  Joey Potter all growed up! Too bad the show airs all the way in October, I’m sure the media will keep my posted and let me know what date to expect her on the show! For now, I will be looking forward to new episodes of Eli Stone on the abc.com website.

She does look like Joey Potter all growed-up, and I wish there would be a tv show to have her back to play Joey (all growed-up) and Tom would be a smokin’ Pacey, I think!!! They could be like Lucy and Desi , only not so funny.
  Eli Stone sounds like a great show if it wants Katie ( or Kate as Tom calls her) in it. She is one lucky girl to have that man.

Her mom was in some of the other pictures which probably also makes Katie happy too. I really hope this part works well for her. I know she is trying to do the movie thing but I am sure she would be welcomed back to tv anytime she wants a full time job..

  Lots of people have had very wonderful lucrative careers on tv. She garnered a lot of fans with DC. Because I believe Katie has a dream about the Broadway thing, I hope that is going to work out for her too.

  Con mom, glad you can see that Katie is not about to die. LOL. Every one has their days and sometimes paps just snap away when you are a celeb. You don’t have to look 100% all the time. It doesn’t mean you will be dying soon.These people are normal like us. Sometimes I look like crap for a week, especially when my boys were younger. I would walk around with bugs under my eyes and I didn’t care. It is tough being a celebrity, even these crappy moments are captured. She looks very nice, happy, vibrant and healthy.

  I want Katie to do some more movies. I don’t mind her on TV but I like her on the big screen.

  OMG! Katie looks so much better in these pictures!! Thank God. She looked horrible in yesterday’s. It’s nice to see her without the weird get up and the strange gloves!

  Gee….I wonder if she looks so much better because Tom actually let her go to work all by herself! Maybe she’s stressed out and tense when he’s around cause she certainly looks better when he’s NOT around!

  This is the Katie I knew and loved.

  Eli Stone is a pretty low rated show that was in danger of cancellation. They were renewed for the fall because the writers strike cut the season short. They were given a second chance which is why this is stunt casting in my opinion.

  I don’t blame Berlanti for wanting to have Katie on the show. He needs the ratings. But I don’t understand why Katie would do it. Is she that desperate? I think the whole thing is a bad idea. She should be doing quality films, not this.

  I think the show needs any publicity they can get. I mean , it isn’t just Katie Holmes appearance on the show. This guy is Angelina Jolie’s first husband, who is now her ex. What I am looking forward to seeing, besides Katie, is the chemistry of them and the newfound attention for Miller, the dude who was first married to Angelina Jolie. I want him to spill the beans on his relationship with Jolie and who left who! If the guy gets any popularity from this, he’ll be asked the juicy questions. I’ve caught up on episodes of Eli Stone at the abc.com website. The show is great so far, so I am really excited to see what Katie is gonna be like!

  This may be a win-win situation, of sorts. The show is about to tank so they need to generate some curiosity. Who better than the Cruises?

  And, as for Katie, it keeps her in the public eye. Let’s face it, the few people on these blogs are not going to make or break her. She needs to keep up her visibility. As they say, bad publicity is better than no publicity.

  “As we were talking about the beginning of the season, we really wanted to bring eyeballs to the show and do anything we could to get people talking about the show,” Berlanti said.
  “The guest-starring gig will also bring Holmes back to her roots in more ways than one, as it will reunite the erstwhile Joey Potter with her Dawson’s Creek executive producer Greg Berlanti, who currently works on Eli Stone.
  “I said I can go ask Katie and see if she’s interested and I went and I BEGGED her and she said, ‘I’d love to.’ She’s an attorney, not practicing law in the episode. She is in a significant portion of the scenes. She is singing and dancing, but we do want to keep some of it a secret.”

  There is no difference between the pics from the first day and these ones, besides her hair and baggy clothes. When they’re together she always looks happy and looks and holds her husband adoringly.

  Eli Stone was one of the best reviewed new shows of last years Fall season.
  ABC believes in the show. It has a dedicated following and hopefully it will find a larger audience.

  The 13 episodes from last season are superb.
  Berlanti asked Katie to appear on the show, he was one of the producers on DC. Even he acknowledges it was nice of her to say yes.

  The pictures of Katie with the black gloves etc are of her in her Eli Stone wardrobe…………Thought that would be obvious somehow.

  I’m excited, too, Jeli! I didn’t know Jonny Miller was Anjelina Jolie’s first husband! That knocks my socks off (just an expression because it’s too hot here to wear socks!)! Was he the one who was a drug addict at one time?
  Katie will make that show a super-hit, I bet!
  And Charlotte Rose, the black gloves are for her role in the show! Haha, it had me worried at first but someone else said it was for the role!
  That’s why I thought we could all have a Black Gloves Club to show our support for Katie and her tv show appearance!!! Maybe she will become a regular. Wouldn’t it be fine to see our Katie on tv again?

  How is it that you know that the gloves are part of her costume? Do you work on the set? I haven’t read anything that clearly states that anywhere so I assume that’s just your opinion. It may or may not be correct.

  Also, I have no more of an agenda here than you do. Does it bother you that I don’t share your opinion on everything? I’m sorry if that’s the case, but I think I’m entitled to my own opinions, aren’t I?

Lots of people don’t share your enjoyment of her. I see alot of negative comments regarding Katie all over the net. I’m not sure very many people see her as you guys do.   Katie was LEAVING THE SET. Getting into the car, right? So your statement that her clothing was for the show doesn’t really hold water. You can’t wear your costume home with you, Hana. The way you stated it so assertively, I thought you KNEW it was a costume. I didn’t realize it was just your opinion.

  I think we’ll have to agree to disagree on this as well…..atleast until the show airs at which time we can see if that schlumpy outfit is for the show or not! Time will tell!!

  LOL Well Charlotte, some of us are not as ‘enlightened’ as others. I never read anything about the wardrobe either and I surf all day..LOL There were a couple of pictures of her in this outfit above that she had her arms crossed like she was freezing.. I have a friend like that who wears sweaters in the summer. Go figure. I would think most people are probably shaking their heads and wondering about the gloves, however. That is just well strange. Love her hair and makeup-really, but the gloves. If someone say like Ang J had done this these people here would have been all over her like white on bread but they will apparently defend even a silly thing like these gloves if it is Katie. Remember the heels at that beach a while back? Ridiculous but here people were commenting on how cute that was. Mind-boggling.. I hope this show gets to air as its ratings aren’t all that good and the networks are pretty ruthless about here today and literally gone tomorrow if they don’t get what they want from it. I really think it would be a good entry back to a solid career for Katie if she wants it. This is a director that really likes her and I think they (whoever the powers that be are) would find a place for her hopefully in some smart saavy show.

  Why would she cover her hands if she had fake nails? Suri is not there for her to be concerned about poking her. You don’t have to answer all my questions, dear. Some of them are rhetorical questions anyway.

  I was also commenting on the odd outfit of black socks with heels and rolled up men’s jeans. I thought that was odd, but maybe that’s just the way she likes to dress on her downtime.

  Also I just saw a pic on Perez of her hands. The reason she is covering them is because they are discolored. I don’t know if it’s because something is wrong with her (I sincerely hope not) such as Reynauds syndrome OR if it’s something done for her role. We’ll see soon enough when the show airs, but I’m not going to ASSUME anything to make my point.

  Everyone here has done nothing but offer an opinion and speculation, whether its a fan or a non fan. Personally, I have not attacked another poster (not saying you have, dear) and I’ve restricted myself to opinion on two very public people….just like you and everyone else. I don’t see that as unkind in any way nor do I think anyone needs to take it personally.
