  Believe this or not, ever since I was very, very young I used to love to read for extracurricular reading the tabloids. I remember when Sonny & Cher got divorced and she dated Gregg Allman and marrried him and then divorced him 14 days later. I also remember she was known to date younger men because she said guys her age were afraid to ask her out. I vaguely remember these two dating but I do remember Cher dating David Geffen (who I think was in the closet then). Today it is a know fact that he is gay. And so I think Hollywood is a strange town. Usually the stylist and hairstlyist are gay, and probably the rest are bisexual. I mean this is the industry where you can go from rags to being a multimillionaire.

  Wow! When I was very, very young I remember seeing the Sonny and Cher show and television and then they got divorced and the show was cancelled. I NEVER heard of Scientology then and recently read in Dlisted that Cher said she briefly dated Tom Cruise and she didn’t understand the Scientology thing. However, she also said her former husband Sonny Bono was a Scientologist. Wow! Who knew! Good luck to Sonny because he died a few years ago as he was skiing. He hit a tree and died.

  This is really the hour of desperation for the Church of Scientology. Now people are shunning away from them and according to this article they are making up stories that certain celebrities are Scientologists when they are not. They are grabbing at straws now…

  These two pictures of Cruise and Suri were taken I think in 2007 while he was rehearsing for the Oscars. He brought Suri along and by looking at these pictures I can almost hear Cruise telling Suri, “one day you will run this industry.” I mean it almost looks like Suri is an offering to this industry. I bet when Suri grows up, whether Cruise and Katie are still together or not, she will be involved with the COS and the entertainment business. These pictures give me the chills.

  ng, maybe i saw the wrong pics but i’m pretty sure those are pics from that wedding in france? anyhoo, this cher thing is just BIZARRE. i know that she’s generating publicity for herself b/c she is or is about to sign some mega deal in las vegas (similar to celine dion) but WHY O WHY would she want to attach her name to TC? on another note, i never heard about sonny bono being a scientologist and i certainly don’t remember the cult coming out for his funeral . . . maybe we are all “six degrees of separation” from a COS member!

  Catinthehat: When I saw these two pictures of Cruise and Suri (yup, you have to scroll down, not the ones where they are on the beach), I mean the two pictures when they are on a stage, it reminds me of a time many of us can remember when you have rehearsed for a school or church play, a performance, something when you are in a large empty auditiorium and you are standing there thinking “one day I’m gonna be this or that.”

  When I saw these two pictures of Cruise and Suri I felt like he was dedicating her in his mind to the entertainment business and the COS. Through Suri he thinks they will make a lot of $$$. In my opinion, Cruise has BIG PLANS for Suri. This is why I don’t think if Cruise and Katie spilt up she’ll take Suri. I think Suri will stay with Cruise. We’ll see. I just don’t see TOMKAT married 10 years. She’s too ambitious to stick around with someone that has lost his magic touch. On the other hand, she’s not a great actress to make it on her own. She struggles in interviews which is interesting because she’s an actress.

  I tried posting this link before and it didn’t go through, hopefully now it will. We’ve all commented on the pictures of Cruise and Katie coming out of the restaurant Joan on Third but when you SEE the above video titled “Xenu Must Have Pull at the Station” which is from TMZ you get a different perspective of what is going on with Cruise and Katie.

  In this video you can see not only are they surrounded by their personal bodyguards, they have at least 8 Los Angeles Police Department officers protecting them from walking from the back door of the restaurant to their waiting SUV which is parked about 15 feet from the restaurant.

  They must be receiving some death threats or something to need this much protection.

  I agree about them getting threats. They probably believe that the ET’s (aliens of the outer universe kind) are devising a plan to kidnap Katie, so she can have more alien babies. They also probably believe that the ET’s want to kidnap Suri, so that when she grows up, she can rule the universe.

  I think a huge reason why the public just hates Tom Cruise so much is that he has no sense of humor. He takes himself so seriously, and he’s such an idiot, but he thinks he’s a God. Just a complete joke. Does anybody know if he’s ever been a host on Saturday Night Live?! I don’t believe he has been! I find that VERY strange. Very, very strange!

  Carla: I meant they TOMKAT probably have received threats from crackpots because of their plan to CLEAR the planet. I predict anything these two are attached to will bomb. Notice how Victoria Beckman is back in New York but has not been photographed with Katie. Madonna and the Cruises were photographed because Madonna was hosting a fundraiser and gladly received any funds for the Malawai charity BUT did you see the Cruises invited to Ashton Kutcher’s 30th birthday party a few days later??? NO. You saw Gynneth Paltrow, Madonna, Bruce Willis, but NO Cruises. The people that got invited to Ashton’s party were friends NOT donors. Almost anyone can be a donor but NOT everyone can be a friend.

  I am GLAD that Heath Ledger’s father RESTRICTED his last funeral to ONLY close family and friends. And it is reported that that was only 10 people. Anyone else would have been a hanger on, “let me take advantage” of this situation type of person.

  Regarding the Morton Book: Cruise and the Church of Scientology repeatedly threatened to file a lawsuit against Morton, “WHY haven’t they done so???” They are like the boy that cried wolf.

  I mean Cruise has repeatedly filed lawsuits and won. Why hasn’t he filed a lawsuit against Morton??? Because he won’t win that’s why.

  I don’t buy the death threats thing. Joans on
  3rd is located in one of the most popular and crowded outdoor street malls in Los Angeles — that would be the last place I would be if I felt my life were in danger. I think they LOVE all the attention brought on by hounds of security and want people whispering and craning their necks to see who is so important as to need so much “protection.” If they truly felt their lives were in danger, they could sooo easily “disappear” from public view for a loooong time.

  Catinthehat: You must be right. These people, mostly Cruise is a master of PR only I think he’s lost his touch. His intuition has left him. To me, they don’t look important, but dark, mysterious and strange.

  Unlike Angelina and Brad Pitt who right now appear like the most influential couple in Hollywood. They are experiencing a good PR moment.

  TOMKAT are experiencing a backlash from the paying public and if you are in the entertainment industry you do NOT want to upset the public because your movies will be playing to empty movie houses.
