  I love love love these pictures even though they don’t have a clear picture of Suri. I also do love that picture of Tom and Katie. Any way I doubt there was nothing wrong with their relationship in the first place.

  I love the picture of Tom with Katie’s dad. They seem like they get along very well.

  it’s a scientology retreat center. the cruises saw the helicopter and then shared a kiss to make sure everyone knows they’re not separating LOL.
  there appears to be a lot of adults, but not many kids. kids could care less if a cake is expensive or if the balloons cost a lot of money. they just want to play. i have friends who are not mega rich like the cruises, but they still put on a big show for every occasion. it’s all about appearances. that’s the sense i get here.

  Tyler how cynical not that I expected anything else. They may even have been whispering and not kissing. And why not go out to dinner and kiss while paps are surrouding them? Well atleast their relaxed and loving body language can’t be faked. Notice that in the first set of pictures they had not noticed the helicopter and they were still cuddly. But hey, it is ok if you want to spend your weeked believing they are splitting soon. You have believed that since 2005, what is another 50 years. LOL.

  lauren, i don’t for a moment believe they are splitting. they may be content, but what i believe or don’t believe doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. they’re my uninformed observations, nothing more nothing less. btw, i haven’t followed this couple since 2005 so your last sentence is entirely out of the blue. the first time this couple caught my attention was when the paps were showing the big castle they were about to be married in. it was all over the internet. it was hard to believe that tom cruise, who was always so private, had become a tabloid spectacle. i didn’t even know they weren’t married. but, you’re right, i may be a little cynical cause in my opinion their smooching, or whispering in these pics, looks looks a little misplaced. take another look, without the rose colored glasses.

  Tyler, If you got another couple as specimen, I am sure a lot of their actions can be construed with cynism and scepticism. I have seen pregnant tummies wierder than Katie’s and bigger kids than Suri that age.

  Whatever Tom and Katie do, if you are determined to be suspicious and cynical, you will find a fault. When Katie is happy, she is brainwashed, when she is tired, she is crumbling under the pressure, when she is bored, she is robot. There is no winning. I am sure if Katie’s tummy was not showing like Nicole’s consipiracy theories would be built on that. There is no winning for them. When you see several sets of pictures, you can see them holding each other normally like any couple.

  Don’t you guys feel like voyeurs looking in on someone’s life. My goodness, people are suing Yahoo for posting pics of their homes on the web and you guys are oogling in on a family that you profess to love. I consider this a complete invasion of privacy.

  You all gripe about Paps, but look at yourselves and you can blame yourselves for what the paps are doing!! YOU ARE THE CONSUMERS OF THEIR INVASIVE WORK!!!!

  This is dispicable and so is all the oogling from you guys.

  whew!! a little hot in this thread! I am thrilled about the sippy cup. I am a nanny on the weekends and I have a precious set of twins-boy and girl who have not had the bottle except in the evening and not in bed forever since they were 11 months old. Now they are 15 mos old and it is sippy cups all the way and regular food. Gotta say that part is different from 30 years ago when my girls were babies. LOL Don’t quite understand the blanket thing but some kids do seem to get attached to something and it is a bear to get it away from them. At least it isn’t a pacifier, thank goodness.

  So Lauren, if you aren’t here for the conversation and discussion, why are you here? To insult and attack anyone who says a word against your tommyboy?? Well good job. BRAVO You are doing a bang up job there. I am here to look at the pics and the new articles and express an opinion on some. Discuss others. Simple. That is it. I get the folks that have undying love for TC and realize there are some who don’t like me. I think there is room for all of it. As he isn’t ever going to see any of this anyway, I am fairly certain TC himself doesn’t care what anyone says either way. While we discuss his life, he is too busy living it to let any of this bother him. So why do you let things bother you so much?? RELAX, laugh a little and ignore posts that you don’t agree with or have the manners to just say, I disagree in a polite way..

I’m not going to be nit-picky, but I’m also going to be upfront and give an opinion. These people are just like you and me, they are not perfect. If something good is going on, I’ll call it.   Why in the world would anyone be happy that katie collapsed?? If she did. There didn’t seem to be any photo evidence of that and the papps are on her constantly. I think she has lost too much weight in a short time frame, and I don’t know about seaweed shakes. EWWW I think I would rather choose nothing then something with seaweed in it.. I hope she starts eating more healthy soon and we see her out and about again looking well again.

  Hey Julie! I know you are quite busy with your move, but did you check out the bauer-griffin online site. They have pics of the birthday and they are the ones that did the Tom and Suri at the park pics too. Maybe they are sort of their official “unofficial’ photographers now. Nothing wrong with that-just saying. Also I thought the People article was nice on the party. And they had a great pic of the cake. Looks like the cake came from one place and then sprinkles cupcakes. Katie is said to love those. TMZ and others weren’t so nice and the comments there.. WHEW.

  It looks like Bauer-Griffin has acquired the habit of following TomKat on the ground and in the air……Those birthday pics are obviously taken from above.
  As much as i have to admit to enjoying the pics, i wish the paps would leave the children alone. Follow Tom and Katie if they must but respect the children’s privacy at the very least.

  This party was at a CoS owned building. Most likely no one knew a birthday party was to take place and that is why the guests are not dressed up and did not bring gifts.
  BUT it IS rather interesting that ONE CERTAIN PHOTOGRAPHER, the same one that knew to go to a certain park a few weeks ago also knew it would pay off to rent a helicopter for a birds eye view!?!?!?!
  Coincidence? I think not!

