New Mad Money Still Pictures
These new still shots from Katie Holmes’ new movie Mad Money are adorable. I love Katie with curly hair.
And it’s just over 2 weeks until the film is released. Do you have plans to see the movie on opening night?

Opening night, yah right! That movie has “rental” all over it. Check out this article about Tom being afraid to star in a movie w/ his buddy Will b/c he’es afraid of being upstaged!

Opening night? You’re joking? Wouldn’t waste my time or money to see anything with her in it. Calling her an actress is a slap in the face to real actresses. She got the role in this movie because she’s Tom’s beard.

I am not sure if it will even make rental in my book. I am a bit discriminating in what I watch. Besides, hasn’t this theme been done before.
Doesn’t surprise me that he is scared. He has to be the center of attention. I am sure he also realizes that Smith’s star is going up and his down.
Here is an article about Holmes and Suri. Diane Keaton had this to say about them in LADIES HOME JOURNAL:
About Suri Cruise: “Suri would come occasionally [to the set of Mad Money with Katie Holmes], and she’s this beautiful, compelling child. She’s very alive in the way that Tom is, and she’s seductive like Katie. Katie’s extremely seductive. I always feel like Katie pulls you to her.”
What has to gull KH is that this comment was directed towards Suri and not herself, who is Keaton’s co-star. I think even Kh knows why she is famous and her pic is even being taken!!
Also, this comment about Katie has been said before. Interesting that Keaton says that Suri gets her alive-ness from Cruise.

the company releasing the movie is……Starz….you know….the ghetto cable company. And to answer the question….yea…NO
And like I said before “seductive” to describe a person AND her toddler is just….ODD.
KH seductive???? Not from what I’ve seen in interviews. Child-like is more like it…..maybe that’s what DK really meant!!! She and suri are alike because kh is child-like?????

My girlfriend and I went to the movies yesterday. I know that I said I normally don’t go, but she wanted to see The Legend starring Will Smith. Well, I loved the movie until I realized that it was a remake of The Omega Man, starring Charlton Heston. And there were a lot of holes in the movie. In the beginning, the army blows up all the bridges so that New York City is shut off from the rest of the world. At the end of the movie, one of the characters and her son drive into NYC and then to Vermont. Did they take a ferry?

the story has been filmed twice already, namely as The Last Man on Earth in 1964 and the Charlton Heston-starrer The Omega Man.
Actually I Am Legend has been in development heck for about a decade or so by now. At one stage it was to be a Ridley Scott movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Reign of Fire and X-Files helmer Rob Bowman had a shot at the property at one stage too

I read the book. They didn’t follow it, and changed it quite a bit. Imagine: a cure for cancer turning people into vampires. It had some strong biblical overtones, which was rather interesting.

No, I definitely won’t be seeing Mad Money, although I totally adore Queen Latifha (Dana)! I do believe this was a very, very poor career choice for Katie. It would appear from the trailers we’ve seen so far that she plays a very stupid woman. Every interview we’ve seen her in (which are few and far between) see appears very stupid, vapid, and childlike. She needs to pick more grow-up roles and more intelligent roles. This will only further cement the public’s perception of her, that she’s simple, stupid, vapid, and completely controlled by that drone of a “husband” of hers. I mean alien of a “husband.” I guarantee that this movie will be the kiss of death for her professionally. Her career is over, especially as long as she is with icky/crazy guy TC.

I thought Kh’s parents went to CO. Honest Kh said her family would be there to celebrate. I guess her family does not include Connor and Bella and looks like her parents too. How much more shallow and a liar can she be?
Kh does have a new movie role, supposedly. She is playing a scientist in a thriller. Of course, like Tom, the only people hiring her now are Scientologists!!!
Didn’t Heston later come out of closet when he got AIDS??? Might be something with who is playing the roles in these movies.
In terms of I AM LEGEND, it is very rarely Hollyweird follows the plot of a story. I was disappointed with the short story. I think the author ended it too soon.
On Nicole: I am surprised if she is such a devout Catholic, why she would star in a movie (THE GOLDEN COMPASS) that is part of a series of books that makes the case to and does kill God. Seems contradictory, if you ask me. I doubt she is that devout Catholic.

