Katie Holmes: ‘Don’t Mess With My Family!’
The words “It’s Over!” and “Trial Separation” have been splashed all over the internet and tabloids about Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. OK! Magazine reportedly spoke to a friend of the actress and they say how hard this has been on Katie and how angry all of this has made her.
“Katie wishes she didn’t care about the gossip and rumors, but it is hard for her not to,” a friend of the actress tells OK!. The 29-year-old wife and mother recently told her pal how angry she is over this new round of hurtful tales about her marriage.
“She is such a sweet person and never has anything bad to say about anyone,” the friend tells OK!. “She doesn’t understand why some people are wishing problems on her and Tom.“
When asked how Katie keeps it all together, the friends said that she goes on like business as usual. They also say that she’ll keep a smile on in public and keep the hurt hidden at home with her and Tom.
Marriage can already be hard, and then if you add on top of that the fact that you are in the spotlight and under a microscope, I don’t see how any Hollywood marriage can last and be healthy. I do hope that if Katie is happy and healthy in her marriage that her and Tom can survive this, especially for little Suri’s sake.

Katie you look so depressed, such sorrow in your eyes, it leads people to think you are not happy with your life. If you are happy in your life, that’s good, but then why do you look so miserable?
Maybe a nice smile on your face would show everyone you are truly a happy person. People would be so reassured to know that.
You may have brought some of this upon yourself not realizing it. So perk up, look cheery, you have so much that is perfect, so much most of the world will never have. Grab your husband and hug him up, grab your daughter and just smooch all over her, smile. Put those rumors to rest.

I do not believe any of this…..its always a friend said this, or a source close to the family said that…..why cant Katie herself make a statement to the press/media if these negative comments hurt her so much. I would like to actually see her and no unamed source publicize a comment.

OK magazine fabricates stories so am sure this is no different. The reason stars have publicists is to answer questions like that or any allegations. Their people have denied the rumour, though not with that so called quote that was fabricated.
I doubt whether her detractors would believe her even if she released videos about her private life or did a DNA on Suri on TV or was analysed by Dr Phil. So she should keep mum like she is doing and go about her life. She should not lower her level to some of these allagations. They are just to base. The best answer to her critics is a smile on her face.

This is one story in a rag mag… the others tell something different. I happen to think the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think Tom can charm the socks off of someone in person. He definitely is a charismatic type person. However, he also is a take charge sort of perfectionist as well. So I believe their relationship is somewhere in the middle. Often when guys his age marry the really younger woman, they tend to be more controlling. I truly think she is overwhelmed at times and needs space. Where can she get that? At home where there is a security system that is EVERYWHERE all the time and so is most of his family all around her all the time. She goes shopping and there are security guards and minders. Oh can she call anyone and just chat. No once again everything is monitored. Could she take Suri and just go to her folk’s home to visit like many young mothers do at times. Nope once again not alone. Bottom line did Tom and she create some of the frenzy going on around them?? YES they sure did. From the time she sort of just disappeared for a couple of weeks in April 2005 until they were declaring their love around the world, getting engaged after what 2 months at the Eiffel Tower. Tom saying he wanted to marry her and then waiting almost 2 years. Showing off the pregnancy EVERYWHERE and then after the baby was born-nothing for SEVEN months? They created a lot of the mess they are in–well I think Tommy did. He is the older and more experienced by far of the two. She went along with it because like I have said before TC is like a force of nature. Hard to keep up with him when he is in full motion.

It’s so funny with the tabloids………..They declare loudly Katie has no friends yet when they want to write up a negative story on her and Tom these “really close friend sources” are quoted every which way with details on Katie’s inner most thoughts and how/what she thinks.
Really, really strange how that works.
Dr. Phil and his wife said Oprah told them (they are dogged by rumors in the tabloids that they are divorcing) they the tabloids writers/editors sit in a room and decide who can they lie about today. She advised them to ignore it.

If Tom was that controlling or such a bad person, then some one somewhere would have said it, every one knows Mariah is a diva and Jlo is hard to work to work with. I have never heard any one who worked with him or has personally met him say they found him over bearing. I don’t remember which musician met him at the Beckham welcome party and was ready to find him weird and stuck up only to find him really nice and congenial. It is people who have never had a personal relationship like Friedman, tabloids and bloggers who constantly testify that he is controlling.
I agree he may charm the pants off a nun, and he may also be a stickler to detail, but I sincerely believe that when they are not in the spotlight like the month before Suri’s birthday, a lot goes on and they lead pretty normal lives.
Katie doesn’t look stifled to me, she looks like she is wary of the public, other than that, she seems to be handling all the madness pretty well. Not all women are the same, some women love men who take charge, especially those who marry older men, nothing bad with that, it doesn’t make them unhappy or stifled. We are all different.

She was an interview once where she said she reads tabloid stories about her family. I think her popularity turned negative mainly because she sold herself to Scientology. If she had told Tom she wanted him, but not Scientology, people would have had greater respect for her. You could never in a million years convince me that a young catholic girl from a midwestern family who is well adjusted and has a promising career would join their organization without pressure, in this case most likely emotional pressure. From everything I read, most people join it because they have problems.

