In these new pictures of Katie Holmes leaving Joan’s restaurant she’s looking almost pregnant.  Not that I want to spread the usual TomKat baby rumors but she really does look like she has a bump.  Or could it just be the wind under her jacket?

    Katie looks depressed to me. I think NOW the reality of the life she is in has hit home. What a difference two weeks make in a person’s life. I mean look at this link when they are in New York. Yes, I know she was getting ready to promote her movie Mad Money and was probably thinking that it was gonna be a great hit and then a bit fashion label, topped by a new movie and maybe a baby, etc. But none of it panned out and the writer’s strike isn’t helping the situation. I think this Katie will probably become depressed when Dark Knight is released and it becomes a huge hit. People for sure will see it at least for the reason that Heath Ledger is in it.

    Its hard to find a great/good role in Hollywood and when those roles come knocking you have to take them because they don’t always come around.

    This is what I find so hypocritical about Hollywood.
    You see Britney Spears driving around to gas stations, Starbucks, etc. with a pack of photographers that resemble a pack of dogs but no one does anything about it. Finally her family had some kind of intervention and she is now at UCLA.

    Then you Katie Holmes get involved with Tom Cruise and then this Scientology cult, then hear Cruise rant about Scientology all the while they have this little cute daughter Suri, and Isabella, and Connor and you know they will be raised in a radical manner and you really can’t do anything about it.

    Heath Ledger just died and in recent award shows like the SAG you hear actors give tributes to Heath Ledger, etc. But NO ONE tried to help him get off drugs. Now there is a video making the rounds of him snorting cocaine and other drugs. But no one tried to stop him. No wonder Naomi Watts and Michelle Williams broke up with him. Hollywood just watches as celebrities wreck their lives and IF its fashionable then they make tirbutes to you AFTER your dead. If you lose favor with the public Hollywood will also disown you and avoid you like the plague. That is what Katie and Tom will begin to feel. I don’t care how much Jerry Seifeld, Adam Sandler, or John Travolta make statements to the contrary. If they don’t watch it they’ll also turn off the public.

    Boy, remember when Katie was photographed in this purple blouse. At first we didn’t know where she was coming from and it turned out it she had just filmed promotional interviews for Mad Money. She looks shiny, happy, excited and unbeknowth to the public she was about to fly to New York City with Cruise and Suri and dress to nines, go on popular morning shows and then the David Letterman Show. She probably was dreaming that this movie would be a great hit, etc. Two weeks later all of those feelings gone…

    Ng, I agree with your statements. My how things can change in just a few weeks!! Leaving through the “back door” would not have been her style just a few weeks ago. Yeah, I guess if my movie career was, let’s say “nonexistent” at this point and my husband acts like he needs to be committed. Shoot, I would be kind of down.

    Also, in this article it mentions Katie Holmes as one of the ones who called ET and requested that they not air the video. Granted, she probably did it for publicity reasons to be lilnked with the others who were asked to call.
    And, can Katie sink any lower? She is really a media whore- she knows wearing that jacket will cause speculation and she wants to linked with the pregnant in-crowd. The question is: who gives her advice on dressing when she goes out?

    IMO: The skinnier Katie gets the worse she looks. I thought she looked cute at the size she was in Telluride after having Suri. But of course, that is considered “fat” by Hollywood standards. She has no waist and no chest. The more weight she loses, the more she looks like a boy. At least VB has boobs (albeit fake ones) and curvy legs. I wish Katie would stay away from the tight skinny jeans–uuggh. She looks pretty good in long evening gowns, but not strapless ones. Oh, and high heels look good but she needs to practice her walk. Just my personal observations.

    Just looked at the list of AskMen.com’s 99 Most Desirable Women—hmm, KH didn’t make the list, but some of TC’s other girls from the infamous “girlfriend list” were there: Scarlett Johanssen, Jessica Alba, “La Lohan”, etc. Even Penelope Cruz. No Katie. Guess you don’t need bodyguards, KH. No one wants to steal you away from TC. Maybe we ought to thank YOU for taking him. LOL!

