy what will happen…you would have to ask the administrator.

Instead of the woman bending down next to her much shorter husband, she might as well wear shorter heels or flats. There’s nothing wrong with a taller woman dating a shorter man, but she should be able to stand tall and proud next to him. When you have to work as hard as Katie to “minimize” the height difference by almost squatting, what’s the point?

“Work as hard”? Why, she’s getting well paid for her hard work, to look like they are a couple. When in reality, he is all that matters. At least that’s the way it appears to me in all their pictures together. He always seems to be the center of attention, and she always seems to be the one who has to either bend down or bend over to be captured next to him. Work it, Katie, because nothing is free in life. I’m sure you found that out by now. That’s how come you aged so much. It’s a hard knock life.

I do think the smile on kh face in the last pic is the most sincere that I have seen on her in a LONG time. It’s as if she has forgotten who she is sitting next to (tc). WS must of had her REALLY laughing just before the cameras arrived at their table.

Ok, seems like I have missed a lot of staff and I have a lot of catching up to do. But hey, I am looking forward to it. I am not surprised that there are those who are less than pleased with the new approach. My hope is that everything works out fine.

Personally, I don’t mind if our comments are moderated or censored from now on. We know what the policy is, if my comment contravenes that, then fine. I’ll go somewhere else where someone will appreciate my pearls of wisdom (ha! joke).
I DO however object to all those posts and comments being deleted! This was a forum where people left comments that didn’t contravene any policy at that point in time. Total censorship to delete them, very wrong.

This is my first post… most of the time I just read all your comments and chuckled (and mostly agreed). I am really disappointed with the new censorship rules though… boring. I’ll go somewhere else.
