  I believe that Suri is 18 months…not really “almost” 2 and while it might be strange to some that she is still taking a bottle it isn’t necessarily unheard of. I have heard of some children “nursing” until they are past 2 and so I don’t see how a child taking a bottle at that age is much different. I know of a lot of children who still suck on pacifiers until they are past age 4. As far as Suri keeping her hands busy well…she is a little child. Kids that age and even older are always touching things and putting them in their mouths. It is how they learn about the world. Their language skills aren’t well developed and so exploring things tactically is how they learn. I personally don’t think it is appropriate to imply that something is wrong with Suri because she holds things. And it is certainly kind of creepy to insinuate that she might be doing inappropriate things “under her blanket”. How is Suri holding a bottle or a toy or a magic marker any different that Shiloh JP holding scotch tape or a blanket or a doll or Violet Affleck holding a toy or a blanket or a doll? They are children and this behavior is entirely typical and acceptable.

  okay I’m not going to get into the whole bottle argument again because it’s ludicrous….no kid should be on the bottle at this age, PERIOD.

  My problem with this whole scene is that they appear to just be standing around…having their picture taken at a park, theres no playing….no interacting with Suri, but she is sure aware of the cameras on her…it’s PATHETIC….every other celebrity family you see out and about is interacting with their kids…..these people look like extras on a movie set that are waiting for their scene!!!!

  I wasn’t asking for anyone to get into any kind of argument with me. I just do not think it is ok for anyone to decide what is acceptable behavior regarding child rearing. Just because one person thinks something is wrong (i.e. an 18 month old being on a bottle) doesn’t make it wrong. I think it is especially easy for people who have never been a parent to make generalizations like that. I don’t understand what makes anyone think they have the right to decide what is right and wrong for anyone else. I am a parent and just because both of my children weaned by about 13 months of age doesn’t make it wrong for an 18 month old to still be taking a bottle. I’m not going to go on and on either about the subject of how long a child should take a bottle. I just really get tired of some of the stuff said here. I try to be reasonable and logical but sometimes it feels like I am beating my head up against a brick will and I don’t know why I even bother.

  I also don’t know how anyone can assume that all these people are doing is standing around based upon 6 pictures. How do we know that they weren’t running or laughing or playing or interacting? And of course Suri is aware that there are cameras! She can see them can’t she? Just like the JP kids are aware of cameras because they are always in their face. Just like ALL celebrities have to deal with this to some degree. If they ignore the cameras then they are stuck up or full of themselves or they have something to hide and if they look at them or smile or say anything then they are media w h o r e s. How do they win?

  lili, I don’t need to have children to be able to READ, and a 22 month old, which is what I BELIEVE suri is, should not by any stretch of the imagination be taking a bottle with milk!!!!! Every single thing I’ve read on the subject says this is not right.

  What we do on these sites is make comments opn what we see. I guess it’s just one BIG conspiracy against this family that for months they have been photographed standing around empty fields with the kid dressed in Burberry and katie in high heels, zooming through a zoo for another photo op, and now these photos…all of them just standing around, with suri looking like she’s trying to amuse HERSELF.

  Libra, I am familiar with how this site works as far as making comments based upon what we see. I also know that everyone has different opinions and that people will not always agree. What frustrates me (my beating my head against a wall comment) is when people act like their opinion is the only one and that everyone else is wrong to have theirs. Just because you believe SC to be 22 months old does not mean that she is. Just like I might not be right in thinking she is exactly the age her parents say she is. Why should it be unreasonable for us to take another look at something and perhaps decide that maybe someone else does make a good point and that perhaps there is more than one side to things? I do think it is safe to say that we (as in you and I) have very different ideas about most subjects but that does not mean I don’t respect your opinion even though I usually don’t agree with it…I always try to keep an open mind because I know I am not always right.

  Yes Suri is a little to old for a bottle. Most Dr.s says 1. Maybe she is still on a bottle for security. She’s not in her own enviroment. She needs to hang on something and she has her blanket also. Kids can have a blanket for years. Imagine being Suri and everyone talks German except her family. I’m surprise that Tom’s kids haven’t been there. Give Suri a break, she can’t help what is going on with her life. Her life is controlled by adults. I think it’s a security thing with the bottle. Maybe it’s a little security for Katie also. Give Suri a break…

Apparently they had an agreement that the children would not attend any premiers…..which TC went back on when he took them to MI3….apparently she was furious

  Since they use nurser bottles and not pre-packaged containers, I assume that the milky white liquid is probably home-prepared and self mixed (BYOB). Who knows what’s in that liquid. It could contain vitamins or some drug. It seems like everytime after Suri is pictured holding her bottle, she knocks out, and mommy has to carry her away. I know that kids need plenty of sleep and rest, but this kid always seems to require a lot of napping, especially during their photo ops. I speculated before that this kid doesn’t get much sleep at night, and I am believing that more now.

