Tom Cruise Confirmed to Play US President in “28th Amendment”

It’s been confirmed that Tom Cruise will play a US President in Phillip Noyce’s next action/thriller, which is entitled “28th Amendment.” He will star alongside Denzel Washington, whom I love!!

The new movie follows the adventures of an American President (Cruise) that discovers the United States is actually being controlled by a super secret organization (run by Washington) that terminates those that get in its way.

Noyce is a controversial director, who is responsible for such films as “Rabbit-Proof Fence” and “The Quiet American.” He also previously helmed “Patriot Games,” “Clear and Present Danger” and “The Saint.”

Let me just say that I hope this is a hit for Tom. I would think that since it’s a movie with Denzel that would help, but I guess he’s had some movies that have tanked in the past also. This definitely sounds like a movie I will see unlike that, ahem, other one.
