Tomorrow night is the Oscars and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will be out in full force. The pair are lined up to hit some parties so I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of pictures of these two. Stay tuned to TomKatCrazy for all the TomKat Oscar coverage you could ever want!

Tonight is the Academy Awards show and its already almost 2 hours into the show, Nicole Kidman has already appeared and then immediately after Penelope Cruz, even Travolta has been seen but no signs of Cruise or Katie. Unless Cruise appears later in the show, it seems like this show isn’t big enough for Cruise and Kidman on the same stage.

So far the only sighting of Cruise was when they showed clips of past Best Picture Awards and in 1987 there appeared the movie Rain Man and that was 21 years ago.

Before, real big stars would skip the actual awards ceremony and head over to the invite only Vanity Fair party at Mortons but that all important party was cancelled. I mean that’s where everyone wanted to because every media outlet was outside interviewing the biggest stars in the world.

The Academy Awards show is over and I don’t think Cruise and Katie were out in full force. Unless I blinked I don’t think they went to the awards tonight. I am shocked that this show ended at 8:50 pm. It always goes over 30 - 45 minutes but tonight it ended 10 minutes EARLY. I can’t remember that every happening. I don’t think tonight’s show was exciting or memorable. It was kind of so so…

Nicole Kidman looks like she is in a good place in her life. In my opinion, she looks happy with Keith and to be pregnant. Good luck to her.

She was lucky she didn’t have any biological kids with Cruise. She got away clean. Yes, there is Isabella and Connor but I think when said in Vanity Fair, “I had no business adopting anyone” means adopting kids and having biological kids were different things to her. Anyway, I wish her a healthy child and life.

Tonight’s Academy Awards show kind of showed that there’s a new crop of actors moving in, the star from Juno, the best actress winner, Heid K (from Grey’s Anatomy) who seems to have replaced Charlize Theron, and no signs of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, or Britney Spears. For me this year’s show was not a very exciting one.

I meant Kathering Keidl, Ann Hatheway, Myle Syles, etc., it seems like this crop is very different from the Paris Hiltons and Lindsey Lohans. The latter are gonna miss the attention when it moves from them to Katherine Heidl, Myle Syles, Ann Hatheway, etc.

NK and hubby do look content, happy with each other and in love. Good for them!!

I think maybe in hind sight NK meant she had no business adopting because tc would not allow her to be a real hands on mother. She probably thought it would be different, that maybe the courts would give her more in the end

Battlemama: They are the same show. Last night’s show was kind of slow, boring. I’ve been watching this show since I am 8 years old. Yes, for some reason I have always found the entertainment business fascinating but I think last night’s show will go down as the LEAST watched show. It just was not happening (in my opinion).

I think Nic probably meant she shouldn’t have adopted with Cruise, especially with him being so wrapped up in his cult and preventing her from seeing the kids. I am sure she loves Bella and Connor.

NG: I wonder if it had to do with the Writers’ Strike. I mean they had 1-2 weeks to get ready and most people were just not planning to watch if the celebs were not going to be there.

To be honest, you upset the masses with things like strikes over several months, it takes awhile for them to come back.

I am still surprised there was no Tomkat. What better PR? Wonder if KH can’t face a preggo Nicole.

I still find it ironic how just a year ago, Katie was the one who had everything and Nicole was dealing with a hubby just out rehab and infidelity rumors. Although, Nicole didn’t become a pariah. Now, in the last few months, it switched so quickly to Nicole having everything and Katie being a pariah as well her husband–infidelity rumors as well (although I am sure Urban was supposedly seen with someone much younger and cuter.)

Checked NASCAR’s schedule, the race is actually tomorrow. There were only VIP tours of the pit and garage yesterday. All of the tours were done by 3 PM.
Why stop the PR tour when you can continue at the Oscars? What happened to their pre-Oscar party? Wonder if no one would show up, so they cancelled it.

So did tom go to Fontana in hopes of reliving his “Days of Thunder” days. Was he trying to send a mental message to NK?
By tc taking Conner to NASCAR was tc trying to blow out the NK pregnancy candle hoping the media would play up the tc/NK NASCAR romance?

I was happier than a pig in s h i t last night that I dodn’t have to see these two ridiculous dimwits at the Oscars. I find it extremely intersting that they weren’t there, and I’m hoping it has everything to do with those leaked videos, the protests by Anonymous against $ceintology, LFL bombing, MM bombing and the hatred towards UA re: the writers strike.
Being whatever it is that he is at UA (I actually heard he doesn’t hold an actual “position, but P. Wagner does) he really SHOULD have been there but I was really glad they weren’t.
