Katie Holmes smiled and waved to the crowd as she rehearsed for the Memorial Day concert in Washington D.C. on Saturday (May 23).

She was wearing a cute top, black leggings and carrying a gorgeous white purse with black trim. She looks great!

Katie and co-star Dianne Weist participated in the dress rehearsal as well and took to the stage to practice. You can see some pictures of Katie and Dianne in front of the capital here.

Last week, Katie told USA Today how important this concert was. She said, “It’s important to tell these stories and honor the sacrifice and service of these men and women and their families. It’s a real gift to be able to portray an American of such strength. I’m excited. I want to do justice to her story.”

Today (May 20) Katie Holmes was seen stopping by a dance studio in Los Angeles, CA. Katie’s growing tresses were blowing in the wind and I think it’s looking great. I’ve been looking at pictures of her with short and long hair and the longer style seems to suit her better. IMO.

Katie was wearing a blue shirt and sweater, paired with some rolled up blue jean short and black leggings. Will we EVER find out what she is taking all of these dance classes for? Maybe it’s her way of getting exercise and it’s not for Broadway. Who knows!

Tonight is the American Idol finale and since it’s obvious Katie and Suri are fans, I bet they will be watching it. I know I will. Any American Idol fans here? The picture of Katie covering Suri’s ears is so cute. I can’t imagine how loud it was in there with all of that screaming!

An absolutely stunning Katie Holmes attended and hosted the Independent Filmmaker Project 30th Anniversary party in New York last night (April 26). The event was held at the Cooper Square Hotel in the NoHo neighborhood.

Katie wore all black and it is working! Her halter top is from Alexander McQueen and she paired it with black pants, Givenchy sandals and a little bit of gold bling.

According to IFP.org, the program assist independent film makers to hook up with industry professionals and connect with their audiences.

The Associated Press caught up with Katie outside of the event and she talked briefly about “The Extra Man”, her love for movies and what this program has done for indie films.

Katie said, “I just wrapped ‘The Extra Man’ in February and I am really honored and happy to be here tonight because I think it’s so important what they’re doing…”

A casual looking Katie Holmes was seen going to a dance studio in Redondo Beach, CA yesterday (April 17). She was carrying her Penta water, which she has been seen with several times lately.

Penta water is supposed to increase the antioxidant activity in your body.

Katie is obviously working very hard for a role of some sort that requires some fancy footwork. She’s been seen visiting various dance studios several times a week. I am really hoping that any day now word of what Katie is doing next will come out. Someone make an announcement already!

Today, Katie Holmes was reportedly seen entering a fertility building and yesterday (April 13) she was photographed walking into a dance studio in Hollywood.

Katie was wearing a pair of rolled up denim shorts, a purple plaid button up shirt and a pair Kenneth Cole black sandals. Katie’s hair is definitely getting longer. You can really tell in these photos. Is it driving you crazy yet wondering what Katie is practicing her dance skills for?

On Easter Sunday, Tom, Katie and Suri Cruise participated in an Easter egg Hunt with actor couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. I have seen the pictures of the Easter Egg hunt, but I can’t post them here, unfortunately.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise enjoyed a mother/daughter outing together at Le Pain Quotidien on Sunday, March 29th. They were swarmed by tons of paparazzi who were making it difficult for Katie to walk through the crowd while holding Suri. As you can see from the pictures, the noise was a little much for Suri.

Katie was dressed in a long purple shirt, blue jean capris and black strappy high heels. Suri wore a pink sundress and a pair of silver flats.

Katie has been seen in and out of a Los Angeles dance studio over the past week. Not only is she practicing her dance moves for something, but she was also heard belting out some tunes. I am dying to find out what she’s gearing up for!

Katie Holmes is all smiles while filming a scene in New York for “The Extra Man”. She is also sporting a new ‘do! Katie was wearing some bright beads in her hair for the scene.

Her and co-star Alex Burns were photographed outside the Russian Tea Room in New York City yesterday, March 4th. In the scene, they were holding hands and having what looks like some sort of serious conversation.

So, so far we have seen Katie crying and looking serious. This is supposed to be a comedy! I can not wait to see this film and see what Katie’s role is like!

Katie Holmes is back in New York and was seen heading to the set of “The Extra Man” today (March 4). She was wearing that white beanie that everyone rags on her about, but I think it’s cute. She also had on her favorite white Marc Jacobs scarf.

In Katie’s Glamour magazine interview, she was asked what “The Extra Man” was about:

GLAMOUR: What’s next for you? What’s The Extra Man about?

KH: It’s a very New York story. Kevin Kline plays a man who takes socialites to parties. I play a character named Mary who works at an environmental magazine and is trying to change the world one day at a time.

I have even more photos from Katie Holmes’s emotional scene that she was filming in New York yesterday. Katie is in New York working on her new movie “The Extra Man” with Paul Dano.

We always hear what a joy it is to work with Katie and how sweet she is. She has already won over the crew of “The Extra Man” by feeding their sweet tooth. According to OK!, Katie bought the cast cookies on Tuesday, February 25th.

An on-set source told the mag, “It was only the second day of filming and Katie brought our entire crew chocolate chip cookies. What an utter sweetheart.

"She said, ‘I know you guys work hard.’ It’s such a small gesture but it really goes a long way. She’s cordial, she’s friendly and everyone already loves her.”