Here is a question that I has been nibbling at me:
KH mentioned that she was in a movie (THE ICE STORM, I believe) when she was 17 years old in which she bears her breasts.
Now, as a parent who would probably go to see movies that their kid is in, how do you react to your teenage daughter, or even grown child for that matter, bearing their bodies for all to see or doing a s e x scene, especially knowing it was so young men would (uhhhhh…) ‘enjoy’ it?
I would be embarassed and angry at my kid!! Mostly embarassed!!

There was a movie where she shows her b o o b s…not the point I was trying to make.

Here is a frightening thought: Can you imagine Connor, Bella, and Suri seeing JERRY MAGUIRE with TC walking around in the buff?

Two things: One, JLo is doing the silent birth thing. So much for not being Sciento.
Two, enjoy the laugh about this one. I like the comment about TC wanting a son because the 11 year old male (Connor) in the house doesn’t count:

JLo is another one that is supposedly Catholic but has been exposed to Scientologist because her father has been a Scientologist for more than 20 years. And she is very good friends with that actress from that show Leina Reemes or something like that. This actress even resembles JLo a bit in her appearance. Leina is also a diehard Scientologist. I think in or to survive in Hollywood you have to be VERY open-minded because most of the people are bisexual or gay, antheist, etc. Once Sylvester Stallone was asked if he thought actors were worth the millions they make per movie and he said “Yes, because so much is stripped from your soul on your way up the ladder that you deserve the salary.”

The movie where she shows her b o o b s is “The Gift” with Keanu Reeves, Cate Blanchett and Hilary Swank. Great cast, odd film, but not bad.
I was bothered by the “Tom wants a son” comment too. He already has a son and another daughter besides Princess Perfect. The reason it really bothers me is that Connor and Bella are old enough to read all of this and it must be hurtful to them. Although I have heard $cienos aren’t allowed access to computers for fear they may hear the Xenu story before they reach OTIII, they must have some contact with the real world, like when they visit Nicole and Keith. It bothers me that there is a possibilty they could hear all this stuff being said and see all the publicity around Suri like they have been forgotten.
When TC and NK first adopted them, I thought “wow, lucky kids” but now my heart just breaks for them, being raised in a cult by a whack a s s father and being shunned for favor of his biological child (snark:). I feel terribly sorry for them cuz they are gonna need so much therapy when they get older and can think more for themselves.

Jan 5, 2008 at 8:50 am
TC has to say that he wants a son, in order to play along with the premise that Suri is really his. I don’t think that Connor and Bella are upset over the things that these two freaks do (TC and KH), because they know the real deal. They know that it’s hollyweird and that everything that is said or done is FAKE. Watching them is like watching a soap opera, like Days of Our Lives, or All My CHildren. Only this one is called, CSI - Cruise, Scientology and Insanity.

I’m thinking that the kids are now with Niclole. If I were her, I would have made an ultimatum with TC; either give me the kids or I will tell all. I would have done that ultimatum right around the time that it was announced that Morton’s tell-all book was coming out in Jan. Speaking of which, I read that the scientologists had threatened his and his family’s life, and he sold his house in London, and is currently in hiding. A lot of drama for something that is untrue, don’t you think? I’m anxioulsy awating the book’s debut.