    Other than the comments about Suri’s paternity, when has Katie been asked about the Morton book or psycho TC addressing (worshipping) Hubbard and speaking Scientologiese?

    I saw an article that said Katie was trying to ‘handle with grace’ the questions the press was asking her, but she is having trouble doing that now. I missed the press asking her these questions.

    I suppose it is easy to have your manager call ET to log-in your protest about the Heath Ledger show. I wish the media would just back off on this one. Let this family have some peace in order to grieve.

    I think Hollywierd doesn’t say anything about the drug abuse because they want everything to be okay. We can’t have anything resembling those nasty morals there. In fact, unless your famous, you really can’t have or discuss morals because those are wrong. You want to worship in cults and scream like nut at pictures-OKAY! You want to drive drunk at age 20 years–OKAY! You want to sleep around–OKAY!! You want to get high–OKAY!! You want to wander around without panties–OKAY!! You want to exploit your kid–OKAY!!
    Unfortunately, the rest of our society is following suit.

    Wonder if this is truth or just a previous story revamped for today. Given things recently, I would believe it. I doubt it was a spat with TC that triggered it though unless it has to do with him failing to make her beloved by all the masses. Though I doubt he is too concern if he is shrugging his sholders at it. I wonder if she returns these things or if she has a shed in the back yard to chuck all that crap into.:

    This is a form of a breakdown. Since katie can’t use any drugs (that we know of) to calm her down or make her feel happy, she has to resort to ridiulous spending. But then, her 5 of these and 6 of those might be equivalent to a payback to the man of her life. Get ready to hang on, Katie. You are going down that slope really fast. Cushion your face, so you won’t bump it too hard. You bruise easily.

    Carla: Sometimes it is good to feel to bad. It is our conscious’ way of saying “You screwed up and you need to repair this.”

    The problem with Hollyweird is that they want to do away with that healthy guilt for wrong doing and say everything is fine. Then you get people taking drugs, shopping, etc. to get rid of the healthy guilt they should be feeling and to justify why their bad behavior is okay rather than fix the original problem.

    Someone brought up something that Stallone said about being paid so much because you have to sell your soul in the business. Well, unfortunately money can not buy away the bad feelings. It is a sad situation, but it is partly self created and partly the business who created it. It is more the self who did it. These people had the choice and they are all paying a terrible price for the glamor and glitz. Unfortunately, so are their children.

    A few thoughts after my moment of compassion for Queen Katie:

    1) I think Klein leaked this story to make himself not look like a deadbeat dad. Also, I think he looks just as bad as Katie, if he was in agreement with the abortion. Although with laws today, Katie could have done it on her own without his consent.

    2) There must be some truth to it because Cruise has sued of lesser things said about himself. Of course, his legal money may not be used for defending his wife and her past.

    3) I guess we can see why Katie wants to prove so desperately she is a good mother to Suri. She is trying to assauge her own guilt for murdering her own baby. Good luck on that one, babe!! Whatever do to make it to Suri will never change what you did to that other innocent life.

    4) It also makes sense why Klein dumped Katie–she sucked his kid into a sink for her own convience (spelling?). I guess she realized TC was better person to have a kid for–he had more money than Klein. Yes, she is a money grubber.

    I hope it was just something made-up.
    Can you even start to imagine a child as cute and precious as Suri flushed down to the drain simply because it came at wrong time with wrong person?
    No wonder she needs to shop like crazy.

    This latest revelation about chris klein, makes the speculation that suri is not TC’s kid more believeable. After she left klein, she had sex with Josh H., got pregnant again, and TC came onto the scene just in time.

    Only now, since she is married to a gay man, who lives on the other side of the mansion, away from Katie, and who doesn’t desire her, she can’t have any children with him.

    It really makes more sense. Suri would have been another mistake, but TC seized the opportunity to marry a woman with child.

    We have to give credit, where credit is due: TC saved her child, had her get cosmetic surgery on her nose, eyes, mouth and ears. Her teeth are straightened, and she has an endless use of the credit cards. He made her rich and famous and her kid, too. SO, TC is really a good guy here, considering that Katie was a charity case.

