Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Voted Coldest Stars
Even though the picture perfect and totally normal relationship shared by our favorite cancatenated word couple makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Apparently FilmThreat.com thinks otherwise. The couple Tom Cruise and number one and Katie Holmes at number two top the Frigid 50, Film Threat’s annual list of the coldest stars in Hollywood. A few tidbits:
As does the rest of the world. Steven Spielberg’s latest summer blockbuster was overshadowed by Tom’s publicly flaunted love life with Katie Holmes and his Scientologist fueled rantings and ravings that eventually led to a public war of words with Brooke Shields when he slammed the actress on “Access Hollywood” for her use of Paxil and psychiatric therapy to battle post-partum depression.
Forgive us for being a sucker for a man in love but what’s wrong with a romance so big it overshadows a high-budget medium-fun sci fi flick? And so what if he has opinions, its nice to see “stars” actually commenting on real issues and not just being vapid parrots. While we may not agree with everything Tom says or anything Scientology is about, we would defend to the death his right to say it.
Unless the Scientologists swing meaty roles her way, we see Katie growing pale in Tom’s shadow.
Seems this “Movie News” website hasn’t read the “movie news” about Katie’s plans to eschew her acting career to focus on motherhood. Shameful, really.
