  Wow! The last time Suri was seen was January 16th in New York City and now she resurfaces 2 months later March 25th. What a difference 2 months makes. She has definitley grown in those two months. You can tell she has sprouted (height wise) in the legs and gotten a haircut.

  Hopefully she is not isolated everyday from children her own age. She looks kind of shy in these pictures. She is a cutie tho…

  Suri is completely and utterly adoreable! TC is a very odd guy. He takes his little girl to the park in a white party dress, and then does nothing but stand around in the park with her. No swings. No slides. No interacting with other children. Where is Katie? I pray to God he isn’t setting the public up for when Katie leaves and he keeps her little girl.

  Ok…..that child is BEYOND beautiful….really cannot even put a word to how striking she is!! In some of the pics you see her mouth and tongue and she is squirming in TC’s arms…..I bet she can be a handful like any other toddler. She looks so cute like she is testing her dad to see how far she can go with him….she is so adorable. What a little spitfire!! :)

  Is there something wrong with this picture? Why is a child taken to a park all dressed up, when she isn’t even allowed to play? Seems like a nasty tease for the kid, if you ask me.

  Not sure why tc is in a long sleeve shirt AND a cardigan sweater, heavy Levis and motorcycle boots while Suri is in just a TOO CUTE FOR WORDS lightweight summer dress and sandals. Is it hot or cold outside?

  I guess it’s all how you look at it. It looks like Suri is upset tht her daddy won’t let her play. The child has such a straight faced expression. Too old for a young child. She also looks like she is very pale and light weight. No baby fat on this kid.

  On one of the pics you can see he didn’t look happy to see the camera and then almost in all of the 42 pics it looks like they were going out of the play ground to go to there car…anyway that is what I thought. Whatever the case I’m glad we got to see those adorable father and daughter pics.

  Seriously, most celeb couples even put their kids in jeans/pants and t-shirt to play on the playground. Not a party dress.

  She is cute though, just like most kids are at the age. She also looks like a normal toddler.

  It is funny about the comments here. People are arguing that Tc is a great Dad and then jump all over other posters for saying he is not. Unfortuantely, we are all using the same pics. None of us really know for sure. I seriuously doubt with how litigious Cruise is known for any of us really have ‘inside knowledge’.

  I think most posters are saying he is a good dad based on what others including his critics have said. But you can really tell whether someone is a good parent or not from pics take over a few minutes of their life.

  I have a friend that told me she was at the park that day. She said that KH was also there but was standing back with the cameras and that is why you see tc and suri looking over that way. Infact Suri wanted “mommy come play too” and that was another reason that they were walking that way.
  She said it was tc’s peeps taking the pics. They cleared the park and let only people that suri was familiar with into the area. Makes total sense, for security reasons.
  Then tc released the pics to the tabs as a way to control what would be put out there.

  Wish I had a friend who knows Suri well enough to be allowed to stay after the park was cleared and could tell me everything that happened! No such luck though but love the pictures. She’s just beautiful and good to see her out with Tom.

  Suri is beautifully dressed! She’s not playing, though, but merely clinging to her father’s hand. It is obvious that she is shy around her peers and really doesn’t know how to engage with other children on a playground. It makes sense, since she lives in such an isolated world. So sad!

  I should say that my friend was part of the camera crew. So “she” doesn’t know any of the cruise family.
  In fact “she” wasn’t even suppose to tell me about the shoot. At least she did waited until the photos hit print. haha
  tc is VERY protective of his family.

  So Donner, Daddy wasn’t playing with his daughter in the park, he was photographing her in the park. Nice quality family time.

  A friend who’s one of Tom’s people–even better! I think you said Tom’s people took the pictures, I am a little surprised that one of Tom’s people doesn’t know the family at all. But did “she” tell you how they cleared the park, I mean it’s surprising no one complained or talked about it to the media.

  LOL Anna, you are so funny. Yes I am glad you got that poser out. Obviously she is lying since in some pictures we do see other parents and kids in the back ground. I think TC left immediately after he saw the paps coming. If they were just there to pose, then they would have worn the right clothes. I guess TC just took out a restless Suri for a while. It is only pictures we can never know. Besides why take pictures and look pissed like TC does.

  Whatever the case, Suri look so adorable and Tom as HOT as ever.

  My friend was WITH the camera crew. SHE does not know tc personally. YES tc hired the camera crew to take the pics. Parks in SoCal are a dime a dozen. If one has too many people you drive 2 blocks to the next one that is empty. When it is said “cleared” it was meant that his security made sure only the invited were in the play area.
  And IF the entire tc clan can go to the house of blues on the busiest brunch day of the year and not get their pictures taken or anyone “talk to the media” then why can’t they go a park and the same thing happen?

  Donnerparty, point well taken. No one even put anything on Youtube when they went to the house of blues; also having visited the area often myself; there seems to be plenty of parks; yeah, some are more popular than others, but there are plenty that are nice but look vacant all the time.

Katie you stand there, but I want no pictures of you…and under no circumstances is Suri allowed to do anything, or really even enter the park.   Sorry Zoe, but looks to me like Suri is the one who doesn’t want to play. She looks shy, like Tom’s trying to coax her onto the playground, but she doesn’t want to go. Tom does look bothered, either because the paps are there or because he’s concerned that Suri doesn’t want to socialize. He went out of his way early on to make sure she was worldly, but kids will be kids.