Carla, I love reading biographies of famous people. Bing Crosby, at the time of his death left millions in his estate from his record sales, real estate in San Fernando, CA, and other parts of California, etc., he left one of his sons from his first marrigage $1.00 (one dollar). That particular son would not receive the remaining amount of his inheritance until he was 65 years old. Bing Cosby wanted to teach this son that he had to work to earn his keep.
Frank Sinatra also left stipulations in his will that if any of his heirs challenged his will and lost, they would forfeit their inhertitance and be awarded $1.00 And so I think Tom Cruise has done the same with Isabella and Connor. I doubt they will ever write a book about the “real Tom Cruise.” They will be disinheritated so fast your head will spin. Also, Nicole Kidman rarely talks about specifics of her marriage because she also signed an ironclad marriage contract that she cannot talk about their life, or Tom Cruise and I am sure the contract she signed is very detailed about a lot of things. The same goes for Mimi Rodgers, and Katie Holmes.
Another former girlfriend, Penelope Cruz only praises Tom Cruise because he also helped her career in America. She’s a big star in Spain and Europe but she was not well known in America until she made Vanilla Sky which is a remake of Abre Tus Ojos. She appeared in the Spanish version of Abre Tus Ojos and it was a big hit in Europe. She was his co-star in Vanilla Sky and he probably connected her to a lot of people here. Also, when they were dating her smile changed, she literally got all her teeth capped. There are before and after pictures where her smile changed for the better. I think Tom Cruise understands that “image” is everything in Hollywood. This is a money driven business. Beauty sells. People like to look at beautiful things. Yes, talent is important but like Goldie Hawn said in the movie “The First Wives Club,” beauty and youth, that’s the ticket.

You are right Carla, it is a pile of horse dung, especially considering how fast she got knocked up the first time.
Honestly, I don’t think Ms. Holmes cares about Bella, Connor and, to a certain extent, Suri, and what all this is doing to them. I mean, she has the golden position of producing the bio kid. It is not she who is on the receiving end of this crap and she gets unlimited shopping and mag. covers.
That is why when people talk about how caring KH is and how nice, I keep thinking about how cruel as a person she is to children in order to secure her position in life. And this is not the ‘because of Cruise’ thing. I think she was always like this, self-centered, and it is now coming out more fully.
I don’t care about which movie it was, I just want your opinions about how you or your husbands would handle your child being naked in a movie in order to arouse young teenage males/females. In other words, your child exploiting themselves as a s e x thing. I am sure her parents do go to see her films and being conservative Catholics, how do you guys think they would handle it?
I already said I would be embarassed.
Battlemama
Jan 5, 2008 at 12:19 pm
With Cruise’s attitudes, Bella and Connor may only get a $1.00 and the rest will go to Suri, the bio kid. If they only get a $1, then they can’t challenge the will.

I was trying to remember the scene you mentioned about in The Ice Storm, but I don’t recall her being nude in that movie. You maybe right though. I recollect it being a dark comedy about how the upper-class families in the suburbs who have everything, need to swing with their neighbors’ wives and husbands, in order to add spice to their perfert worlds. The parents don’t know that their teenage kids are having sex with each other, and their kids don’t know that their parents are having sex with each other.
Anyway, I would not, nor would their father want our kids to play nude or semi-nude scenes, for filming at the sake of hollywood. But that’s me. As for Katie, I believe that she may have come from a very conservative foundation, but she distanced herself from her family life, while she was in her teens. She traveled and spent vacations alone with her boyfriend Chris Klein and lived in her own apartment. She also smoked cigarettes heavily. I don’t know if she still does. I didn’t like her charcter that she played in Thank You For SMoking. I thought that it was distasteful the way she was rocking and rolling on the guys lap, having s e x . I felt that that cheapened her image, but that’s only my opinion.

As for the last will and testaments, if I had knowledge of some really creepy stuff, I would contract with a publishing company for multi-millions, then I would tell all. You know then, that it would be an instant best seller, and royalties would roll in. No, I don’t think that any of the people who are or have been involved with Cruise are worried about the money. I think they are worried about their lives. I think that it goes beyond any inheritance. They know the dealings of scientology, and they are probably, from what I read, equivalent to the mofia. They do hits, when the organization is deemed as threatened. Look at what has been written here - Katie’s mom would rather stay in Toledo, and knit sweaters with 26 women than be with her rebellious daughter who joined a cult. Think about it - it’s creepy and scary.

Carla, I agree with you that it is beyond the money but I think the money makes a person think about it twice. Once you open your mouth and spills the beans, you can’t take it back. It is misterious how that photographer that was blackmailing Tom Cruise stating he had stolen 1,000 pictures of their wedding and was going to publish them if they didn’t give him one million dollars ended up comitting suicide. That was scary to me.

