I was wondering how they would avoid the one-year-old Suri birthday issue. That kid is way older than just one. Brooke held a birthday party for her daughter, but no one talks about any birthday party for Suri. Her haircut looks a little better, but they still hide her forehead and sides with bangs.

And, why is TC carrying both Suri and the presents? She seems to be content in TC’s arms, but always seems to be uneasy in KH arms. Even when KH tries to get the baby’s attention, she ignores KH. The mother is treated likes a stranger by the baby. Does anyone else see this?

Hi Carla, I didn’t want to say it, but I’m glad you brought this issue out. I know children develope at different ages, but there is no WAY that that kid JUST turned one. Personally, I think they didn’t make a big deal of her birthday on April 18th because that’s not her birthday. I have kids and have seen many babies. Believe me, that child is some months over one year.

Once again i blame st John hospital for not responding to this issue that day, when the news broke she was born in their hospital, and also Maria Shriver talking about this birth. Carla, how did you know they didn’t celebrate her birthday? And the only reason we know about Brooke celebrating her daughter birthday was because Tomkat and Suri were photographed going to the party. Plus Brooke herself was asked if she was going to celebrate her daughter’s birthday with Suri and she said “I think they’re going to be away for her birthday. So maybe it will happen after they get back.” So they are back and they celebrated on Saturday 21 of April NOT on 18th.

Sasha, I totally agree with you can you Imagen all the people who have to be involved to keep this a secret. Either some people don’t think outside the box and use common sense OR people like Clara are just using that as an insult to Tomkat and they don’t really think she is older than they say…I mean apart from few people do you know any other person who are so dimwitted as to think Suri is older than what she is. It is understandable if you joke and laugh about it, to actually believe it is utter, undiluted stupidity.
To carry out such a scam you not only lie to us (we do not matter anyway) but you lie to the hospital, your family, your in-laws, cousins, Aunties and Uncles etc and though as Adults they may agree to be involved, what about young kids like Connor, Bella, their nephews and nieces, you are forcing them to lie to their friends. Imagine having to tell young kids to lie about a sibling for the rest of their lives. Connor missed a game the weekend Suri was born, so if this is a scam, they are an active part of it and I do not see Tom doing that.
For all his problems, he is a very honest person and would never force such a burden onto kids. In fact nobody can, apart from the originators of these theories. And do not forget the hospital that day Suri was born. It was was all over the news , St John hospital could have issue a statement and said it is not true and do not forget Maria Shriver talking about the birth since the ward bear her name. A lot of people are in this conspiracy.
Clara if anyone of these people who you think might be paid to keep it a secret will eventually get paid double what they get by the world media if they ever decided to talk about it and no one will be able to keep this a secret for too long because its really BIG! And I don’t think any hospital will participate in such questionable activities, or benefit from them, its unethical and they can get sued keeping something like this from the public.

Suri’s birthday was well remembered on all news net works including CNN and was even on Yahoos today in history. Not amny talked about Grier though but I guess there is only one Tom Cruise!!!! In this world, money talks and I believe that certain people were bought out. What’s ethical today? And who would want to sue St. John’s hospital for misleading birth records? No one really cares that much, to that extent. I also believe that after this year, the Suri publicity will die down to the point where no one will really care about the date when Suri was born. I do believe that the discrepancy in the birth date has something to do with protecting KH’s public image. After the kid is a few years old, it won’t matter much.
I don’t know much about the Maria Shriver thing, except that she had her three kids at her donated hospital wing. I guess that maybe she was commenting on what she heard from the press. She and her husband Arnnold have been in the public eye and in show biz long enough to understand a pubicity stunt. There is nothing wrong with them going along with it. It doesn’t really hurt anybody. It just shows some that people will go to great lengths to cover up what they want, with the powerful use of money and prestige.
Regarding the possibility of someone having a birthday party for Suri, well, I see it as very strange that the parents were at fund raisers and were photog in the east coast, then photoged after traveling across the country at someone else’s birthday party on the west coast. It wasn’t a joint-birthday party.
You think I’m crazy for thinking along the lines of a conspiracy, well, I think you are crazy for accepting everything at face value. Things are not all what they seem, and it’s healthy to have people who are critics. What is highly strange is that there are no other conspiracies around except for this couple. Other celeb women have been photoged during and after their pregnancies and no weirdness prevailed. However, nothing has ever been completely black or white with this couple. There has always been a lot of grays.

