Suri Cruise on Cover of Us Weekly
Move over Britney, Suri Cruise is the hot topic in Us Weekly this week. What you’ll find inside this issue:
Everyone knows that Suri Cruise, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ adorable little daughter, leads a charmed existence but her upbringing as a Scientologist remains largely a mystery. How does the religion started by L. Ron Hubbard influence Suri’s life on a daily basis?
Us Weekly has learned that while Suri — who as a baby was breastfed and nursed on a mixture of barley water, milk and corn syrup which Hubbard advocated as being healthier than formula and breast milk — is too young to take classes at the Scientology Centre, the 18-month-old is constantly surrounded by believers, including her two nannies.
“Tom doesn’t like associating with people who aren’t Scientologists,” says an insider.
Additionally, Holmes, 28, and Cruise, 45, have a hard time saying no to Suri. But it’s not simply because they’re pushovers.
“It’s all about being positive and supportive,” says the couple’s friend (Hubbard advised parents to “try to be the child’s friend.”) As for discipline, one former church member tells Us that Scientologists do not scold their children, but instead explain that bad behavior (like throwing a toy) is the “wrong action.” (A Scientology rep tells Us, “How a parent disciplines their child is left up to the parent.”)
Cruise and Holmes, says their pal, are very lenient and do not like to give Suri too many rules: “Suri pretty much does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. If she fusses before bed, they let her stay up later. If they want her to go swimming and she cries, they’ll take her out. If she whines about food, they’ll ask her what else she wants to eat. They always want to please her.”
In other words, they’re typical parents.

It is extremely odd, too, that they kept this child locked from the public eye for the first four or five months of her life, only hearing mutterings from a very few who had “seen” her, and now the child is on the cover of every magazine cover worldwide on a weekly basis. Makes no sense. The ridicule they endured right after she was born was insane. Just let the public see your child. Everybody was wondering what was possibily wrong with her and speculating about everything. I can’t believe a “fake religion” would make you cloister your child from view for months and then allow you after the four months is up to sell her to the world press. What I wouldn’t give to be able to see what goes on in the brains of these two NINCOMPOOPS (a/k/a Tom and Katie).

I think that the kid was super ugly when it was born, and if you notice, she only looks oddly cute, when certain photos are photoshopped, like the one appearing on the US magazine above. In most other pictures, the kid looks plain and unattractive. She looked awful, in the photos taken of her, when they were in Italy last year. Remember those pictures, only months before, they hid their darling Suri from the photo eye. Then, we suddenly see her sad looking red and blotchy face, with greasy hair, taken out to a restaurant, in the middle of the night. I seriously think that Suri is nocturnal. That’s why we see so much of her napping during the day.

Actually, there are plenty of pictures where she’s surrounded by people and not interacting with any of them. Maybe that’s why everybody carrys her. I feel that Suri may be slightly autistic.

Actuallly it not so odd to keep the kid locked away once you take into account recent behavior. By keeping her locked away, they were able to sell the daughter to an even higher bidder when they actually brought her out.
Just proves my point that innocent KH has given TC his match in the ego and using department. Even she uses Suri for her own gain. Of course, KH did from the beginning: She used Suri to keep TC on a leash and get the house and wedding she wanted. She uses Suri for her own fame. Now Suri is financing her shopping trips.
Would anyone care about KH without Suri in the picture?
I AM SURPRISED THAT EVERYONE HERE THINKS IT’S OKAY TO EXPLOIT A CHILD THE WAY KATIE AND TOM HAVE!!!!!

No wonder she will be home schooled, no descent parent would want a spoiled brat in their class who does whatever she wants.

that video of her in that shop in Paris was hilarious when she threw her head down on the ground when katie took that sharpie marker away from her. what kind of d u m b a s s gives their baby a sharpie to play with……..in an expensive store

I think she is slightl spoiled but if your tha rich and you can spoil your child like that its good but if they becme like how people say Suri is then its the parents fault. KH would be nowhere without Suri as everyone would just see her as Tom Cruises it on the side but she had his baby and now she carts her everywhere to get a lttle bit of attention

Well in the beginning they said they had to keep her out of the media spot light because in the first few mns what the child is exposed to leaves a imprint on them and shapes their development. What makes no sense is that now they don’t seem like they’re guarded about it at all. Now that Suri is old enough to remember it and react, suddenly camera flashes don’t matter any more. What a switch from media shy to media hogs.

I guess the unnamed source is the Church of Scientology rep. I mean what better than free PR for their Church then Suri.
Unfortunately, if KH ever tries to leave or get dumped by TC, she will not get Suri so easily. I hope all the free shopping is worth it.
It makes me sick how KH has sold her kid for her own gain. KH is worse than those who are using Suri as well(TC and Scientology)!!
I thought MOM’S were supposed to protect their kid. Of course, KH probably thinks how cute it is that Suri has a mag. cover.

One of the directors at Paramount said he was glad they got rid of Cruise because he used his relationship with Katie and Suri to get press for himself. He said the movie premieres were always overshadowed by TC INTENTIONALLY throwing KH and then Suri in the press and overshadowing the movie premiere and the other actors in the movie. Sounds like what he has done with the Silence of Lambs movie…Suri on the front cover of US mag. and bringing the kid out to the premiere.
In other words, they got sick of Cruise using his family to keep the spotlight just on himself and using their movie as free PR for his family.
If you notice, no other celeb. plasters their kid in front of the media when they have premiere or even take the kid for a walk. Use Jolie and Pitt as an example. Shiloh stays home when there is a movie premiere. Also, Angie has told the press to kiss off, not pose in the case of KH with Suri, when they photograph the kids on family outings!!

The hypocrisy with tc is that their excuse is exactly what you said Joey, about the “imprint”….then where does suri make her public debut? At their media circus wedding with thousands of flash bulbs going off and jillions of people around. 2+2 never equals 4 with these freaks

Joey: I think the other reason they kept her out of the press for months after her birth is because they knew they could not get the money for the pics they wanted. They knew that no body Katie Holmes could not compete with Angelina Jolie and her baby with Brad Pitt. Suri is out more and sells more because Jolie-Pitt aren’t selling Shiloh or any of the kids to highest bidder the way TC and KH have sold Suri!!!
It was all about money with these two. Suri would sell more if they held off. Look at how fast the media forgot Suri in her first two weeks because everyone was more focused on Namibia where Jolie was giving birth.