The problem is that despite whatever issues they have with Mom and Dad, they will probably remain loyal to Nicole and Tom, not the ding bat KH. I am sure we may get the tell-all book about KH from Connor and Bella.
The problem with Sciento. is that Connor and Bella are being brainwashed at a young age to believe this crap. It is going to form the basis of their moral/ethical code as adults. Even if they do get away from Cruise, this will have a tremendous impact on them for the rest of their lives.
I have read where people who have been spoon-fed this as babies will cut off a parent because that is what they believe. I wonder if that is what has happened with Nicole and her kids: That they have cut her off to a certain extent because they are supposed to. I am sure Cruise has severely limited their contact with Mom. (Again, I not talking about the young ding bat in the home now.) I hope Katie is taking notes because I don’t think Daddy or the pre-nup will save her.
I still think Cruise will get out the pre-nup some how. It may be because there is no legal marriage there. I also think Cruise will take Suri away from KH.

This probably doesn’t pertain to this thread, but
OMG, I just watched Katie’s Letterman interview on YouTube (the infamous “dolphin” interview some of you were discussing on here recently) and it is every bit as awful as you guys said! For starters she is emaciated, her hair is stringy and in her face, and her posture is horrible. She is all hunched over for the entire interview, and you can tell she’s very insecure and nervous as she keep fidgeting with her hair and dress straps. She literally says nothing substantive, and that stupid dolphin story makes her look like a complete idiot. Apparently she’d been dating TC for 6 weeks at the time of the interview. I can’t imagine that he wasn’t mortified by her poor performance. Then again, he seems to like her flakey, shallow demeanor. That interview was so painful to watch that I didn’t finish it. THANKS to The Share and Care knitters, a group of 26 women who meet once a month throughout the year to knit or sew, many folks will be a bit warmer this season. The group gathered Dec. 6 at the Toledo Club for the annual holiday luncheon. That’s when they brought the more than 500 scarves and hats that they made to be donated to the homeless and battered women and children through community agencies, including Aurora House, Bethany House, Cherry Street Mission, and Sparrows Nest.
The items were made while visiting the homes of Geneva Rodgers, Phyllis Dressner, and Kathy Holmes, who serves as a master knitter with Rose Barone.

Of course Katie is an extreme disappointment in her parents’ lives. But, according to what I have read, she has been a renegade since becoming a teenager. I also read that she didn’t see them much, maybe every 6 months or so. That’s not close. So you see, she was living one type of lifestyle, and pretending to be another type, in order to propel an image that would be a favorable perception of her. Much like a politician, n’est pas?
Regarding the man who supposedly committed suicide, because he had tons of incriminating photos of TC’s sxientology wedding; it was reported that the man was too tall to hang himself from his shower. In other words, he was murdered, but the case is now closed. Andrew Morton is now in hiding. They are also after him. My question is; what is so damaging about these photos and writings that these people have to be tagets of a hit?

