okay when they interviewed all of them a couple months ago and showed a clip (the one on the bed) I thought UH STINKFEST!
ANd although the trailer is WAY too long (feel like saw the whole movie practically) it doesn’t look as bad as I thought……I won’t be seeing it, but it looks kinda cute!

I didn’t think the movie sounded good in theory. But the preview makes it look a whole lot cuter.

I didn’t think it was going to be anything either- looks like it might be kinda cute- light funny chick-flick. so-o-o, how serious do you think KH will be taken now after playing this airhead? bet ya she never plays a serious role again, which is probably exactly what TC intended when he fenagled this part for her and stopped her from doing the Batman sequel.

Looks okay, but it also looks like a movie that could go straight to Blockbuster.

Just watching the preview for this movie was a vomit inducing experience (plots in books and movies about people or a small group of people acquriing large amounts of money has been played out over many years) . I can’t even begin to imagine what seeing the whole movie would be like. And as usual, Katie’s acting appears to be far below par and generic.

KH has some great lines in this movie. It must be her life.
Queen: “Do you know what they call s e x for money?”
KH: “Advertsing!!”
Sounds like her life with Cruise!! S e x for money to advertise her!!
KH: “I don’t like thinking.”
It’s obvious!!

I highly doubt that I will see the movie. It does not look like something I will waste any money or time on. I am a bit picky that way when it comes to my time and money. I will say, I was intrigued in the movie because of Queen Latifa and Diane Keaton. I think they are both funny and talented actresses!!
After the preview, no way. It does look a Blockbuster movie to be crammed in the back with other b-class movies.

Katie Holmes misses out on musical role
October 29, 2007 07:51am
Article from: BANG Showbiz
KATIE Holmes is devastated after being turned down for a role in a new musical film, it has been claimed.
The former Dawson’s Creek star - who last year married Tom Cruise and gave birth to his daughter Suri - was desperate to appear in the movie adaptation of hit Broadway show Nine, but director Rob Marshall reportedly decided she wasn’t right for the role.
A source said: “Katie desperately wanted to be in Nine. It would have taken her back to the singing and dancing she did when she was growing up.
“She thought working with Rob would be a career breakthrough. She was heartbroken when she didn’t get the part.”
Chicago director Marshall’s new project tells the story of famous film director Guido Contini and the women in his life.
Catherine Zeta-Jones - who won an Oscar for her part in Chicago - has been cast as Guido’s muse, Sophia Loren will play his mother, while Tom Cruise’s ex-girlfriend Penelope Cruz is to play his mistress.
Tom’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman was also tipped to appear in the movie, along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Renee Zellweger and Dame Judi Dench.
Since Katie, 28, married Tom it has been claimed he has to approve her scripts before she auditions.

NO ONE wants to deal with that mess…….the “missing” s e x scene from TYFS, the fiasco on the set of MM that pissed off actors and crew, plus his arrogant bullying presence………she gets EXACTLY what she deserves for getting involved and selling her soul….NOTHING GOOD AND EVERYTHING WRONG

What happened on the set of MM besides KH trying to fatten eveyone else up? I wonder if she wanted to indulge, but couldn’t.

well….apparently there was supposed to be a very small dinner party with only about 10 people…ted danson, diane, katie, the director, etc. tc called and not only invited himself but several others and reserved several other tables and wanted katie to sit at their table!!!!!
Apparently ted danson was so OVER tc’s annoying presence on the set at that point that he LEFT for the weekend saying something like he needed to get away and couldn’t stand it anymore!!!!!!!!!

So in other words, his egotism is pretty much ending KH’s career, unless he directs the movie. (I wonder if that is why she did not get the musical she wanted.) I wonder if he was the one that forced the movie release date to change? Also, did he have KH’s shower scene nixed in this one as well?
Is she that daft that she does not see what he is doing or does she still have twirling circles in eyes about the whole mess? “OH, he will cast me as a leading lady!!” Wasn’t he asking Johansen, in front of KH in January, to be his leading lady in a Mission Impossible movie? I wonder if KH was insulted or is she still stupid and blind to her meal ticket.
