The 2009 TONY Awards are on Sunday, June 7th 8/7c on CBS. The nominations were announced today and neither Katie Holmes, nor the cast of “All My Sons”, were nominated for any awards.

I didn’t really expect a nomination for Katie from the reviews I read about the play. I read she was good, but this was her first time. I am sure she needs some more experience under her belt before a nomination might be in her future.

Katie Holmes’s Broadway co-stars told OK! Magazine after their final performance that they are going to miss Katie’s company and her talent.

As Katie left to hop on a plane and join Tom Cruise at the Golden Globe after parties, she was asked if she like being a Broadway star. Katie beamed and said “Yes!” The final performance for “All My Sons” was packed and the stars all received a standing ovation.

John Lithgow, who starred as Joe Keller, told OK!, "We’ll all miss Katie. Everybody adores her — any of us will tell you that."

Christian Camargo, who played Katie’s character’s brother, George Deever, said that it was great working with Katie.

"She was amazing to work with — the integrity, the work ethic," he told OK!.

"I can’t wait to work with her again."

"Tom was our number one fan," he added. "He came and saw the show 25 times!"

It sounds like Katie was a joy to work with. I knew she would be!

Remember all the rumors about Katie Holmes’s ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson bringing her flowers while she was at rehearsals? Well, it’s not true and the rumors kept him from going to her play at all.

In a recent interview, he was asked if he attended Katie’s play “All My Sons”. Here’s his response: "No. I was going to go and then someone published this fake story about how I went and took her roses so I was like, well, I guess that’s out."

That’s a bummer! I’m not sure who started that rumor. Whoever it was said that Katie was overjoyed and “lept” into Joshua’s arms. Oh brother.

  Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise left together from Katie’s final performance in the Broadway play “All My Sons” on January 11th. Suri gave the cutest smile as her and Katie arrived at the heliport.

Katie and Suri are on their way to Los Angeles to join Tom Cruise at the Golden Globes party.

It will be interesting to see what Katie does now that her time on Broadway is over, for now anyway. There are rumors flying that Katie will be in the musical “Finding Neverland”. We may be hurting for pictures of Katie and Suri. Will they stay in New York or pack up and head back to California? I guess we will have to wait and see!

When Tom Cruise said he “has some things planned” for Katie Holmes’s 30th birthday yesterday, he wasn’t joking. Tom and Katie were actually a part for her birthday because he was in Los Angeles promoting “Valkyrie”.

Her birthday just do happen to be the same night as the “Valkyrie” Los Angeles premiere. Well that stinks! I am sure Tom wanted to be there for her. But since he couldn’t, he made sure she felt very special.

Tom sent Katie a giant 5-tiered cake birthday cake. An audience member said that it looked like a wedding cake. The cake was wheeled out at the end of the show and John Lithgow was there to say, “Tom Cruise, our good friend, devoted fan to the show, doting husband of Katie, could not be here tonight. He’s heartsick that he couldn’t be here … but he wanted to make his presence felt. So, he’s joining us, inviting all of you, to celebrate Katie’s birthday.”

On Monday, October 21, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes donned their navy suits for a cocktail party at the Hermes store in NYC. TomKat joined the cast of “All My Sons” at the party.

I think Katie looks fabulous in her pin stripped suit. She looks classy and the fit is perfect for her. It definitely makes her look super tall!

Katie Holmes has the opening night of “All My Sons” behind her and can now focus on all of the performances ahead of her. From everything I have heard and read, opening night was a success for the entire cast. Katie spoke to PEOPLE after the performance, and answered some great questions about Suri, Tom and balancing her career with family.

Last night (October 16), was one of the biggest nights in Katie Holmes’ career. “All My Sons” had its opening night and this is something Katie has been waiting for, for a long time. She has been talking about doing Broadway for years and she has finally done it! Congratulations Katie!

After the opening night of All My Sons, there was the opening party. Katie wore a white jumper type thing over a black lace top. She topped it off with some killer heels and a black clutch. This is definitely a look I haven’t seen on Katie before. What do you think? She looks so tall and thin in this outfit doesn’t she?

I have a lot of catching up to do with pictures, reactions to the play and candids from the last couple of days, so bear with me as I get these posts up today! (The last two days have been a little CRAZY!)

Tom and Katie left the after party arm and arm and called it a night, walking back to their Manhattan apartment. Katie looks so happy in these pictures and so does Tom. I imagine he is bursting with pride for his wife.

Wow! I have some catching up to do here on TomKatCrazy. I took the holiday weekend off and then today haven’t been able to post because of server and computer issues. It looks like things are working great now and I can start posting!

So, the biggest Katie Holmes news of the day, that I am sure all of you have heard/read somewhere already, is that the anti-Scientology group called, Anonymous, is planning to make a statement at the “All My Sons” opening night next month. I have read two things that they plan on doing. The first thing was that they plan on protesting outside of the Theatre.

The second thing I saw over at JustJared. He reported that the group plans to “sit silently among the audience at the Gerard Schoenfeld Theatre wearing masks of British Catholic revolutionary Guy Fawkes.”

A rep for the group told The Sun, “We aren’t looking to shut All My Sons down. We don’t have the power to do that – we just want to prove a point. We just want to save Katie. We want to draw attention to Scientology, and hopefully get Katie out of it before it’s too late.”

Now this is a look I haven’t seen on Katie Holmes! She attended rehearsals wearing a flowery shirt, beige cardigan (I think) and some skinny jeans. I don’t remember seeing Katie in a flower print before. Maybe since her picture is being taken SO much, she is trying to mix things up a bit. I know I would!