    Carla: I know you are being funny but I don’t see Katie as coming out of this winning. She got Cruise as he is on the downward slope and most likely will take her with him.

    I can see how they thought all of this was gonna play out: Lions for Lambs a hit, then Mad Money a hit, then a baby clothes line and Suri (a sure hit) was the baby model for the clothes, they would be the most popular couple on the planet. They would look like the perfect family. And they definitley would not have minded putting Suri out front and center (she’ll get used to the flashes and with time they would have custom made Suri her own RayBan sunglasses), etc. The problem was that all of these projects BOMBED. One bomb after another bomb, after another…

    I bet that is why Katie looks bummed out. She does not look like the Katie we saw just two weeks ago. She looks like she didn’t even feel like getting dressed up and had no energy to put on her make-up get her hair styled, etc.

    It’s just all so very sad. I have a memory of a very distraught Princess Diana coming out of her Girlfriend Carolyn Barhtolemews house, the day before Morton’s book was published, and while it ended up being a novel of truth, Katie’s sad face reminds me of that day in Princess Di’s life. :-(

    Something else I wouldl like to add in Katie’s defense. While I do not believe CK is the father of Suri, the fact that IF it is true that Katie terminated a baby with CK, it must be devastating to have such personal details leaked to the press. Right or wrong, famous or not, we all are entitled to our private pain and suffering, due to any action which may result in public consequences. I hope whatever ” higher” power Katie turns too, Catholic or not, she will find peace during what is probably the reason for her depressed look.

    Morton’s timeline states the following:

    March 2005 - Katie & CK date for years then breakup

    March 2005 - Cruise is dating Sofia Vergara.

    April 2005 - Sofia breaks away from Cruise and goes into hiding. She doesn’t want to bruise his
    massive ego. He’s thinking if I marry Sofia I will also target South America and Mexico as possible Scientology converts.

    April 2005 - Katie and Tom begin to date. A few weeks later she signs that Scientology agreement stating that if she ever needs medical attention it she will follow COS guidelines. A few weeks later she is engaged.

    June 2005 - They announce they are getting married and are with child.

    April 18 2006 - The official date given that Suri Cruise is born.

    Nov 18, 2006 - Katie & Cruise wed in Italy.

    Yes, I remember that picture of Princess Diana leaving her friend’s house knowing that the next day the world was gonna be reading and hearing in some cases her confessions regarding the House of Winsor. But that is also the price you pay for celebrity. They are entitled to privacy because of their craft, the movie they are putting out there for the paying public to watch. But what you see in Katie’s case is a SHAM. Someone trying to pull the rug over the public because its not just an image they are trying to project.

    It is what they are TRYING to get people to buy into that is the problem. Cruise and the Church of Scientology is trying to project that they are the perfect couple (not fat), they are wealthy, happy, take no drugs, no alcholol, etc. and all of this is thanks to Scientology. That is the problem they are trying to ADD their success to Scientology when that is a complete lie. Cruise is probably sterile or gay but does NOT try to address this. Instead he remarries and TRY to project that he is the biologicial father of Suri.

    If Scientology is the cure for all, why hasn’t John Travolta helped his son JETT cure his autism?

    Why doesn’t Kristie Alley know how to CONTROL her emotions and stop over eating and stop on this yo yo diet she is on for years.

    Why is Juliette Lewis’ career go down the toliet? She is now in this hard rock bank and looks like she’s on druges.

    Why did Tom Cruise say you can be Catholic and still be a Scientologist? That is a COMPLETE LIE.
    However, he said this to convert Catholics, Jews, and muslins. Will Smith also made a similiar comment. WS is lost and has sold his soul for what? He is already wealthy.

    But Katie brought all of this on to her myself. The one I feel for is her daughter Suri.

