  His new movie is regarded as anti-American. That’s just what he needed, to tank his remaining image. The beard robot wife and troll baby also are a part of his weird image. His two adopted children are probably back home in LA, getting further brainwashing from TC’s sister. Or, they may have already beamed up to the mother ship.

  Carla, have you seen the movie? Its so unbelievable how people who haven’t seen it are going around calling the moive anti-American. If anything it does America a favour. I saw it and it wasn’t liberal propaganda at all. In fact, I’d say it put a more caring face on conservatives. As European I’m against the War in Iraq and I saw LFL yesterday and if anything I kind of understand where the conservative/Bush are coming from because I was kind of sympathetic to the senator.
  Anyways the movie did come close to its box office expectation of $8m and did better than all the other war movies released recently, that includes Rendition which opened in more theaters than LFL and the movie stars 3 big actors that included Merly Streep and the one and only Reese Witherspoon who is one of America’s biggest box-office draws.
  No one expected LFL to be a blockbuster. Its a low budget movie and I personally think UA did a good job by starting with a serious movie that has message with 3 of the best actors around and not go down the route of Rambo style movie for its first movie.

You mentioned that you are European, and you are against the IRAQ war. I’m curious as to what your reasons are. As an American, from a family who are active naval military officers, I am aware that our presence in IRAQ, is necessary, just as our presence on GUAM is necessary. We are in a cold war with Russia, China and Iran. Instead of all the bullcrap that is highlighted in the media, they should report the truth about what the global problems really are.

  Regarding the L for L movie, my opinion of it is that it portrays American policy and politicians as evil and bad. Redford has always been anti-American, and I believe this movie is portraying his continual hatred of his country. My recommendation for him is if he hates something so much, then he should take all his money that he made from Americans who made him rich, in this land of opportunity and freedom, to leave and live somewhere else, where he would be happier. Belive me, he will not be missed.

  Wonder what fashion Queen and child will do when TC does not have money to finance them? She will most likely leave for the next Sugar Daddy.
  Apparently, Lions is doing badly, which is what was predicted. Apparently, it is Cruise’s worst film to date. Also, they are predicting Valkyrie will do even worse next Summer. Go to fox news. There is an article explaining it all, including how Cruise has managed to tickoff Meryl Streep and Redford to the point where it is very apparent they want nothing to do with Cruise and crew. The article also says that it will negatively effect future funding of any film Cruise wants because his big investors are considering pulling out.
  I think they prefer the French and Italians, that is where KH spends all her money!!
  What a waste…How can they be like everyone else when they don’t wear the same thing twice? I mean, what a liar and hypocrite they all are!!!!

  I read that article from FOx news onlie, also. I wouldn’t want to be around that guy right now!! He has to be in a foul mood. This should also teach him something very valuable. We all know that in life there are always people who are not going to like us, but this man let his arrogance get the best of him and lost respect for other people. Yeah, the movie may not have been that great, but a lot of people wouldn’t see anything this man is in because of his character of lack thereof. A lot of stuff happening to him now was brought on by his own behavior and belief that people were stupid enough to buy tickets to a “Tom Cruise” film just because he was in it. He really underestimated the general public. Another instance of an actor who’s personal life and missteps hinders their PROFESSIONAL career!

  Regarding your first question I was/am against the Iraq war because, I always believed there was no WMD in Iraq and the US and Blair used that for a reason…..We were taken into the Iraq war not because of a terrorist attack like Afghanistan. The main bases of terrorism are in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia but USA supports both Governments.

  Your second point about Redford being anti-American. If you don’t support the current American policies does that mean you’re labelled as anti-American? Where is the democracy in that and freedom of expression?
  I understand you reason for thinking this moive will be anti-american but I think that is a wrong assamption and you not the only one I’ve read this from other too.

  I know you’re not interested to see this movie in cinema but at least watch it on TV and judge it and everyone involved for yourself before judging it.

  If a person doesn’t support the current American policies, that does not mean that they are anti-American. That is the beauty of our freedom of speech. However, I was referring to Redford, specifically. Redford does not only talk against the current President and his administration, he has been against his countries policies, since the VietNam War. There are videos showing Redford and his friends, Bill and Hillary Clinton, spitting at American soldiers coming off of planes, returning from VietNam. Redford and his pals, including radicals like Jane Fonda, who by the way, lost her power as an actress, after she was so anti-American, have never supported any American policies. It’s going to be an interesting Presidential election next year. My prediction, is that, despite all of the negative rhetoric that the Bush administration has undergone, this country is not yer ready for a scientologist or a moslem to be its leader.

  What I am saying, in my opinion, is that America is not ready for anyone, other than someone who professes to follow Christianity, to run this country.   Yes Katie wears things twice just check her website style section and if you’re so worried about Katie’s clothes don’t worry designers dress stars mostly for free.

  About UA investors, if you check you’ll see they have found themselves great investors and this is the first movie, nobody in the business is stupid enough to judge them based on this moive, which from the start everyone in the business including the producers of the movie knew it won’t be a ground breaking.
  Also don’t forget LFL managed to do better than all the other movies dealing with the war on terror (I’ll say that is because of Tom Cruise) I personally wouldn’t have seen the movie for Redford or even for Streep (still hasn’t seen Rendtion which took more money to film than LFL)

  I could care less about KH’s fashion. It is ugly and very impractical for hands-on mothering, which I dount she does any way because she is too busy shopping and exercising.
  I just would like to see all these Hollywood idiots brought down a notch or two, especially when they put this “I am down to earth and like everybody else crap.” that the Cruises try to pull off to win brownie points with the public.

