Katie Holmes started off the morning alone for her birthday and Suri Cruise spent the morning at the park with her nanny. Suri and Katie met up later and they took a trip to the bakery. Notice how they are wearing matching shoes? So cute!

Recently, Tom Cruise spoke to US Weekly and when asked about the possibility of Suri acting one day, he said “I’d love it. I’d love it. Acting is … a great life to get to entertain people and create characters and stories.”

What about if Suri or his two older children, Isabella and Connor, don’t want to act. He’s okay with that too. “They have full exposure to the world and all different kinds of ideas and philosophies so that they can make choices for themselves,” he said. “I support them in whatever choices they want to make.”

Well, we know one child who’s into acting. Connor Cruise! He is in the movie “Seven Pounds” which opens this weekend, December 19th. The premiere of the movie was the other night and I have been trying to track down pictures of Connor from the premiere. So far, no luck. I am hoping to see this movie this weekend because I am a HUGE Will Smith fan and I have heard so many great things about the movie. Any one else headed to the theater to see it?

Tom Cruise was on David Letterman last night, December 16th, to promote his film “Valkyrie”. Did I mention he is hard to keep up with these days? Wow, he’s just every where! I love it!! (The picture above is of Tom before appearing on the show.)

Letterman started off the interview showing some pictures that were featured in People Magazine. There was one from his wrestling days when he was 16, one with Paul Newman and of course, the Santa Claus on that I just love. Suri Cruise really does have a “what the heck are you doing dad” look on her face.

They went on to talk about first jobs and the reason he came there….”Valkyrie”. Letterman asked him about wearing the eye patch for the film and Tom said that when he first put it on, he felt a little nauseous because he lost depth perception.

Last night, December 4th, was the Tom Cruise interview on Barbara Walter’s special ‘Barbara Walters’s Presents The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008′. As I mentioned before, Tom made that list and he was actually number 2, right before Barack Obama! The list I had before was wrong.

This was the most different Tom Cruise interview I have ever seen. He was so subdued, so quiet and calm. Not the Tom Cruise we are all used to seeing. He seemed so much older in this interview to me.

The last time Barbara Walters interviewed him was back in 2005 on the set of Mission Impossible 3. He took her on a fast ride and talked about his new love Katie Holmes. Barbara said that this time she met a much different Tom Cruise, weathered and wiser.

Tom Cruise recently revealed that he and Katie Holmes do want to add another child to their family. They are waiting until Katie is done with her Broadway stint and returns back to their family home in California.

Tom said, ‘We have already heard she’s pregnant but it’s not true. But yes, we will have more children. I’m saying this, but Kate’s not here! She’s working and we’re enjoying this time right now. It’s very precious, we don’t get this time back.

‘When Suri was born we shut everything down for months, just to be with Suri and the kids. But now I’m making movies and Kate is loving being on Broadway because it has been a dream of hers, so we are enjoying this time too.’

They are definitely one busy couple right now and there is no room for a pregnancy, that’s for sure! When they do decide the time is right, they are going to have three very excited children. Nicole Kidman says that Connor Cruise wants a little brother! Although, it will be interesting to see how Suri reacts to not being the center of attention anymore. I know my daughter had a very hard time when her little brother came around. When I was changing his diaper, she used to grab the diaper and try to hide it somewhere. Little stinker.

Entertainment Tonight’s Mary Hart sat down with the cast of ‘Valkyrie’, which hits theaters on December 26th. Mary chatted with director Bryan Singer, Tom Cruise, Carice van Houten and Thomas Kretschmann.

Tom plays Col. Claus Graf von Stauffenberg, who helped create a plan to assassinate Adolf Hitler. He wanted to seize power and put an end to the bloodshed that Hitler had created.

“He was a man who thought beyond himself and even his country, looking toward the world,” says Tom. “Very early on he was someone who opposed Hitler.”

The movie was obviously a very serious film, and the cast and crew did try to keep things a little light on the set. One time, something unexpected lightened the mood.

“We had to stop shooting [one day] because there was a wild boar in the neighborhood,” says Tom with a laugh. “That was a new one. I thought I was being ‘Punk’d.’”

That is too funny! Actually, I would love to see Tom Cruise Punk’d. Has he been? If not, someone call Ashton Kutcher!

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise went on an outing in New York on Monday, November 24th. Katie wore a red plaid dress, black cardigan and scarf. Suri looks precious in her blue dress, tights, and that adorable white coat. Suri wore a coat! Yay! LOL. She looks very cute.

So, will Suri Cruise be getting a baby brother or sister anytime soon? We know that Connor Cruise wants a little brother pretty bad. Tom Cruise did say that he wants more children, but said that Katie is not pregnant.

Oprah Winfrey herself has spilled some secrets of the Tom Cruise 2-part interview that will air May 2nd and May 5th.

During the the taping of her interview with Tina Turner and Cher this weekend in Las Vegas, she shares that she does ask Tom questions about Scientology, his interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show and the infamous couch jumping incident on her show. Wow, this sounds like it’s going to be a great interview!

The first part of the two-part interview will be from his home in Telluride, CO. One Las Vegas audience member said, “Oprah said Tom gave her a ride on a snowmobile,She also said Katie and Suri were there for the interview, too.”

On May 5th, Cruise will return to Oprah’s Chicago studio for the 25th anniversary of his movie “Risky Business”.

I can not wait to see this!