    Katie bugs the fool out of me because she is a vapid unintelligent materialistic bimbo without any morals. However, when I stop and think about it, I pity her greatly because Tom is undoubtedly a horribly controlling, impulsive, critical, and quick-to-anger husband. I bet he is verbally abusive to her (and eventually to Suri) and feels like he has to put her down constantly to feel better about his gay, short self. And then he acts all lovey-dovey towards her in public. Sickening. When you watch an interview with him, you see a glimpse of his maniacal side and it’s scary. Katie must be miserable. And, as somebody pointed out on this site recently, she certainly isn’t allowed any anti-depressants to take the edge off. Yes, she brought this ridiculous and pitiful life on herself, but it’s easy to see how a young girl could get swept off her feet by a movie star and then find herself very depressed in a life she didn’t picture for herself at all. She’s probably terrified to get pregnant and put all that weight back on. Remember how chunky she was right after Suri was born (which of course is totally normal)? I bet Tom had her on a strict regime to slim back down in no time. I bet she dreads losing her figure again, even though the media whore in her will relish the spotlight again. She also probably lives in dread of being traded in for a younger wife some day. WHen you stop and think about it, most celebrity women are free to drive around and do what they want. But I have never seen pictures of Katie driving or doing anything without a staff closeby. Pathetic. She’s a kept woman. What a miserable existence Katie has. And by extension, Suri.

    GaPeach: I agree. I have a decent job, post graduate work under my belt, I live a normal, decent life, I love my family very, very much. We don’t always agree on things but we stick together through the good and hard times.
    I really cannot complain.

    When I write here or read this, I find the entertainment industry fascinating because it is selling an illusion. The reality is people love to see beautiful things, artistically put together movies, songs, plays. But it is quite another thing to bring that “art” and incorporate it into a life that is a sham. Not only a sham but the last connecting trail, to lead you to believe it is all thanks to scientology.

    You could not buy me all the Berkin bags in the world to trade in my faith. They, COS and Cruise are selling an image and the entertainment world is their best forum to do this in because it is an illusion.

    I once worked near Beverly Hills and decided to pass by the famous Ivy restaurant on Robertson. Most of the women that I saw there were a size 0 or 2. Movies and television makes one look 10 pounds heavier, the new HD plasma reveals every pore, wrinkle, on your face and body. It is an image conscious industry. The problem is that you can’t lost that beauty or youth. Few remain standing after they pass their 40s or 50s. Only the REAL TALENTED past the test of time.
    Katie is NOT in that leaque.

    Look at Britney Spears, she is not that talented but came to make millions of dollars. She could retire and live comfortably for the rest of her life but it doesn’t look like she will. I hope I am wrong.

    Look at Lindsy Lohan. She is trying to get her act together but I bet these past weeks she is realizing that there is a crop of new young starlets out and about that can easily bump her over.

    Poor Paris Hilton. What can you say? She comes from a supposdely wealthy family and that’ s what made her special. Only now that $$$ been reduced to a few millions. I bet 1-2 years from now she will no longer be newsworthy.
    The same goes for Jessica and Ashleigh Simpson. Both girls were pretty and young but that only carries you so far. Their talent is limited and I believe the public has moved on. But they should be happy they made the $$$ that they did.
    I bet Mandy Moore, Hillary Duff, will be around for several years because they’re talented.

    NOt that it matters, really. I never said I read or heard that rumor was in Morton’s book. I am just talking about how Katie remided me of Di from that incident. I don’t know where I read about the possible CK pregnancy termination rumor, probably here !! BUt thanks for the clarification NG..you are always right on it!! :-)

    and I think the HARDEST thing about fame is when “your type” is NOT in demand anymore. When the photographers no longer pursue you. When the years pass and there are no movies can rent or say wow there is such and such in his/her prime.”

    If you look at movies like Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn, a funny compelling movie made in the 60’s and still interesting and funny today.

    If you look at 1960’s Judgement at Nurenberg with Maximiulm Schell and Spencer Tracy and a lot of other great actors, you can see actors in their acting glory. Maxiumuil is exquisiting HANDSOME in this movie. Wow!

    If you look at 1972’s The Godfather I, and II, you see the great Marlon Brando, James Caan, Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, all wonderful, great actors taking you through the Corleone family saga. Excellent movie.

