Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz Talk About Their Wild Stunts

November 13, 2009 by Julie Bonner

Entertainment Tonight went on the set of Tom Cruise’s latest film “Knight & Day” and chatted with Tom and his co-star Cameron Diaz about their stunts. What’s so cool, is that they are doing quite a few of their own stunts!

Here’s the interview.

In regards to Cameron, Tom said "She’s done a 180 in a car — ‘65 GTO the other night. She does it. She’s a very good athlete. Very coordinated and excellent."

In regards to Tom and his stunts, Cameron said, "He is a professional stuntman. If he wasn’t Tom Cruise the movie star, he would be the best stuntman in the business. He’s phenomenal. What he does is, like, crazy."

They also both commented on how funny the film is. Cameron said, "It’s not like a wacky comedy; the situations are kind of absurd." Tom added, "It’s a fun character comedy; adventure, romance — I don’t want to give away too much. Girl meets boy, boy sees girl, girl sees boy, adventure ensues.”

Tom also talks about Connor. What a fabulous interview! There’s more of it, but I can’t find it yet. :)

“Knight & Day” premieres on July 2, 2010. I can’t wait!!

That is a great interview. Mary Hart is annoying.

I hope this movie does well. Tom needs it.

I like Mary Hart…what was so annoying about her Kelly? I liked the interview as well…..as usual Cameron was so outgoing and full of life…I think she is such a better interviewer than Katie who whispers and appears so “mousy”. TC was charming as usual during the interviewer!! I do not think TC could ever be married to Cameron b/c she has such a strong personality, and would match his strong character. teh two powerful personalities would clash and arguing would ensue. He needs a passive woman like Katie to counter balance his very assertive style of communication. Nicole Kidman was mousy and passive as well….I truly believe thats the personality he needs to be married to b/c he is so “strong”.

sorry jenna…probably my mood…she has always annoyed me…she’s too fake perky for me…
but I loved tom and cameron in this interview, thought it was great…!

  5. jenna says:

    lol …ok kelly, no worries!!!

  6. Zigzag says:

Tom was awesome in this interview, so much fun, full of smiles, just great. Of course, Cameron is her normal lovely self. Jenna, I agree with you. Compared to the last “interviews” we’ve seen with Katie…Katie seems so reticent and mousy and annoying in her interviews, whereas Cameron is so open and vivacious and full of life. I hope the movie does well, it doesn’t sound like the kind of movie I’d like to see, but DH likes TC movies and I like Cameron films, so we’ll probably watch it.