Here is the article:
“Claims that Tom Cruise is the second-in-command of the Church of Scientology and that some scientologists believe his daughter Suri is the product of a sperm donation from Scientology’s late founder L. Ron Hubbard are among the explosive charges author Andrew Morton alleges in his new book, “Tom Cruise, An Unauthorized Biography,” London’s Daily Mail reported Sunday.
The book, set for publication in the U.S. on Jan. 15, also claims that Cruise’s next mission is to recruit David and Victoria Beckham into the church, and that the church threatened to blackmail Nicole Kidman by revealing details of her sex life with Cruise if she spoke out about Scientology after their divorce.
Click here to read the full report in the Daily Mail.
According to the report, Morton writes in the book that Cruise’s extensive household staff are all scientologists vetted and hired by the church, and that Scientology’s leader David Miscavige ordered staff to plant a field of wildflowers at a Scientology base after Cruise confided in him his fantasy to run through a field of flowers with third wife Katie Holmes.
The book also alleges that Scientology officials exert enormous influence over Cruise’s personal relationships and career decisions, and says that although it is not officially stated anywhere, Cruise is the “de-facto” second-in-command of the Church of Scientology, number two behind Miscavige.
But the most shocking claim in the book, according to the Daily Mail, is Morton’s account of how Suri Cruise, Tom Cruise’s 20-month-old daughter with third wife Katie Holmes, was conceived. Morton compares Suri’s conception to the horror film “Rosemary’s Baby” and claims that members of a “fanatical’ sect of Scientologists known as “Sea Org.” believe Holmes was impregnated with a sperm donation from dead Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Cruise’s long-term attorney, the Hollywood power lawyer Bert Fields, vehemently denied the book’s claims, calling it a “pack of lies.”
“It’s a boring, poorly researched book by a man who never talked to anyone involved in Tom Cruise’s life or anyone close to him,” Fields told The Mail.
“There’s no real independent research. He hasn’t spoken to his mother, his sister, me, Paula Wagner [Cruise’s film producing partner], his agent, his wives, David Beckham, Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez or any of the famous directors he’s worked with. Instead you’ve got this long, boring reference to people he knew 30 years ago,” Fields said.
British author Andrew Morton is best known for his 1992 expose about Princess Diana. His unauthorized biography of Cruise is not being published in the United Kingdom, partly due to the U.K.’s strict libel laws, The Mail reported.”

