I would be freaked out if my fiance’s ex called me to tell me to marry him. Sounds so weird! Maybe Tom Cruise had a gun up to Nicole Kidman’s head during the conversation. hehe
Nicole Kidman has reportedly telephoned Katie Holmes to encourage her to go ahead with her wedding to Tom Cruise.
Nicole, who was married to the ‘Mission Impossible’ actor for ten years, made the call after hearing that Katie was nervous about walking down the aisle with Tom.
A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine: "Nicole has made sure that she has told Katie how pleased she is they’re getting married.
"She’s alleviated some of Katie’s worries about what it’s like being married to Tom and urged her to go ahead with the wedding. Nicole usually minds her own business, but she made an exception in this case."
‘Cold Mountain’ star Nicole got married herself this summer to country music star Keith Urban.
Former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress Katie - who gave birth to her and Tom’s first child, daughter Suri, in April - is said to be nervous about marrying the ‘Top Gun’ star as her devout Catholic parents do not approve of his Scientology beliefs.
The source added: "Nicole called Katie and they had a friendly chat, during which she said Tom had been a great, supportive husband for ten years and she shouldn’t listen to any gossip about him that suggests otherwise." Via Female First

Tom Cruise, though I feel he is an egotistical self-concerned maniac who’s sole goal in life is to become not only a star on the screen but a star in the world of family, the he knows little of how to achieve the latter, is definitely not a suitable choice for a husband. But I feel Katie Holmes victimizes HERSELF! Tom is trying really hard to make her happy and keep the family together. Since is older he has learned that what really matters is family and he’s trying to keep everyone close. He’s never been very successful in marriage other than his 10-year marriage to Nicole, which I have no clue as to why such a perfect couple had to split. I’m a big fan of Nicole which is why I have to badger and bitch about Tom Cruise. But if Nicole says Tom is a good husband then I’m not going to be the one to oppose her! Katie is young and still has the need to create high school drama in her life and make people feel sorry for her. She has reportedly said she love Tom and has had every opportunity to divorce him. Since she hasn’t the situation can’t be as bad as she make it out to be. Grow up Katie.
