Tom Cruise on AMC’s “Storymakers”
May 14, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Airing this Friday, May 15th (10 p.m. EDT) Tom Cruise will be on AMC’s "Storymakers”. The episode is co-hosted by show-biz veterans Peter Bart and Peter Guber.
During the special, Tom commented on how he would love to try directing, but right now isn’t the time. How come? Because he’s busy with a different kind of project: Parenting.
"It’s really about my kids," explains Cruise, the father of three children, who says directing a film would be even more time-consuming than producing or performing.
"One day I will do it, but right now, I’m having so much fun as an actor," Cruise says on AMC’s "Storymakers,"
Other guests on the show include Judd Apatow, Nick Cassavetes and Cameron Diaz.

Tom Cruise “I’m an Actor, Not a Politician”
May 11, 2009 by Julie Bonner
The New York Daily News caught up with Tom Cruise recently and asked him if he has ever considered going into politics.
"I’m an actor, not a politician,” Cruise told the News. "Acting is what I’m good at, what I’ve been trained to do. I’d never do politics."
Tom added that between politics and acting, he has the “better job”.
I could personally never see Tom getting into politics. What are your thoughts?
Behind the Scenes: Jimmy Kimmel Live Promo with Tom Cruise
February 23, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Last night (February 22), while watching the 2009 Oscars, a promo with Tom Cruise and Jimmy Kimmel came on. It was so funny and quite a nice surprise! You can see the promo here and I also have an extended one that I’ll post below.
The clip starts out with Tom saying, “Jimmy just kept calling and calling and begging his managers, producers, lawyers…”.
Then it shoots over to Jimmy saying, “When I got the call saying that Tommy wanted to do something with me, I had two questions: What time and where and when?”
I was literally laughing out loud while watching this clip! Here’s the “Behind the Scenes: Jimmy Kimmel Live Promo w/ Tom Cruise”.

Tom Cruise Says “It Is What It Is”
February 6, 2009 by Julie Bonner
We all know that the world watches what not only Katie Holmes is wearing, but hers and Tom’s little daughter Suri Cruise as well.
The little girl has become a fashion icon at the age of 2.
Tom Cruise was asked what he thinks about the whole thing. He reportedly told The Sun, "It’s very flattering that people want to copy Suri’s clothes and the way she dresses.
"It does feel strange but you have to kind of go ‘it is what it is’.
"Of course we all think our children are incredible and I feel that way about all three of our kids."

Tom Cruise on Jonathan Ross Comeback Show
January 26, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Jonathan Ross’s comeback show was a huge success. He started off the show apologizing for the incident that got him booted off the show for a bit saying, “Being on the BBC… it’s a great privilege and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed and I value enormously. And in future I do intend to be more aware of the responsibility that comes with such a gift.” He seemed very sincere with his apology.
Tom Cruise was one of Ross’s first guests on the show this past Friday. Tom pre-taped the segment while he was in London for the premiere of “Valkyrie”.
Stephen Fry, one of Ross’s guests, was talking about his love of blogging. Ross then ask Tom, “Tom, do you Twitter?”
Tom then responded from the green room with, “Who me?!” and Ross says, “No, the other Tom! Who do you think?!”
The rest of the interview was just as hilarious and Ross seemed to love having Tom on the show. Check out the entire interview below.
Tom Cruise Promotes “Valkyrie” in Seoul, Korea
January 19, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Tom Cruise, film director Bryan Singer, and writer and producer Christopher McQuarrie attended a red carpet event for their new movie "Valkyrie" at the COEX Megabox Cinema in Seoul on January 18, 2009. It’s been 7 years since Tom has visited Seoul and he has quite the fan base there.
Tom and Bryan are reportedly staying for three days in Seoul and Korea is the only Asian country they will visit during their world tour.
Fans lined the red carpet at the premiere and were going nuts trying to get pictures, autographs, a handshake or whatever they could from Tom. The whole scene looked incredibly overwhelming.
Big Day for Tom and Katie
January 11, 2009 by Julie Bonner
This is a big day for both Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. I just saw Tom interviewed on the red carpet at the 66th Annual Golden Globes. He is nominated for his role in “Tropic Thunder” and I will definitely be watching to see if he wins. My fingers are crossed!
Today is also Katie’s last performance on Broadway in “All My Sons”. I can’t imagine how Katie and the rest of the cast are feeling right now. I am so proud of her for lasting through the grueling process of being on stage 6 nights a week. You made it Katie!!
During Tom’s red carpet interview, he said that Katie would be at the Golden Globes party later, so I guess she is flying in for that. How exciting! I hope they have a fantastic evening together. What a fun way to end her Broadway stint…with a big party! Fabulous.
As soon as red carpet photos are available of Tom Cruise, I will post them.

Tom Cruise May Appear on “Friday Night With Jonathan Ross”
January 8, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Tom Cruise will be heading to London soon to promote his new film “Valkyrie”. He is in talks with BBC to appear on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, who is coming back after his three month suspension.
He was suspended after appearing on BBC’s radio show, which afterwards received 42,000 complaints. He has been warned to tone down his language and crude remarks.
BBC is trying to keep any controversy from building up and they see Tom as a “safe” guest, who is unlikely to create any drama for Ross’s first show back. Ross posted online : “Don’t want to jinx things. First show already looking great!”
Tom Cruise has not not been confirmed as a guest quite yet.

Tom Cruise Talks About Jett Travolta Death on “The View”
January 8, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Tom Cruise left his New York apartment this morning and headed over to “The View” for an interview. I haven’t seen the entire clip (it airs tomorrow on ABC), but TMZ has posted a clip where Tom was asked about the death of Jett Travolta.
Tom was visibly shaken and said that the tragedy was horrific. He also addressed Scientology’s role in Jett’s death, since media outlets and others are blaming John and Kelly’s religious beliefs for Jett’s death (which I think is such a shame at this horrible time for them).
He struggled to find the right words, but explained that his religion does not prohibit people from seeing a doctor and getting proper medication. Watch the clip below.