  Went out of his way early on to show she was worldly? ………… So that explains the criticism he and Katie got for not doing a photo spread the days after Suri was born and retreating again after the photos in VF.

  A father taking his daughter to a park is using her?
  We hardly see this child and when we do she is with one or both of her parents doing what parents everywhere do with their children…………..She is just two years old almost.
  I could just imagine the anger if she was constabtly in the company of nannies.

  Did anyone see the OK article where there is a person that was in the park quoted as saying a few things. I think it is hard to determine exactly what transpired by the pictures, clearly you could go many different ways by all these posts.
  But who is saying such nasty things to each other where Julie is having to delete full comments? I didnt and dont think this should be such a heated topic;)

  I guess in the two months Suri was kept out of sight from the public she learned to go out WITHOUT a bottle, blanket and probably even got potty trained.

  I still think these pictures were staged. I definitley think Cruise is trying to repair the bad publicity he has faced with Morton’s book, that YouTube video, and a few other missteps. He’s got a few months before his movie Valkire comes out in Theatres. Suri is a cutie but doesn’t appear as someone that is around a lot of children. I don’t like to compare one child to another but Violet Affleck seems very normal around a playground and a stroller. Suri seems to be growing up around more adults than children. They are definitely watching her diet because she is not an overweight child. You can tell that weight is a big issue in the Cruise household.

  Suri is so adorable! Just a beautiful beautiful child! I love how nicely dressed she is in all her feminine little dresses! This one is from a store called janie and jack and isn’t that expensive, like her famous burberry one, I have one for my youngest dd, so really it could be considered a play dress according to their standards! At least Suri is dressed nice unlike the Jolie-Pitts who look like they dress themselves and no one cares how they look.

  Also, as everyone has stated, this family has the right to raise their kid the way the want and so do other couples; just because they don’t dress their children a certain way, does not make the any less good or bad parents because I don’t know any of these people.

  Just sipping some coffee and decided to stop by. From my own experience, young people can be very different. My daughter, for instance, didn’t really get out of the overall, holey jeans stage until “boys” came into the picture. For some reason she always felt more comfortable and in her own element in those clothes. Me, the same way, when I’m not forced to wear a monkey suit, I just may throw on a pair of jeans that are over ten years old. If Suri is more comfortable in those clothes, then so be it, also, not very familiar with the Jolie-Pitts, but if their children are comfortable in the clothes they wear, so be that also. From what I see, neither sets of children look like someone need to get law enforcement involved because of lack of care. That’s a big point for me. Everything else is just up to personal preference.

  Every time I look at Suri cruise I can’t help but go ‘my she is gorgeous!’. She is so beautiful. The pictures are so adorable. It is a beautiful father and daughter time. She is just about the most beautiful child I have seen. Unique. WIth so much character as well. Kids can be difficult and since it was Easter weekend she may have insisted on wearing her favourite dress for the outing. May be they did not mean to go to the park but ended up there, any one with kids can sympathise.

  oh so lovely, father and daughter in the park. so what she’s in a fancy white dress, for sure no one planned these photos, it is so natural, so
  spontanoues, Suri hugging up her Dad and so enjoying romping in the joys of the playground.
  I’m sure he pushed her in the swing and she might have soiled her dress a bit, but so what,
  this is pure love, why must there be a motive that it has anything to do with his image or new flop, I mean new movie?

  Any one noticed the same people saying this is staged also said Suri was being hidden for a brithday do? I think to these people Tom Cruise can never do anything right. So I doubt it is any use trying to explain to them.

  It must hurt to realise that even with his image attacked systematically, Tom Cruise is the beiggest star and will always be. New comers like Gyllenhaal also tanked at BO, Brad Pitt too and George Clooney. Are their images damaged? Their movies were not even war movies.

  why would Tom bother to pose for pictures and looks so pissed? Why then allow the ‘team’ to release the pcitures?

  Why would they dress Suri like that to stage pictures in the park? She is a very beautiful child who would look beautiful in rags. Park clothes would have been much better as we have seen her in cute jeans in Tiagen park in Germany.

  Why would Katie be on the sidelines when the pictures would be better if they were all there?

  Why post the pictures on a blog site?

  Were other paps banned? It seems a public park since there are other kids.

  I think Tom left as soon as he saw a photog. The pictures do not seem to have been taken over a long period of time. Otherwise we would see Suri palying and TC talking to other parents too. He is very friendly. It must have been a break while he was going some where or waiting for someone and Suri got restless in the car.

  Enough with the ridiculous conspiracies.

  Well, I for one am glad as a parent that my every move is not scrutinized over and over. They both seem like good parents who love their daughter. I think no matter what he tries to do people will find fault. Can you imagine never being able to leave your house with your child without dozens of cameras in your face? I love to see her because she is in fact just adorable, yet I feel guilty because we seem to invade on their ability to give this child any sense of a “normal” childhood.

  Beautiful pictures. I doubt Tom Cruise cares that much how much the dress cost. Why amke an effort to pose when all he can do is go to a restaurant with Katie and Suri and will get all the publicty he needs. I think some people as usual are over scrutnising the pictures to find fault. If you follow the sequence, it seems to me that Tom is leaving in a hurry and Suri is protesting. Is he running away from the team he employed himself? LOL.

  Suri does not seem to be her usual jolly self which makes me think she was crying or throwing a tantrum and Tom took her to the park to calm her. I doubt it was planned. He is not in park clothes either. We have seen them visit parks so I am sure they know what park outfits look like.