    There are many others: Gone with the Wind, Star Wars, Paper Moon, The Greatest Story Ever Told, etc., I mean excellent movies. Its hard to find actors and movies like that today. Everything is fluff. Few of these actors bring to mind the idea that you even want to remember them down the road. Movies have gone from substance to fluff. Actors have gone from substance to fluff. Something has changed. But the hardest thing for the likes of Lindsy Lohan, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, is when the PRESS stops seeking them out. That will be too much for them to handle. The same goes for Tom Cruise because you can tell he has a BIG EGO.

    Tom Cruise should buy those license plates brackets that say “NO FAT CHICKS.” Because its all illusion for this guy and you can tell he wants everything to like pretty and nice. I bet Suri is on a strict diet. So strict they can’t take her bottle of barley away from her especially since she might throw a TANTRUM in public and the photographers will be snapping away removing the image of well behaved child from perfect, wise, good looking parents who are very happy and rich with no problems because they are constantly audited and cleared.

    And this other one on numerology, I have never tried numerology but I think what it says about Suri going into the entertainment business is true. That is why they are exposing her early in life. Scienotlogists like the entertainment business because it is a money making industry. You can make more money than you imagined, BUT you can fall faster than you imagined. And money does weird things to people.

    Exactly NG!! Also, Katie is certainly doing her part to ‘promote Suri’ in the press. So, she can boober about the COS all she wants, but she is MOM.

    I am sure she also saw Nicole being cut off before the wedding. So I doubt she is THAT innocent. She has contributed to those kids being cut-off from their Mom as well and the myth that she is their mother now!!

    and if last weeks’ Ok magazine issue is correct, it says that Katie was planning to launch a baby fashion label. It states that the outfit Suri wore to Paris (the one with the polka dots and navy blue top with white sweater) was designed or made by Katie. It makes sense that this is WHY Katie went to Paris and walked and walked (even though she fell and bruised her knee) but this explains why she allowed herself and Suri to be photographed. She was trying to get as much EXPOSURE as possible because she knew she was planning a baby fashion line and getting people “hooked” on Suri’s image was key because Suri was probably gonna be her fashion label’s muse.

    That explains all the planned events with Suri well dresses: The park, zoo, bakery in Germany, the famous walk around Tiergarten Square in Berlin, the extra exposure of Suri in Paris before and after Katie fell on her knees literally. All of these events were planned to get the public ready for the future launch of a baby line. Surely she thought all of this would be riding on her hit Mad Money and Cruise’ Lions for Lambs. I can imagine their inner circle encouraging them with compliments, etc. The COS dreaming that Suri would lead little kids to this cult.

    All of this did not pan out. I think COS, Cruise, and Katie are all manipulative. They are experts at this. The innocent ones here are Suri, Connor, and Isabella. The public luckily got an eye ful of the manic Cruise via that YOUTUBE video.

    Holy Cat Stevens, that Sofia Vergara is HOT, HOT, HOT! I just saw a picture of her for the first time. Yes, I apparently have been living under a rock. Katie is pretty, but I reiterate, Holy Cat Stevens, Sofia is BEAUTIFUL and WOMANLY. Katie looks like somebody’s mom. Well, I guess she is Suri’s mom, but you all know what I mean. Katie just is not even remotely interesting (actually very boring). I’ve been wondering lately, too, why didn’t Tom Cruise just pick a woman who was ALREADY INSIDE SCIENTOLOGY?! Why does he feel the need to convert people into his cult. I guess we all know it’s about “image” and not “religion.” God, what a creeep! Katie, you’re definitely no Sophia! Does Katie even have boobies?!

    New York, I saw the pics of Sophia too. There is no comparing her body and curves to Katie’s. When Tommy boy couldn’t get Sophia, he definitely SETTLED with Katie.

    I disagree with y’all. The boobs are actually deal breaker. Look at Nicole, the woman TC spent 10 years together, no much curve for she either. TC may have issues with boobs, some men do, like Charles Dickens. Also I am thinking TC maybe intimated by curvy women, due to, if not his closeted orientation or a suppressed bringing up.