  What is normal about these people? They are jumping all over sofas and getting knocked up within two seconds of meeting each other. They are snoggling each other in public up until KH pops, much to the disgust of everyone around them, and then there is nothing in the way of affection after the kid is born. They hold hands in a weird way. They USE their bio kid for their own PR and ignore the adopted ones. Not to mention TC the psych expert.
  Kh can’t possibly be normal, because any normal, mature woman would have run the other way after the sofa thing and the fact that mommy is still living in the home with her son.
  Although, I will grant, she is normal for an immature teenage girl who is in love with fame, unlimited shopping, etc.

  From what I read Nicole was/is Catholic. She picked up Scientology at the same time she picked up Cruise. She became concerned in her marriage that Cruise would dump her if Scientology told him to and also she saw it all as crap. She was trying to reconnect to Catholicism when Cruise dumped her and took the kids away from her.

  Another Cruise-Kidman connection: If you read about their 2007 weddings, they are very similar. Difference is, Kidman’s husband actually wrote the song he sang to her at the wedding for her. TC and KH were not so original when they sang. Also, Nicole and hubby had a long kiss too. I guess TC and KH were not to be upstaged by Kidman and had to copy quite a bit of Kidman’s and Urban’s wedding ideas.

  That’s definately not a wedding song, by any stretch of the imagination. They should be singing about finding it, not losing it. I think that the wedding reception was really a big get together that TC wanted for his real sweethearts, and Katie isn’t one of them. Katie just happened to dress up in something white, that was borrowed anyway. They didn’t have to pay for the gown. Like I said, the casualty here is Suri, and possiblity any other innocent beings they bring into their world.

  mama, Katie, probably as per her wedding contract, had to share the “wedding” event with a Scientology recruiting blitz. Hundred and hundreds of people she didn’t even know attending her “special day” Why? I think that question is answered when you hear what everyone at every table received as a “gift”…….a gift bag with $cientology paraphinalia…pamphlets, a book and a certificate for a free session and massage/detox.

  SO so revolting. They tried REALLY hard to recruit JLo because she’s basically an empire with her hands in mnay pies….a real money making machine.   It truly seems like there may be a new “cleaner” in the higher ranks of $cientology.   Wasn’t it part of the contract saying this kid was TC’S? (I’m still don’t buy that conspiracy.) I mean KH can’t come out later and say she lied. Think about the damage to poor Suri.
  If Scient. is that mafia-like, I doubt they will let her a) walk away with the kid from Scient. and b) say it wasn’t TC’s. That would be very embarassing for all involved, including innocent Suri. Much more controversial than wedding photos for extortion.

  They may have dirt on her though. I doubt she could lie like this for money and fame and not have something in her past. Or maybe they will blackmail with her family. Even with all the lies she has told to get what she has, no one will respect, believe, or hire her if she comes clean now. She has sold herself and, unfortunately, her daughter.

  She’s there until she is traded in for the younger model in a few years. I doubt TC would allow community property laws to set in. Given KH’s lifestyle, $3 million a year and a house will not be enough. I think there will also be a fight for Suri and other kid(s). TC’s ego will not allow KH to walk away with Suri.

  Maybe KH is drugged half the time and that will be their way to keep Suri away from her. It worked with Nicole.

  she’ll never tell the public about Suri not being his!!!! It’s not to her advantage in ANY way!!! She’d have to admit to the world she sold out to be a beard, and that she used tc just as much as he used her!!!! He used her to head off at the pass the morton/big red excerpt that was going to be leaked, she used him to save face after discovering she was knocked up!!!

  Just like Nicoles never going to say “he’s
  g a y!!” “he’s sterile, thats why we adopted, that kid isn’t his!” Everyone would know this unknown actress sold her soul to be in a contract marriage with a g a y man for fame and fortune AND that it wasn’t his kid she got pregnant with at the beginning of their relationship, OR the end.

  Believe me, her father has made sure there are no loop holes when it comes to their little girl and their grand-daughter. She’ll walk away with the kid, no problem

  Little Suri looks to be between 18 mns and 2 years to me. I think she is just tall for her age. Katie is tall don’t forget. She looks just like Katie. But I think she does look a little like Tom too. I don’t have any idea about whats going on with them intimately but the kid looks biologically theirs to me.
