Now yes it is possible she’s drinking steamed milk, or hot chocolate or something else entirely, but come on Katie! You’re in the public eye, if pregnant women see you drinking 12 huge cups of what looks like coffee per day they might think it’s ok to drink coffee while pregnant. It’s totally irresponsible of you to set that example. Maybe she thinks her alien baby with Tom Cruise is immune to the effects of caffeine…

It is totally fine to drink coffee while you’re pregnant. New age-y urban legend that you can’t.

Caffeine is a simulant. You should not give simulants to unborn children!
And it is possible that it’s decaf, or hot chocolate - but there IS something wrong with pregnant women drinking coffee of the regular caffeinated variety.

There is NOT anything wrong with a pregnant woman drinking coffee…EVEN caffeinated coffee. When I was pregnant (BOTH times) my dr. told me it was perfectly fine to drink a few cups of regular coffee per day. If you do a little research you will see that researchers are now discovering that it takes an enormous emount of caffeine intake for the stimulant to even cross the placenta anyway.
On another note, Starbucks offers a wide variety of drinks as you should know. Katie could be drinking decaf coffee, decaf tea, hot chocolate, steamed milk…
It is pretty ridiculous of anyone to assume that a pregnant woman drinking out of a Starbucks cup is doing something to intentionally harm her baby.

God, I think I would like to have Jon Voight’s child, maybe Roman Polanski can do a re-make of Rosemary’s baby with Brad Pitt as a Priest, and Nicole Kidman as the grandmother. Leave them all alone…………..
