Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes attended the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Saturday evening (May 9). Katie wore her own designs: Holmes-Yang!

Katie’s outfit was all ivory, which included a blazer, top and long skirt. It’s great to see Katie in her own designs and I am anxious to see what else she comes up with.

Tom went with the classic black suit and looks amazing. He and Katie compliment each other with the dark and light colors.

The agency that snapped this photo said that Tom and Katie were nice enough to stop and pose for pictures and sign autographs for fans. They are always so good about that.

Other celebrities and such that attended the dinner included Todd Palin, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Sting and his wife Trudie Styler. More photos of Tom and Katie below.

What a day for us TomKat fans! This morning we were able to see Tom Cruise walk wife Katie Holmes to work and now this. A family picture that might just be the cutest picture of this lovely family I have ever seen!

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are walking around in New York City and the paparazzi were there to capture it all. Even the paparazzi are smiling. I am guessing they are thrilled to get a picture of the Cruise family all together.

Some sites are saying that they are walking to their New York City apartment. Does anyone know if they have moved into a permanent place yet? I thought they were still staying at the Carlyle Hotel. Who knows?

Here’s the latest movie news for all of you Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes fans who are dying for another movie from one or both of them. I know I am!! I watched Mission Impossible 2 the other day and now I can’t wait for another Tom Cruise movie!!

• ‘Tropic Thunder‘ opens in theaters today!! If any of you head to the theater to see it, let me know because I want to hear all about Tom’s part.
• Tom Cruise will no longer be starring in ‘Edwin A. Salt‘. The role has been passed on to someone else. Someone I am VERY excited about….Angelina Jolie!! Variety says that, “the rare female who is viable in an action genre that has been almost the exclusive domain of men.” I love Angelina in action roles and even though I would have like to see Tom Cruise take the part, I am just as happy with Angelina. The movie is being re-written for Angelina and will also undergo a title change. That should give her time to recover from having twins!
• Tom Cruise is rumored to be joining the comedy ‘Food Fight‘. He would play the role of a snooty New York chef who is forced to cook meals at an inner-city school cafeteria! Oh no! I wonder if he will have to wear one of those caps? LOL. That would be a funny sight. Since Tom was so amazing in Tropic Thunder, I guess he is going to try his hand again at a comedy. He was fantastic in Jerry McGuire, which is one of my all time favorite movies. I won’t even begin to tell you how many times I have seen it.
  
• The latest Katie Holmes movie rumor, is that she and Tom are considering co-starring in the comedy ‘Food Fight’. The rumor is that Katie may play a teacher or a cafeteria staffer. I personally would really like to see them in a movie together and a comedy at that! I’m crossing my fingers for this rumor to be true.

Well I was hoping I would have some more pictures to show you of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes from the 2008 MTV Movie Awards! Tom Cruise attended the awards to present the MTV Generational Award to Adam Sandler.

Tom and Katie chose not to hit the carpet for pictures, but they were backstage greeting award winners and fellow attendees. In the picture above, you can see that they ran into the fabulous Sarah Jessica Parker, or also known as SJP. MTV blogged about the happenings backstage and as I said here, when Katie saw SJP, she said, “I haven’t seen the movie yet,” she said of “Sex.” “I want to have all my friends over. We’re gonna dress up and do it right!” Now that really does sound like fun. Have any of you seen the movie yet?

The MTV Movie Awards are obviously very casual. Katie was dressed in jeans, a patterned shirt and long black jacket. I thought she looked great. When I first saw her latest haircut, I just wasn’t sure about it, but every new picture I see of her, her hair is looking better and better.

On May 5th, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes attended the “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy’ Costume Institute Gala” at The Metropolitan Museum in New York City.

Some are saying that Katie Holmes’ outfit was a disaster, while others are saying she wowed the crowd. There also seems to be mixed reports about her dress being red or tangerine orange. It looks red to me, but the shiny fabric makes it hard to tell in the pictures.

What was the real big talk of the night as far as Katie’s outfit? Well, her shoes of course! Did she wear the traditional black shoes? Not a chance! She wore a pair of blue Christian Louboutin shoes. You can see an up close picture of them here.

I am loving the blue shoes she wore. Why not just go for it when it comes to fashion? Katie definitely did that!

The words “It’s Over!” and “Trial Separation” have been splashed all over the internet and tabloids about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. OK! Magazine reportedly spoke to a friend of the actress and they say how hard this has been on Katie and how angry all of this has made her.

“Katie wishes she didn’t care about the gossip and rumors, but it is hard for her not to,” a friend of the actress tells OK!. The 29-year-old wife and mother recently told her pal how angry she is over this new round of hurtful tales about her marriage.

“She is such a sweet person and never has anything bad to say about anyone,” the friend tells OK!. “She doesn’t understand why some people are wishing problems on her and Tom.“

When asked how Katie keeps it all together, the friends said that she goes on like business as usual. They also say that she’ll keep a smile on in public and keep the hurt hidden at home with her and Tom.

Marriage can already be hard, and then if you add on top of that the fact that you are in the spotlight and under a microscope, I don’t see how any Hollywood marriage can last and be healthy. I do hope that if Katie is happy and healthy in her marriage that her and Tom can survive this, especially for little Suri’s sake.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes did not attend the Oscars as far as I can tell this year but they are supposed to be at The Governor’s Ball.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were at the Broad Contemporary Art Museum opening at LACMA yesterday. Katie looked amazing with her hair swept back and gorgeous gown. Tom on the other hand was wearing an interesting outfit. Check out the wacky pattern on his suit.

How cute is that lipstick mark Katie Holmes left on hubby Tom Cruise’s cheek! They seem to be really happy and in love in these pictures of them in Miami for the Super Bowl. More adorable pictures to come soon.
