Tom and Suri Cruise were seen boarding a helicopter in New York today. I wonder where they are going? Maybe to see some family back in Los Angeles.

I hope Suri learns to ride a Helicopter when she’s a teenager. I can just imagine, world’s youngest pilot , plastered on magazines, instead of actress.

I think it’s neat that Tom is taking her out for a ride. I think in general, the Cruise family is modeling a balanced working-parent lifestyle. I mean, I know they are multi-millionaires, but put that aside. In the past few years, we’ve watched Katie in the park with Suri as Tom has finished his movie in Europe. We’ve seen them out together as she played mom while he was acting. Now, we’re seeing the role reversal. Katie is getting her shot at working, and they are BOTH spending a lot of time with Suri. Now that she is a toddler, Daddy can also do many things with her. We’ve seen Katie taking her to the park and plays, painting pottery, dance classes..all while getting her shot at her career again. And we’ve seen Tom take her to the park, and now up in the air for a helicopter ride, etc. What I like most is that BOTH parents are involved parents. They aren’t both working at the same time. They are trading off and being terrificly involved with their children. You do NOT see her with a nanny. And as much as some folks “complain” that she shouldn’t be out at night, this is more typical of many cultures around the world. If she sleeps in, there is nothign wrong with being out with her parents at night. I think it’s terrific that they embrace a lifestyle where they are including their child in what they are doing. And she will learn so much for all the experiences and for being included all along the way. I am happy to see them embracing parenting!
I think you’re right Julie. Tom and Suri are probably heading to the airport to catch a flight back to LA. I guess he’ll be taking care of Suri right now.
I feel sorry for Suri. She’s obviously bothered by the loud noise of the helicopter.
M…I love reading what you write it’s always interesting fair and intelligent, I love it, and it is true that they are bringing her up in a very European way, Suri’s very involved in everything Tom and Katie do and go, this is the way I was brought up and its the way my 2 boys were brought up,they never went to sleep before 9-10 pm, both my nieghbours on either side of me used to put their children to sleep at 6.30 every night , even in the summer , when its daylight saving and its light ,I’m sure they thought we were strange parents, I agree with you M, I think Tom and Katie aredoing a great job with Suri.
Precious little Suri looks so pretty in green dress. Wonder if she wears the matching green shoes too.
Oh my god, I can’t BELIEVE how much Suri resembles Katie in the first picture! She’ll grow up to be even more gorgeous than she is already!

M, I agree with Annie, you have a very ballanced and well thought out take on the Cruise family. It must be very hard, multi millionaire or not, to enjoy such a work/life balance but I feel they do it well.
I didn’t like loud noises when I was little, I used to hide from cars & bikes in the garage even though I was round them a fair bit!! You get used to it though, whether it’s from growing up and understanding or just plain conditioning!!! I love bikes & cars now! Hehe
Wherever they’re going, it looks like Katie is going with them too.
I absolutely love the first picture. Tom’s butt is TOO HOT! As usual, Suri just melts my heart. You can see that she will get the best of this world.
I wonder how they keep from having a gazillion kids, I would if I had a child as beautiful as lil Suri. She is simply gorgeous.

I guess were were right! Since we haven’t seen Suri or Tom since the helicopter pictures, I guess they did come back to LA. Isabella and Conner haven’t seen their little sister for awhile, so maybe he took her to them. Katie hasn’t seen them in a long time either!! I hope at some point, the entire family gets together in New York. After all, they did say the whole family was moving to New York!!
I think Suri is starting to look more and more like her daddy, and those blue eyes….but she does’nt like to wear shoes thats for sure.
suri is always looking so cute. and she is really pretty little girl. i think she is covering her ears because of the paps who calling her name or tom name, and all i can see in her recent pictures, it will be such annoying her, she just a little toddler.
i hope she could fly back to meet her mommy katie at NY,so we can see her cute pictures again.
It is interesting that the paps are informed that he is at the airport in NYC, but yet they are not informed that he has landed in LA.
Puck, your point? You think Photo ops are better in NY? Get over it. If he can arrange photo ops in NY he can arrange them in LA. I could use that very argument against your insinuations.
Lauren CHILL! I am not “insinuating” anything. Just pointing out a FACT!
Yes he CAN arrange for photo ops in CA. But he choses not to! He has the paps get his picture when HE wants the pictures to be taken.
The reason the paps did not get the CA pics was because tc did NOT call the paps to meet him him at the airport. When he wants his privacy, he gets it.
Plain and simple.
I didn’t realize you had to call the paps to have your pic taken.
Those paps camp outside where Tom and Katie are staying in NY………..They move, they pounce.
All those paps had to do to take his pic at the heliport was to follow his car.
They have yet to get a pic of him coming into NY because they don’t have a clue when that will be.
BTW……….Are there pics of TC landing at the LA airport at any time?. Hmm, not that I can recall.
Puck, why call them in NY and not in LA? It doesn’t make sense. Is he the one making the money? Besides, how do you know he went to LA? He has several homes.
Besides, LA is a secluded neighbourhood. How many pictures of celebs do you see from the Heliport? Have you seen any before? Only Lax airport. Do you mean celebs call paps even there? Why am I even bothering with you?
FYI, in NY, it is easy for any one to tip off paps that TC has left his home and they follow him, it is simple logic. Their flat is not secluded if you haven’t noticed.
she’s getting prettier everyday.. and she’s look like her parents! I love the way Tom treat her, I hope they will happy forever.
