Katie Holmes is Taking Her Broadway Debut Very Seriously!

Some guests at New York’s Carlyle Hotel reportedly saw a very serious Katie Holmes conducting business meetings and they could tell that she means business.
“This is a different Katie than what we’ve seen when she was here with Tom,” a guest tells OK!. “She was very serious in a series of business meetings to discuss her Broadway debut. She was listening intently and jotting down notes.”
The guest continued, “At one point, her phone rang and she silenced it to focus on the meeting.”
It doesn’t sound like Katie is going to let anything or anyone distract her from doing her best in “All My Sons“. It’s obvious she knows how serious this is for her career and that there are going to be a lot of people watching and reporting about how she does. I am really, really hoping that she does amazing and that this sets her up for some big time roles in the future, if that’s what she wants.
Katie will be spending some time traveling back and forth between New York and LA, but will make New York her primary residence.
A Broadway insider tells OK!, “Katie is a very strong and determined young lady who isn’t afraid of hard work to get what she wants.”

Ok, let’s look at this logically:
Is she holding the meetings in the hotel lobbey or something?
What is there left to meet about other than rehearsals?
How do they know it wasn’t just an unimportant phone call? If she didn’t want to be distracted by her phone, she would have turned the stupid phone off so she wouldn’t hear it ring.
Also, who is the mysterious “source”, her Scientology handler? I would think guests at the hotel would be powerful and rich enough that they would not be starstruck by Katie.
Also, does this guest live at the hotel or something? They are implying they live there and see KH and Cruise every time they are there.
Too many holes in this story for it to be true.
Well, I said on the previous post, she was like this with Mad Money.
Also, I think if this “source” said Katie was making out with a guy in the hotel lobbey, everyone here would have said it was a lie. So, how do we know this is not a LIE? Amazing how if it is positive about KH and TC, it must be true, but if it is negative, it is a lie.
We’ll see what happens! More power to her and break a leg!!
Supposedly she held a series of business meetings in front of hotel guests. And, they know she’s dead serious this time (unlike last time) because she turned off her cell phone. This is comical.
If this happened which I doubt, it couldn’t have been TC calling. She would NEVER silence her phone or ignore a call from him. He would have some kind of fit. LOLOL
I used to work in a VERY up scale hotel and the TOP hotel guests would ALWAYS hold their SUPER important meetings in the hotel lobby for all the viewing world to see and overhear. NOT!
Interesting story. I like the fact that she is expanding her horizons and going into theatre. I wish I could see the play. I hope there are many more to come.
Anon, you have done it again. I wish you could say what you have just said to non fans who believe every negative story about Tom and Katie. When they are positive they call them lies or PR, planted by their publicist. Your sword always cuts on one side. Your points may be valid like this one but it could be fairer if you questioned those who believed tabloids only when they said negative stuff too.
It is important to conduct business meetings to be a good actress. Yay for Katie!
i think when katie has a meeting,i’m sure it is in a private room. the best of katie always comes out in a serious or dramatic role. she comes across as quite vunerable but i can’t help thinking there is more to katie than meets the eye. lots more.