  No, there was only ONE helicopter with ONE photographer. If you will notice, the pictures are the same ones on all of the various sites. Some sites have MORE pictures only because they bought MORE pictures from the ONE helicopter with photographer.
  This is NOT a “non-fan” conspiracy theory. It is just the way that PR departments work!

  Okay, there is something that is really bothering me. Mostly because when I plan a party or even put up my Christmas decorations, everything has to coordinate. I pick a theme and stick with it.
  I am going to ask a question and I don’t want a LAME “it’s a two year olds party that is what she wanted” type answer. ( If you ask a 2 yr old in the right voice tone if they want to play ball on the freeway they will say YES!)
  SO Here is my question:
  Why do the balloons and cake NOT MATCH? UGH! It is totally BUGGING ME!
  It makes me really think that the cake we saw was NOT Suris birthday cake OR this gathering is NOT Suris birthday party.

  In looking at the pictures, the cake colors match with the colors of the flower hats that the male and female guests are wearing.
  Unless you have inside pics no one can tell what the theme of that party was.

  The balloons line the entrance way only……… In many of the children’s parties that I’ve been to ballooons lining a driveway has nothing to do with the party itself.

  As for the helicopter, it could be just one………….I’m still not convinced of that though.
  Bauer-Griffin claims to be on all of those magazines and photo agencies.

  In looking at their website there are photos of situations with other celebrities where you’d think they wouldn’t/shouldn’t have any access whatsoever.

  The photos from the Hollywood hills retreat are all the same photos. They are credited to pacific coast news.

  There are additional photos of the new house, they were taken by x17.

  So there were two photogs, in two separate choppers…. OR one freelancer photog in one chopper who sold the diff sets of photos to each agency (so he could get an ‘exclusive’ price from each??). There certainly weren’t two photogs over both premises at the same time because there is only one set of each photos - they weren’t replicated by a rival agency.

  How does Hollywood work in such situations?

  Even though those photos are completely invasive, I have to admit it’s very nice to see the whole family together again, including Bella, Connor and two of Katie sisters, one of her nephews (the blonde kid) and her niece. Its also nice to see Tom and Katie’s father bonding.

  To me it doesn’t matter who or how many paps took the pics. At the end of the day its great that this will put those irresponsible rumors to rest!

  I honestly dont think they staged the entire thing either( the kissing).

  Puck: I think it is coordinated, but very simple, almost too simple. But at least Barnum and Bailey are not there, you have to give Katie credit for trying to be “normal”. But who knows this could be one of several gatherings. Maybe there is a party with friends too, this looks like family.

  I have to admit that I was annoyed at first looking at the pics. I mean, how aggressive can you be with taking pics?

  Any way, after thinking about it for two seconds, I realized, how in the heck did they happen to know where the party was? Last year, there were NO PICS of Suri’s first party and that was at home supposedly in the backyard. This year, when PR is desperately needed for these two, the same photog who ‘happened’ to see TC and Suri in the park just ‘happened’ to have a chopper and KNOW where the party was, when no other news agency did.

  Wonder whose payroll they are really on?

  MOM: When your rich and have friends in Hollywood, why not have more than one party? Besides, it would be fun having more than one. I think the first party was Posh’s close friend and girlie party. This seems more of a couple’s night out for everyone and their mother that they are aquainted with in Hollyweird.

  Just went up and read the comments. Not trying to add heat to the frying pan, but a comment by a poster stating that they weren’t here for conversation, could possibly have been said with a little more tact. I know that people come to this site for various reasons, but some things can be said a little more respectfully and tactful. In my business, sometimes I just want to say something right then, but I take a breath and think about how it may sound or come across. If I didn’t do that, I would probably be OUT of business by now. Like I said at the beginning, just an observation, not trying to condemn.

  x17 had their own chopper, they always do. Bauer-Griffin are to nasty to be on anyone’s payroll. They are too snoopy they have intimate pictures of Owen Wilson and Kate from yesterday. It is not the first time they have hired a chopper to snoop. Remember the pictures of Posh taking Tom and Katie around the house?

  So x17 AND Bauer BOTH had choppers above the party at the COS building and only Bauer is the snoop.

  Also interesting is that two separate cameras shooting at completely different angles would capture the EXACT same picture. Now, how can THAT be staged?

  I never heard of Bauer whoever until the pictures of Tom and Suri at the park. But in viewing their site, I am not sure any celeb would actually hire them. They got some rather personal type pics there that seem a bit invasive to me. And by the way I agree about the balloons lining the driveway. Sometimes that makes it easier for folks that haven’t been there to find their way. Good point Mary.

  Yes, I can see lining a walk way with balloons so others not familiar with the area can find the party. I’m just saying that a party perfectionist would of had the party colors all the way out to the street.
  But then again, white and yellow and green butterflies looks more like a garden tea party vs. a two yr old birthday party so anyone not knowing would just fly right by!
  That would be a reason as to why the primary colored balloons and sidewalk chalk.

  I was actually surprised they had balloons at a party for a 2 year old. Children’s hospitals and reputable preschools don’t let regular balloons in the front door because when little kids play with them and the balloons shatter, the kids can inhale the pieces and choke on them. Mylar balloons are much safer because they don’t shatter into small pieces.

  Actually if uou look closely, the sets of pictures are different. Bauer- does not have the scientology centre and their pictures are more detailed than X17. Of course they must have been at the same time but the pictures are different.
