Katie on Set for “Young Katie” Character Casting Call

July 7, 2009 by Julie Bonner

Katie Holmes was seen on the set of “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” today (July 7) in Melbourne, Australia. According to Splash Online, she was there for the casting call of the young Katie.

I can’t wait to see who they choose to play a young Katie. My guess is it’s going to be someone local in Melbourne, but who knows.

Katie looked very focused and ready to work as she walked onto the set with her security guards. She is wearing her hair up in a clip, which looks really nice on her and is dressed for the cold Melbourne weather.

As you know, Tom and Suri are in Melbourne with Katie and they had a very busy holiday weekend. They celebrated Tom’s 47th birthday, saw Jersey Boys and Katie was seen on the set in a pair of horn-rimmed glasses.

She looks great doesn’t she? I am loving that brown leather jacket!!

LOVE the way Katie looks in this picture. Her hair looks so much better pushed up rather than hanging around her face and her clothing is terrific.

I agree annie. In this picture set, she almost looks the way she did prior to meeting Tom, which is great to see. Other pics show a very different looking Katie. To me she always looks sad and depressed. I guess getting back to work is doing her good!