The reason why there have been no other conspiracy theories is that this couple has been the most “controversial” and people enjoy smearing them in tabloids and gossiping about their lives, which they know nothing about. True, some of these stories might be partially accurate, but come on people the media is feeding gossip because they do not like this couple. I for one do not believe everything I read, especially in such magazines as Star and USWEEKLY. This particular conspiracy THEORY, and I highlight theory because it has not been proven, is just plain ridiculous.

As far as her being older than what she really is, I highly doubt that. Some babies are bigger for their age group compared to some. Mine for example, when she turned one, people could have sworn she was 2 because her clothes at that time were 3T (3 Toddler). So, you can’t make biased opinions based on a photograph alone.

I am constantly amazed at people’s ignorance and how rude and nasty they will get to prove a point. My niece is EXTREMELY tall for her age. When she was two years old, I took her picture and asked people how old she looked. the average age I got was six years old. does that mean my cousin lied about when she gave birth to my niece?? NO. no two babies are the same.
The reason there is such a discrepancy between Suri and Grier, is because Suri was due in Late March/Early april. Katie was about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks late when she gave birth. Grier was due in May. Brooke gave birth no more than three weeks early.

I know there’s the whole “Where was Suri’s party?” question, but I personally think Tom and Katie were extremely classy not throwing a huge party the same day, or far worse, a joint party. A joint party would have escalated into a media contest between the tots, and what’s the point of that? Tom and Katie are teaching their daughter that life is not just about her–it’s about the people in her life. I’m proud of them.

There was a video from a basketball game a few weeks ago, when Katie was holding Suri and Tom wanted to hold her. Suri SMACKED, yes I said SMACKED, her father in the face! Katie started laughing!!

Suri Cruise Celebrates Her First Birthday
Little Suri Cruise may not realize the effort involved, but her family made sure she celebrated her first birthday in style.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes organized a birthday lunch on April 18 at the Cruise compound in Los Angeles, where the entire clan dined on pizza and cupcakes from Sprinkles bakery in Beverly Hills.
“Suri is walking and talking,” says a source close to the family, who adds that dragonfly and butterfly piñatas were part of the entertainment.
The guest of honor – who, Holmes told PEOPLE recently, “loves just being outside right now,” received a gym set for the backyard, according to the source, along with a stack of books, balls and dolls.
“Tom and Suri kicked the ball around the lawn during the party,” adds the source.
Holmes’s mom Kathy, 60, flew to California for the occasion, as did a sister and nephew of Cruise, according to the source. On April 17, both grandmothers – Kathy Holmes and Mary Lee Mapother South, 70 – were treated to dinner at an Italian restaurant.
Just days earlier Holmes, 28, was in Shreveport, La., where she is filming Mad Money with Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton – and the day after the birthday bash, she and Cruise, 44, jetted to New York City for Cruise’s 9/11 Detox Fund-Raiser.
But Wednesday’s luncheon was a fun break from all the jet-setting – albeit a messy one. By the end of the party, says the source, “Tom, Katie and Suri were wearing chocolate.”

Here is my post: Suri is adorable and cute cute cute like a button. She is going to be a beauty. I was kind of surprised tha her birthday made news on many networks but she seems to be a very famous baby. She will be as beautiful as Katie. I can’t wait to see her grow. I normally don’t post comments on sites like this but feel compelled to today. I haven’t really been a fan of Tom Cruise since he divorced Nicole Kidman since his behavior has been strange on a good day and downright obnoxious otherwise. BUT I have to say that I don’t think it is fair to an innocent child for people to speculate openly about her birth date or to comment on how bonded she might (or might not be) to one of her parents. This little girl is living her life in a fish bowl and I can only imagine how she might feel some day to read all of the negativity that has so far been attached to her since her birth. People can and should say all they want to about adults but please leave the kids out of it.