Star’s fury over claims by Diana author Andrew Morton:
• Daughter by Katie Holmes “conceived like Rosemary’s Baby”
• Nicole Kidman “feared blackmail” over s e x tapes made with Scientologists
• Scientologists “planted meadown of flowers for Tom and Nicole to run through”
• Cruise’s next mission is to recruit David Beckham
Tom Cruise has become the de-facto second in command of the Church of Scientology, according to a new biography - which makes an extraordinary attack on the star by comparing his 20-month-old daughter Suri to the Devil’s child in the film Rosemary’s Baby.
Andrew Morton’s unauthorised biography claims Scientology has taken over the 45-year-old actor’s life, with its officials selecting many of the staff at his Hollywood mansion.
The biographer of Princess Diana alleges Cruise is consulted by Scientology leader David Miscavige on “every aspect of planning and policy” and is tailoring his career to fit the aims of Scientology.
Miscavige is said in the book to have gone to extraordinary lengths to charm Cruise, even ordering his staff to plant a field full of wild flowers at a Scientology base in California after Cruise had told him of his fantasy to run through a wildflower meadow with his then newlywed wife Nicole Kidman.
The relationship between the two men is so close that, according to Morton’s book, Miscavige even joined him on honeymoon in the Maldives after his wedding to Katie Holmes in 2006.
Cruise denies each of the claims vehemently, and Scientology lawyers are believed to be drawing up a lawsuit seeking £50million in compensation from Morton’s publishers, St Martin’s Press.
Cruise’s lawyer and close confidante Bert Fields gave a rare interview to The Mail on Sunday to pour scorn on Morton’s book, titled Tom Cruise: An Unauthorised Biography.
He criticised a passage in which Morton claims some “fanatical” Scientologists believed Suri Cruise was actually the result of a s p e r m donation by Scientology’s dead founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
Morton writes that Ms Holmes may feel she was in “the horror movie Rosemary’s Baby, in which an unsuspecting young woman is i mpregna ted with the Devil’s child”.
Mr Fields said: “It’s not being published in England. The American publishers criticised the libel laws in Britain because they require an author to tell the truth. Well, thank God for the British libel laws.”
Cruise will not be reading the book when it is published in the United States on January 15, Mr Fields said. “He has no intention of reading it. He’s very, very busy with a lot of things right now.
“He has been told about it and naturally he knows there are a bunch of lies about him. You can imagine what it must be like to have someone compare your baby girl to Rosemary’s Baby. Morton should be ashamed of himself.
“It’s a boring, poorly researched book by a man who never talked to anyone involved in Tom Cruise’s life or anyone close to him.
“There’s no real independent research. He hasn’t spoken to his mother, his sister, me, Paula Wagner [Cruise’s film producing partner], his agent, his wives, David Beckham, Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez or any of the famous directors he’s worked with. Instead you’ve got this long, boring reference to people he knew 30 years ago.”
Morton’s book paints a picture of a talented actor who tasted enormous success at a young age and then gradually became consumed by Scientology.
He recounts how the actor was born Thomas Cruise Mapother IV in 1962 and moved around North America with his parents, living in Ottawa, Canada, until the age of 12, when his mother Mary Lee left his abusive father.
Cruise excelled as a wrestler at school but took up acting seriously in his final years in high school when he was cast in a lead role for his school’s musical Guys And Dolls.
By the age of 21, he had starred in his breakthrough movie, Risky Business, and was in the Hollywood Brat Pack, hanging out with Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe and Sean Penn.
Three years later he had become a major star in Top Gun, and went on to star in Rain Man, Born On The Fourth Of July, Mission: Impossible, Jerry Maguire and Eyes Wide Shut.
His involvement in Scientology began in 1986 when he was recruited by his first wife Mimi Rogers, a Scientologist who gave him some literature on the subject.
L. Ron Hubbard, a science-fiction writer, created Scientology in 1954. Its followers have fought hard to have the system of beliefs recognised as a religion, and its central teaching is that life’s problems can be solved through a system of oneonone counselling called “auditing”, measured by an “E-meter”.
Courses can cost thousands, and critics make much of the doctrine of “Thetans” - alien spirits inhabiting human bodies who have to be flushed out.
Scientologists have also attracted criticism for the practice of “disconnect”, where followers are encouraged to cut off friends and family members who do not follow Scientology.
Morton claims Scientologists pursued Cruise as part of a campaign to recruit celebrities.
The author quotes former senior member Karen Pressley as saying: “A senior Scientology executive would be on the phone telling us that Emilio Estevez was staying in Malibu and that we had 48 hours to speak to him and get him in for an auditing session. There was so much heat and pressure on this it was outrageous.”
Cruise’s recruitment was a coup for his wife Mimi but when their marriage began to fail in 1990 the hierarchy sided with him, according to Morton.
He quotes a former Scientologist saying: “The impetus was to help Tom Cruise and within 24 hours they had agreed to split up.”
Morton says David Miscavige sought to rebuild Scientology’s reputation, battered by a fraud scandal in 1982.
He invited Cruise to his “desert lair” in 1989, a 500-acre resort in Hemet, 90 miles from Los Angeles, nicknamed “Gold Base”.
Miscavige lives there with Scientology’s most devoted followers called Sea Organisation or Sea Org.
Morton claims the base was surrounded by security cameras, with “secret plans to rig the perimeter with homemade explosives in case of attack”, as well as a “man-made eyrie where eagle-eyed guards with high-powered rifles fitted with telescopic sights scanned sunbaked California scrub for possible intruders”.
According to Morton, the followers were not treated well. Miscavige, he says, was followed everywhere by an entourage “who slavishly tape-recorded his every utterance”.
Scientologists say Gold Base is simply home to their film studios and production facilities where the organisation’s literature, videos and E-meters are made, and object strongly to Morton’s characterisation of Miscavige, saying it is based on testimony disproved in court.
When Cruise met Miscavige, the two men hit it off, Morton says. He quotes former Scientologist Jesse Prince as saying: “They were like glue, two little people who really enjoyed each other. They laughed the same and acted the same. They were like glove puppets, he was a big star and he was head of a religion.”
After Cruise fell in love with Nicole Kidman on the set of motor-race movie Days Of Thunder in 1990, Miscavige invited them to Gold Base, Morton says.
Miscavige indulged Cruise’s whims, ordering Sea Org workers to build a tennis court and gym to impress Cruise (facilities Scientologists say already existed).
According to Morton: “When Tom confided to the Scientology leader about the couple’s fantasy of running through a meadow of wild flowers together, his friend apparently decided to make his dream come true.
“A team of 20 Sea Org disciples was set to work digging, hoeing, and planting wheat grass and wildflower seed near the Cruises’ bungalow.
