When I first saw these pictures they gave me the chills because it almost looks like Cruise is saying to Suri “this will all be yours one day.” Suri looks like Cruise’ “offering” to the Church of Scientology and the entertainment business. Sorry, I don’t think this is far fetched. I’m sure we’ve all been on a stage rehearsing for a high school play, church play, a musical performance and you find yourself alone for a second and IMAGINE yourself performing and dreaming you will do something big in your life. An Academy Award has alluded Cruise and he might not get a chance at one again but I bet he’ll want Suri to win an award.
I think that if and when TOMKAT split up Suri will stay with Cruise and work with him in the entertainment business and the Church of Scientology. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Cruise has BIG PLANS for Suri. He’s not letting her go whether he’s married or not to her mother.
You can tell from day 1, he has planned, dictated what foods or drink she will ingest, how she’ll dress, the people she will associate with her, he’ll probably hand pick her friends and husband. She is a child of the COS.
When this picture was taken (around Feb 2007) I had not really noticed Suri yet. I remember seeing her in the Vanity Fair spread but didn’t really follow any blogs or anything like that. After June 2007 when she was photographed again and again on the beach in France, the zoo, bakery, Tiergarten in Berlin, Germany I noticed her because I thought she was such a well dressed little baby/toddler.
When this picture was taken Suri and Katie still dressed very normal, not spectacular, nothing special. When they hired a stylist for Suri and Katie which is probably around June 2007 when they left for Europe both Katie and Suri dramatically changed how they dressed. There were more photo opps of both of them. And of course Cruise when he could get away from the set.
I think around Jun 2007 is when the public relations strategic plan kicked in. What they didn’t know was that all that pr build up would come to a crashing halt again and again… Good luck to Suri.

agree, agree, agree, sadly I don’t think KH has a chance in h e l l either of getting custody of Suri when they break up.

Would Tom have been photographed there if Suri was not with him? Of course not, that’s why Suri is with him.