What do you mean, she looks HOT? Get some glasses and a better pair of contacts. SHe has no make-up on, her bra strap is showing, and her blue handbag does not match her black and red shoes. SHe looks tired and unhappy. I wonder how long it’s going to be before she ends this charade.

Katie always has a very subtle make-up and she goes for a natural look, which makes her look down to earth and NOT ARTIFICIAL like the rest of Hollywood.

About Suri’s size. Suri is obviously a very healthy girl. I bet she has all organic foods, VERY VERY VERY healthy stuff. I bet TK don’t spoil her with many sweet or unhealthy treats. She probably has a diet high in protien calcium and vitamins.I think she is just super healthy. A testament to how well she is being looked after. I couldn’t care how cute or not Suri looks, she is a REALLY healthy and happy baby and that is such a joy to see.

How can Suri celebrate her birhday in LA with her mother, when her mother is still in Shreveport? And in LA, the cruise grandmother is already there, because she lives with them. WHat’s so special about KAtie’s mom flying out to LA? WHat about her dad, and her other sisters and brother? And was malpother there too? Was he cruise’s cousin who flew in for the ocassion? Katie was in Shreveport last weekend but she went back to LA after she did a cast interview and since they were both in LA on Monday (check pictures) common sense will tell you that they went to NY after Suri’s B-day and Katie is still in LA (check picture leaving Cut) she probably hasn’t started filming her part in the movie yet.

I’m not going by the story that suits me. I’m going by the stories that this web site reports. The first story that was reported here was that KH was in SHreveport, and TC was flying in with Suri to spend her birthday with mom. Later, it’s reported that there was a mini- private b’day party in LA. Are you saying that we shouldn’t believe anything that is reported on this web site? That’s not my issue, but yours. I am assuming that these stories are legit, although now I realize that the publicist doesn’t keep track of the bogus stories that are reported. I mean, at least be consistant! And People mag. only goes by what the publicist reports to them as a “source”. All they have to do is to call up the editor’s office and tell them that they are KH’s publicist and they have a story to report.

Gossip magazines will always fabricate tales, that is their specialty and you believe them at your own peril. The latest, Katie is being forced by Tom to go for Scientology Mummy classes, with all the flying around they have been doing for the last two weeks, I wonder when she got time to go for these so called classes. Another story is that Tom gave her a weight machine which she opened and screamed at him that she is thin enough!!!! Who was there spying on them?
How sad and desperate are the writers of these tales? For all I care, I could come up with a story that Katie had a spat with Tom’s mum on Suri’s birthday, she wanted a small party, his mom wanted a big do. I can build on it and sell it as a headline in one of these rags.
I wish they would be more considerate that stars too are humans and not some dolls to use for making money. Pity that our society has come to this.

Carla, I think I’ve said it in my comments that Katie was Sherveport last weekend to give a cast interview which was days before Suri’s b-day just like people article and she was back in LA on Monday 16th of April 2 days before Suri’s b-day (check picture).

Anne, I can’t believe the rubbish these tabloid are trying to sell! One week its Tomkat the next its Branglina or Jennifer Aniston. The thing is they are recycling their own story since they run out of new things to write. Didn’t they see all the picture and the travelling Tomkat has been doing the last few days? I’ve been looking at many different pictures of this baby, and I am quite puzzled. Many of the pictures don’t look like the same child. In fact, some of the pictures show a child with a bigger head, slanty eyes and chubby nose, while others show a child with a smaller head. This may sound negative to some, but that is a weird looking child.

I think Suri looks like Drake Bell, from the DRake and Josh show on the Disney Channel, except that she has blue eyes and not brown, does anyone agree?

She really is a cute baby, I just don’t understand why they dress her so badly. That poor kid has the most unstylish wardrobe ever. As cute as she is they should really have her look the part.

What the heck? I was on here one other time and couldn’t believe what some are writing. What is with the speculation on Suri and the party? Are you coo coo or something (one person I may add). Why are you on here obsessing over this? Why do you keep posting about them and thinking they are hiding something? You need to take a look at yourself. If you think you don’t have an issue and you are just a fan…you are not a fan. You are not nice.
As for everyone else who has nice things to say and isn’t thinking there is meaning behind what they do - good for you. That is what a fan is.