For one thing she could NEVER use the words she was angry. Co$ does not allow emotions like that. Everything is always positive. You surround yourself with only positive, amazing words and feelings.
At tc’s level he doesn’t do negative. The attacking is left to those under him. He would never allow the tabs in his home for kh to see.

I, by chance, saw that interview with Matt Lauer. To be honest, I was a little bit taken aback. His comments were negative and as Tyler put it, a little bit on the arrogant side. This was actually a side of the guy I really hadn’t seen before.

As other posters have said, Katie is grounded, so well adjusted, with an amazing perfect life, TC is a kind gentleman, so this is mostly the contamination by the tabloids and haters. TC and KH have a perfectly amazing life, and a fortune, they are blessed and should live their perfect life to the fullest, there is no reason Katie should feel anger, she should be fill with joy. They have a special love and a perfect amazing family, no negative emotions ever.

I remember Queen Latifa saying that they went shopping during the shoot of mad money and after seeing Tom and Katie and how happy they were, it was weird going into the store and seeing the cover of a magazine with yet another split story especially when she was with Katie herself.
Katie told Dianne Sawyer that she does not let it bother her because it would be wasting her life which is better off spending happy. Good attitude!
To that end, I doubt this story is true.
I have seen wierder things happen than a mid western cathotlic girl change her beliefs when she is head over heels in love.
Why would any one say her popularity turned negative? Her fan base is bigger than ever and a part from afew vocal angry people, I don’t know many people who don’t like her. She was not that famous before she met TC and now she is famous, with that kind of fame, not every one will like her, but in my estimation, she is a very popular actress, that is why even giving out cup cakes on her film set gets most hits on people magazine’s web site. Believe me, it is not because people dislike her.
Tabloids will make money and don’t care about any one or what they write. Has Aniston’s popularity turned negative? Stories are always fabricated about her and yet all polls show she is still America’s most popular actress.

I have just been watching box office numbers and Michelle William’s movie deception has opened much weaker than mad money taking in only 750K on its opening day. Its reviews have been awaful. She is the actress I can best compare Katie to careerwise. I couldn’t help thinking that if it had been Katie, people would have jumped to all sorts of conclusions.

Mary, three years is nothing. They’re still in their honeymoon stage. It’s been only a year after all since he swept her off her feet in a lavish italian castle wedding. The day’s young.
If she truly embraces Scientology for herself and not for him, then they probably will be in it for the long haul. But, if she did it to please him, she’s not going to be happy.

Like I said, she is not the first to change her faith. Katie is private and I don’t see her courting publicity. Tom may enjoy it and she goes a long because she loves him and we make surprises for the people we love.
Besides, Movie perfomance has nothing to do with privacy, a dud is a dud and Michelle had one, no one is talkingof end of career. That is what I call double standards.

Does anyone know how young children are when they begin auditing classes? Does anyone know what age children begin taking any kind of Scientology course? Wonder if Suri has already started taking any kind of doctrination. We all know she began her diet following the Scientology method since day 1 but I wonder how old children are when they begin learning about Scientology?

I can clearly see Scientology works for Tom. Being on top in his career for that long without even a drink and drvie charge is not an easy feat. He does not do drugs and from all information we have, rumours or otherwise, he is a straight honest person.
For what he has been through in these last three years, another celeb would have cracked, but not Tom, he still has his gorgeous smile and still the most polite celebrity out there. It may be a weird faith but clearly it works for some. I guess the end justfies the means.
If Suri starts so called auditing sessions now to avoid ending up like Britney, then hooray to auditing or whatever they do.

I’m sorry, but their isn’t a religion that you can be involved in that will raise your kids for you. You may gain a certain level of guidance or wisdom, but YOU are the parent and have to be there to raise your own children. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a deeply religious person, but I also realize that if I don’t have a strong influence in children’s lives, someone else will, sometimes with dire consequences. The Britney/Jamie Lynn saga had a lot to do with the scenerio that can occur when parents stop parenting. It can cross any “religion.” Bottom line, kids need to be raised and have their parents strongly influencing their lives. We, as parents, should never get too busy to raise our children.

I agree with Doug regarding his comment about raising your kids. Religion can play a big part of helping to influence how someone parents a child but at the end of the day there is only that parent standing there making decisions, not a church. There are too many children out there today in Hollywood and elsewhere who don’t have strong parental influences in their lives. The kids are allowed to parent themselves and make decisions that they are too young to make because they do not know what is best for them. I also think it is sort of naive for people to say that it doesn’t matter what someone believes in as long as it works for them. Not all beliefs are positive ones that everyone should just be tolerant of or approve of blindly because someone “believes in it”. If George Clooney suddenly announced that he is a card carrying member of the K K K would people just say “oh, well as long as it works for him” ? Or if it came to light that someone else in the media worships the devil and participates in whatever rituals are part of that belief would people just be tolerant of that?

TOMKAT is the most famous perfect couple+their kids. Love their movies. Only some people maybe dont like them, BUT millions love them. TOMKAT, YOU ARE SO BLESSED….
