Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise Out in New York

Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise were spotted out and about in NYC Thursday (September 25). They were both dropped off at the Gerard Schoenfeld Theatre because Katie has some more rehearsing to do before she is full on into the Broadway scene.
Suri was carrying her beloved baby doll and has added a stuffed giraffe to her collection. I can not imagine lugging that big white blanket all over the place. It looks soft and comfy, but man, the thing is HUGE!
UPDATE:Tom Cruise’s rep says that the story he re-hired his sister as his publicist is NOT true. Just thought you’d like to know. 
In other TomKat news, word on the street is that Tom Cruise has rehired his sister, Lee Anne DeVette, as his publicist.
A source told OK! Magazine that he wanted someone he could trust. They also said, “Katie’s busy with her play in New York for the next six months. He needed someone to step in and take over. And Lee Anne stepped up to the plate.”
Well, that was nice of her. Let’s hope it works out with Tom and his sis.

I just think Suri is absolutely beautiful. Tom & Katie seem to be very good parents. I’m sure they have Nanny’s for Suri but it is obvious that they are also very much “hands on” parents. People, if you don’t have anything nice to say about this family don’t say anything at all. I just can’t understand why people have to write mean things about how Katie or Suri look. They are both adorable!
Those huge blankets are a bit much. But at least we aren’t seeing Suri out and about sucking down the bottle of barley milk – now it’s done in the privacy of the SUV or at home.
For a three year old, Katie is sure keeping her like a wee baby. It will be a miracle if they ever potty train her since she is always on the move!
Since the poor dear doesn’t have much stability in her life those nursery room blankies and stuffed animals give her a sense of security.
Do Katie’s two bodyguards also serve as daycare providers at the theater while Katie rehearses?
I give Katie a lot of credit, even with all the help…it is a hectic schedule being on broadway that much. my friend saw her the other day getting a coffee and said she looked exhausted…my question is, who wouldnt be? Good luck katie keep up the good work.

Katie has such a naturally beautiful face….why, oh why must she dress in such dreadfully dowdy and ill-matched combinations? A gray, dressy sportjacket, with skinny jeans, a western style brown belt and bronze ballet flats? What a ridiculous combination.

Just yesterday, I happened to leave a voicemail message for 2nd-born Sophie’s and 1st-born Stoune’s biological father: Chris Caputo of NYC’s Fortress Group, Inc..
I think Katie’s sly smile is a definite give away as well.
Hasn’t anyone noticed how much fuller Sophie’s lips are than Suri’s?! In the second and third picture above, it actually appears that Sophie is even attempting to make her lips look thinner.
They may be only 2 1/2 years old, but don’t you dare underestimate just how smart these little ones are.
I can’t wait to see what our boy, Stoune, looks like nowadays. Stoune was the baby on the cover of Vanity Fair.
Now that Tom’s sister is back to being his publicist, I am absolutely positive that I will have far more luck getting through to Tom Cruise. Lee Anne was the only one of Tom’s publicists who ever gave him any one of my messages.

Suri is sooo cute. There are photos at X17 of Suri eating ice cream and carrying a small handbag herself. She looks so adorable with red shoes and a mini bag.
How do you know if the blanket is being caried around as Suri might be having a nap while Kathy does her rehearsals? Lots of young children rest in the afternoons, even at day care centers. Give us a break. Does anyone analyse their own lives so much

Suri is simply gorgeous. I can never have enough pictures of her. I don’t see why we should imagine Suri is on a bottle even when she does not have it.

Julie, that is two blankets not one. Maybe Katie takes two to work in case one gets dirty or something happens to it. I does look comfy I agree.

Yep. That’s certainly true. I just googled the Tom fansites and found that one of them has a statement from Rogers & Cowan stating that that rumor is false. It’s called Tom Cruise Forever.
That rumor must be all over the place. I don’t go to gossip sites but even I heard it on the radio. It immediately seemed suspect to me. Tom’s a decent businessman. I didn’t think he’d be silly enough to dump an agency as large and powerful as R & C to go with his sister again. After all, look how well that turned out the first time! LOL!
Back on topic, Suri looks adorable as usual. I don’t understand the reason for the blanket always covering her either, or for that matter, the dresses and the lack of shoe. You’d think they’d just put a jacket on her and that by now the nannies and Katie would have more control over her. I do understand the purpose of the second blanket though. Suri probably wanted one for her dolly too! That’s something my daughter would have wanted at that age. LOL!
Did anyone notice the tear on the shoulder of Suri’s dress! LOL! She must have played hard in that dress!
One more thing…..I really don’t understand why Katie looks so somber while walking to and from the theater! She has a very pretty smile! I wish she’d flash it more often!!
IF your going to remove my comment towards Jenna you should also remove her comment! She shouldn’t be allowed to print that Suri needs Child Therapy. That is an awful thing to say about a 2 yr. old child.

A two year old child that I doubt the writer has ever met or has had any interaction with whatsoever!
Is Jenna crazy? This is the 1st picture of Suri with 2 blankets and there is always a reason why people do things esp when you have children around? If she thinks Suri needs therapy for this, I’d hate to see what she thinks of children in general.

Thank you Mary and Jan for your support! It is really awful that people are allowed to print such hateful things about an innocent child; I will never understand why some people are so nasty! It’s nice to see there are good people out there like you.
Only some one without kids can judge a mother or a child. Each child is different and as a mother you find your self improvising all the time for their confort, growth and generally for survival. Maybe the blankets are for Suri to sleep when she is tired after all she is there the whole day. And since every one is always complaining about Suri never wearing warm clothes, maybe it is for this reason that she is allowed to have a blanket. Zahara Jolie has a blanket when she is almost 4.
I agree saying a child needs therapy is in bad taste.
I’ve always thought the barley milk in the bottle rumour nonsense, but I think that when winter hits in NYC, Suri will have to be dressed warmer, she loves her dolls and furry friends, I wish Icould have heard what she was saying to that dollin the childrens wear shop, some weeks back , her actions and facial expressions were so adorable. Did you guys see the mess Suri made of herself eating chocolate icecream, it was all over her face , her hands and her mothers jeans, just too cute ,it was on x17.

I can’t beleive you guys never picked up on this…..Ok, Suri used to have the small sized blanket for herself. Now Katie has a bigger blanket for Suri. The small blanket, is now being used by Suri to carry and wrap her baby and giraffe in. How gorgeous is that? She’s being a little mother hen. I think Suri gave her blanket to her dolls, so it would now be her dolls blanket. So Katie obviously went and got her another one but not the same size of course, no, because the small one is a babies blanket. So Suri needs a big girls blanket!! so coot

Suri is an innocent child. Please be respectful towards that. I will start banning anyone who chooses to attack her in any way, shape or form.
Is Katie wearing a catholic cross or scientology cross? I can’t tell… the scientology cross could look like a conventional cross form a distance.
Wow, Katy is a great mother and she is one of the best mothers! Keep it up Katy, you are doing great! Lucky Family! Tom is very lucky to have her and Suri.
suri is the sweetest litle girl,just like her mother,and father ofcourse.;p.katie and tom are so great people,even if y don’t know them very well.like them,speacilly litle suri.;))