“Naturally the work was regularly inspected by David and Shelley Miscavige [his wife], who would ride over to the site on his motorbike. They were apparently unhappy with the finished appearance and had the area ploughed over and reseeded.”
Although Scientologists deny the wildflower planting ever happened, Morton claims to have legal affidavits from several witnesses.
Morton says the indulgences came with a price, that Scientology took over the Cruises’ new home in Los Angeles where Tom employed “a plethora of nannies, chefs, gardeners, housekeepers, and security staff.
“It was said that many were Scientologists who were carefully vetted by Scientology officials, the procedure often taking months in order to find a suitable candidate with the right background and attitude to work for Scientology’s poster boy.
“Candidates would be interviewed on videotape by a Scientology executive before being approved. A Scientology executive later dismissed the claim as ‘preposterous’.”
Scientology executives contributed to the failure of Cruise’s marriage to Kidman, Morton implies.
The author says that Cruise was asked in 1999 to do a “Potential Trouble Source/Suppressive Person course…designed to anchor an individual’s faith while pinpointing those in his life who create problems”.
Morton claims Scientologists were worried that Kidman might be a problem because her father was a psychologist - “which automatically made her a Potential Trouble Source” - and she had given an interview emphasising her roots as a Catholic.
“The fear was that a lukewarm Nicole could fatally compromise Tom’s commitment to his faith,” Morton writes.
“Somehow Tom had to be inoculated against the virus of doubt.
“The surefire cure for scepticism was the Potential Trouble Source/ Suppressive Person course, which reinforced wavering Scientologists’ loyalty while making them more suspicious of those around them who were not members of the faith.”
When Cruise decided to leave Nicole in 2000, she was worried that she might not be able to see the two children the couple had adopted.
Morton quotes a former highranking Scientologist claiming he received a call from Kidman’s lawyer Bill Beslow: “At this point Nicole hated Scientology but was concerned for the kids.
“She did not want to ruin her relationship with them. I told the lawyer if she wants to stay with the children she will have to be quiet and not speak out about Scientology.”
In particular, Morton claims she was worried about her “audit” tapes, which contained details of her s e x life and which she feared might be leaked if she spoke out.
Morton recounts allegations that “auditing” focuses on the subject’s s e x life.
He quotes Hubbard’s son, Ronald De Wolf, who fell out with his father, giving a Play boy interview: “You have complete control of someone if you have every detail of his s e x life and fantasy life on record. In Scientology the focus is on s e x. S e x, s e x, s e x.
“The first thing we wanted to know about someone we were auditing was his s e x u a l deviations. All you’ve got to do is find a person’s kinks, whatever they might be.
“Their dreams and their fantasies. Then you can fit a ring through their noses and take them anywhere. You promise to fulfil their fantasies or you threaten to expose them.”
Morton says Karen Pressley was at Gold Base one evening when John Travolta’s s e x u a l i t y was openly discussed.
He writes: “‘It made my head spin,’ she recalls, ‘and made me realise that the idea of confidentiality was a chimera.’ As another Scientology executive admitted bluntly, ‘These files come in handy if they want to blackmail you’.”
Cruise’s attempts at new relationships, with actresses Penelope Cruz and Sofia Vergara, did not work out.
Morton claims Cruz’s father Eduardo “was concerned that his famous daughter could be drawn into what he considered a cult - and, like so many others, be lost to him and his family for ever.
“Eventually he emailed an organisation devoted to helping cult members and their families. It was only after a long exchange of correspondence that officials realised they were dealing with Penelope Cruz’s father.”
Cruise’s shorter-lived relationship with Vergara included a visit to the Scientologists’ Celebrity Centre in California.
Morton claims: “It was on this trip that Sofia realised Tom was never alone. Everywhere he went, he was surrounded by Scientologists. They were at his home, they were in his car, they were at the restaurant. They were never short of smiles, but she found them ‘powerful and authoritarian’.
“One friend told me, ‘She met his children, there is no doubt he was auditioning her for the part of his wife.’ Sofia told friends she had been deliberately targeted not only as a possible bride for Tom, but as a high-profile Scientology recruit who would be an alluring figurehead for a future recruitment drive in Latin America.”
Cruise’s lawyer Bert Fields described the allegation as “ridiculous”.
Morton claims that as Cruise has moved higher up the echelons of the Church of Scientology he has made more and more decisions about his life and career to simply promote his religion.
The author says Germany’s population of 80million made it a perfect “new market” for Scientology, although the church is not recognised officially as a religion there.
“David Miscavige and his lieutenants were in Scientology’s war room at Hemet, planning the invasion of Germany. From time to time they were joined in their desert bunker by Tom, who these days is the organisation’s second-in-command in all but name, involved in every aspect of planning and policy.”
Morton says Cruise’s current mission is to recruit David and Victoria Beckham. The actor invited Miscavige to a Real Madrid game back in 2004 and held a celebrity party for the couple when they moved to Los Angeles.
Of the bizarre beliefs Morton ascribes to some Scientologists about Cruise’s third wife, Katie Holmes, whom the actor married in a whirlwind romance, the author says, incredibly: “Some Sea Org fanatics even wondered if the actress had been i m p r e g n a t e d with Hubbard’s frozen s p e r m.
“In her more reflective moments, Katie might have felt as if she were in the middle of a real-life version of the horror movie Rosemary’s Baby, in which an unsuspecting young woman is i m pr eg n ate d with the Devil’s child.”
Mr Fields described the passage as “sick and bizarre”.
“It’s a pack of lies,” he said. “The book suggests Scientologists somehow run his career. I’ve represented him for over 20 years and I’ve never discussed his business with David Miscavige. It’s poorly researched and badly written, and it’s not really even about Tom Cruise - it’s an attack on Scientology.”
The Church of Scientology is incensed about a series of allegations Morton makes about Miscavige, who took over from the religion’s founder L. Ron Hubbard at the age of 26.
Elliot Abelson, general counsel for the Church of Scientology, said of Morton: “We tried to contact him to co-operate, to give him the truth, to give him a tour. I received nothing.
“This was a pre-ordained mission to trash Tom Cruise. He didn’t ask to speak to David Miscavige and wrote some horrible things about him which are totally untrue. No one has ever made complaints of that kind.”
Mr Abelson denied the actor was “second in command”.
“He is a parishioner, a well respected parishioner, but that’s what he is. The only person who runs the Church and makes policy decisions is David Miscavige.”
Mr Abelson said no decision had been taken about legal action but he added that Scientologists may sue in Britain if the book is distributed here.
“It isn’t too late for St Martin’s Press to pull this book,” he said.

