Katie Holmes Presents at the 2009 SAG Awards

Katie Holmes presented the award for “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role” to Milk star Sean Penn at the 2009 SAG Awards. The awards were held on Sunday, January 25th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Katie didn’t walk the red carpet, but I wish she would have! She looked stunning. She wore a Jil Sanders dress with pumps by Stuart Weitzman in Adobe. Unfortunately, I don’t have a full-length picture of Katie yet, but I am hoping I can post some soon.
Katie’s dress was so original compared to a lot of the other attendees. I am glad she didn’t wear blue, because blue was everywhere that night. Her dress has a small cutout on the side and then a draping effect over her left shoulder. Just beautiful!

It would have been better to put her on earlier in the telecast. It looked like an awkward moment, but she carried on. I think ALL of us women will think twice about going braless from now on
SAG Awards: Uhh…Katie’s breasts are SAG GING. She needs a bra asap. I would never get up at the podium in front of thousands without some mammary support! Other than that faux pau her dress is stunning, the color, cut, style are fantastic! The shoes her stylist chose for her are simply ideal for that style of dress as well as for the color of her dress. Nice gold bracelet as an accessory as well. Her hair looks good here as well as her skin and makeup. Overall: A-.

Katie almost never wears a bra. I notice it (the nipples) in these photos, but didn’t think it was noticible on the television screen…

I’m watching the SAG Awards and was pleasantly surprised to see Katie presenting the award for leading male actor! She looked quite pretty in a chocolate satin one shouldered dress, as well as quite well rested. So great to see her on the awards!
I always find the “In Memorium” montages interesting, as I am too young to have known who many of the actors are, but will sometimes recognize the face from a show I saw when I was little. It is with great sorrow, that this is the second year I’ve actually known someone who has passed away. Though I did not know Heath Ledger personally, I did see him & Michelle (whom I do know) in Brooklyn while Chell was still expecting Matilda. Though tragic, the death last year that had the most effect on me was that of Frank Capra Jr. He was not in any of the memoriams I saw, though I think he should have been in all of them. He did so much throughout his life (following in the footsteps of his fater, as his sons have followed him) to further the business of filmmaking, having settled down in Wilmington, NC in his later years becoming the president of EUE/Screen Gems Studios as well as passing along his vast knowledge to film majors who were lucky enough to take a class from him. I can honestly say he was one of the nicest, most down to earth producers I’ve ever met. He could put a smile on your face in 2 seconds, his presense lit up a room and I miss him to this day.
This year, I was saddened again when Pat Hingle’s photo was shown. Pat’s resume numbers almost 200 roles in his life when he passed away earlier this month. Though I never got the chance to work with him, I met him on several occasions & my best friend was quite good friends wih him. He lived a modest living a few minutes outside Wilmington in Carolina Beach, and I loved how he was just a “kind elderly man”; you would never know by talking to him that he had been in so many productions. He remained active in keeping filming alive in NC, and his smiling mug will also be quite missed.
I realize I’ve gone off topic, but thank you for allowing me to pay tribute to 2 great guys who gave so much to the industry, were both genuine and kind to me and inspired so much in many.
I think she looks stunning, love the dress and the colour on her, her over all look is fab, wish she never wears another piece of black clothing again , it drains her.

Up until now, I had only seen pics of Katie, but just saw her presenting the award to Sean Penn on ET, the whole outfit is more striking than it appears in the pics, the dress is beautiful, and the cut out section at the side of the dress is also larger than you see in the pics, does anyone else think that maybe she snipped her hair a little again or its just not as styled as it was in London.
She is looking so trim and slim and her face so fresh. I ditto the BRA remarks….. Katie get some support with ‘the girls’! I wonder how much she weighs? Does anyone have any ideas? She looks so trim and fit, I wouldn’t mind looking like that!
Annie: her hair does appear to be snipped again…..or lets just hope that she had it slicked back behind her ears. It looks shiny and healthy finally b/c in NYC her haircolor was so dull with zero shine. I swear that I thought that she looked her worst the entire time in NY. I am still stunned at how bad she looked, hair, skin, clothing. She looks so much better since the show closed. Maybe she has time now to primp, and I say thank goodness b/c she looked so below average in NY and now she is beginning to resemble what a “star” should look like!
She did look somewhat more refreshed. But she should have worn a bra… even my husband noticed that and thought the “girls” looked a little un even. The dress was ok, but I liked her shoes.
It was impossible not to notice because the camera was shooting from slightly below the performer so they were in full view.
Honestly, she didn’t wear a bra with this dress. Boo hoo hoo! It would of looked stupid with a bra! You can’t wear a bra with this dress people! Strapless or otherwise! She looks great. AT least she doesn’t have fake big breasts like a lot of actresses…Fabulous katie. You go girl…braless
leah….obviously not a bra with straps…the stick on pasty ones…..would have been appropriate.

She looks great I agree. Her ensemble is simple and chic. Nice to see her presenting an award to one of my best actors.
I believe I post observations, not insults. Julie did not make this a site for people who are avid fans alone, or I didn’t think so anyway. Maybe, Julie, you can clarify who is, or is not, allowed here.

Everyone is welcome to post here as long as they follow the comment policy. There is a difference between observation and insults. You can say, “she should have worn a bra!” but not “she looks hideous…what did Tom ever see in her”. Big difference between the two comments.
No, this is not a site for avid fans only, BUT it is a fan site, which means the purpose of TomKatCrazy is to have a place for fans to come for their daily pictures, gossip and news. It should be a place fans feel comfortable coming to. There are many, many, many places where those who are bothered by the “fan site” concept can go and say whatever is on their mind. If you do not like Tom and Katie, then I can say that this isn’t the place for you. It won’t be “flowery” as some have stated, but I will not post everything out there about the couple. Some of it is pure rubbish and ridiculous and is conjured up by people who truly hate Tom and Katie with a vengeance.
Sure, I still plan on reporting about some of the gossip that is out there, but in a respectful way.