What is interesting about both articles, is that in both articles the Scient. are more concerned with TC’s and Scientology’s reputation, than KH for being a willing participant in all this fraud. It really makes her look bad. In fact, Morton doesn’t even imply that she was brainwashed, just another willing participant.
Well, I hope she enjoys the money and fame because, true or false, this will tarnish her reputation for going along with the charade.

This article is very interesting and could even be true. I would not be surprised. It would be a case of life imitating art (Rosemary’s Baby) with Ron Hubbard being the sperm inseminated into Katie. And just like the Scientoloigst movement had to pick between Mimi Rodgers or Tom Cruise, they chose Tom Cruise because he can bring in more $$$ and members. If they have to choose between Cruise or Holmes there is no doubt they will protect Cruise at any cost. This is a scary cult. A lot of people that leave the cult actually become suicidal. I think they prey on lonely people and sometimes celebrities are lonely people because your people isolate you from the masses.
Every day life is not always easy but I would not trade places with Katie Holmes for nothing! Good luck to Suri, Connor, and Isabella. They are the victims here because they did not choose their parents.

there is a guy named Andre Tabayoyon who did the project design and base security for Gold Base, and it backs up everything morton says about that place. They have assault rifles shotguns and pistols and none of them are registered. They also have an insane security system…ground sensors, motion sensors, video cameras, michraphones everywhere. Even at the COS in L.A there are cameras all over that film everyone that walks by the center!!!!!
Why the H E LL is the case closed on the guy who was trying to extort money from them and was killed?????