  The only reason people care about either one of these idiots is because they are so good at exploiting Suri for their own gain. No other celeb needs to have their kid plastered all over the magazines to get people to notice them.
  As for KH, she is exploiting her relationship with Cruise and Suri for her own gain. She was a nobody until she got herself knocked up by TC. Now, she is only photographed because she is with either one of them and I am sure she knows that too!!

  Okay, I am guessing you are mentioning Billy Boy’s meetings with Travolta and the times that Cruise and whatever honey visited the White House to talk about religious persecution in Western Euope.

  Three things:
  1) If Cruise and Scien. are sooooo concerned about religious persecution in Western Europe, why is KH allowed to shop there and support their economies? Why was Cruise allowed to film in Germany and bring how much money there as well? Seems like Cruise and Scien. clan are not that concerned about so-called religious persecution. They have done their share to support these governments. I am glad the White House ignored them about imposing sanctions like Cruise and clan wanted. (I wonder if the White House was laughing about what idiots Cruise and clan were afterwards.)
  2) With all of Al Gore’s flirting with and ingratiating of Hollywood, is he somehow part of the conspiracy?
  3) It sounds like Hollywood is getting sick of Scientology and Cruise’s whatever and they are putting the stops on Scientology.
  Cruise is certainly making an idiot of himself with his mouth. How come KH has not been drafted as a spokeswoman yet? Suri, I can honestly say, has become their poster child. (And Cruise did not want her modeling for Baby Gap!! He could at least be getting some of the clothes free and making more money for himself.)

  I don’t know, Mama I don’t think the KH of 2 years ago was smart or conniving enough to have done all this for her own gain. I think she was totally star struck by TC and when the scienos took her away and said “TC wants to date you, here’s what you have to do” she just said OK because she was blinded by her giddiness over him. I think since becoming Mrs TC and having Suri, she has begun to exploit herself and child to stay in it, but I’m not so sure that’s what she set out to do. It seems to me like if it was her plan all along, she would look happier. She looks to me like over time she has come to realize that the life she bought into was not at all what she expected.

  I agree that she does not look as happy, but she stayed for the money, etc. and she is exploiting her kid, which is wrong. I know this is a cruel saying, but: She made her bed and she has to lie in it.
  I could care less about her happiness because she is using a child for herself. She even used Connor and Isabella for her own gain and that was when she started the whole charade and was happy.
  Yes, she was smart enough to do this for her own gain. Isn’t this how the whole thing began…greed, fame, etc.? How much was she paid for Suri? Who “dates” someone for fake and is not doing it for their own gain? The lack of brains came in when she agreed to all the silliness and to bring a kid into it. How many women had brains enough to tell Cruise to drop dead or to at least use birth control?

  Suri insured her contract with Cruise and the money and I think KH knew that!!!! I still think she planned her pregnancy so she could keep the goodies that were offered her.
  KH volunteeered for it all—No family contact, friends, etc. She wanted the money and fame without earning it.

  I am sorry to sound harsh, but I can’t see feeling sorry someone who exploits kids and others for their gain the way she has. I will not be on the “poor KH” bandwagon when her sorry bottom is dropped like yesterday’s garbage.
  She is using Suri for her gain, which is inexcusable especially for a a so-called mom who loves her kid!!! Moms are supposed to protect their kids from people who will use them, not be the one doing it.
  She also USED Connor and Isabella and now she has dropped them because they are no longer cool. That is not the behavior of a decent person. She used those two in beginning of this whole charade!!

I completely understand what you are saying and very often I agree with you 100% Most of the time I see this relationship as a business deal and think she knew full well what she was getting into and agree that she has used his adopted children to try and make herself look good, and she is definitley using Suri to keep herself in the public eye. Just once in a while, I think, could someone really do that? Could someone really be so spineless and greedy? I think there is a part of me that tries to sympathize with her in some way. (I’m a nurse. I try to care for everyone, just in my nature). I try to give her the benefit of the doubt and just believe she got in over her head. But then you make your points the way you do and I feel like I see her in a whole new light. Viscious, conniving, fame loving, money hungry shallow, dirty, pathetic w h o r e!   Part of me does feel sorry for her because I know she will be dropped like Nicole and also because she has to live with what she has done.
  But then I see the pics of her shopping, dressing up for the premiers like she is this great fashion model, or showing Suri to the world the way she does and it makes me angry.
  It also annoys me that I have to see everyone portraying her as mom of the year when there are millions of moms who do it for love, not a credit card, and who are being mom all the time, not when they feel like it or the cameras are clicking.
  She knew what she was doing and I honestly believe she tells herself that it is all fine, even today.
  What gets me is how anyone could sell themselves like that? I feel really bad for her parents who have to watch all of this and can’t say a word. I feel sorry for all the kids involved in this mess. I feel sorry for her that she thinks so little of herself (a s e x toy for Cruise, Scientology mascot, etc.) but it all goes to what she values–fame, money, fashion.
  Part of me hopes that she does fail in this fame getting campaign because maybe she will see how phoney she has been and what horrible things she has done. Maybe in one of her brainwashing sessions, she will make this realization.
  How come no one in Hollywood is telling them to stop exploiting their kid?

  Mama, I respect your comments and opinions very much. You seem like an intelligent person that I would probably be friends with if we knew each other in life. My husband is in town for a few days (yes, we live in different cities, odd, but it works for us) and we have been celebrating. I have had too much wine at this point to make a lucid comment. I’m afraid I will sound like a bumbling idiot. However, I discovered I Hate Tom Cruise website the other night when I was bored at work and made some comments on it that are much more to my point. I commented on the thread that currently opens the site, TC and KH are gross, the one with them dancing at the D and VB welcome party, and on an archive that I think was the first thread on the site from maybe June 2006… The things I said there are how I really feel about this couple. Today, my thoughts are tainted with wine and my gorgeous naked husband!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Did I really say that????? Peace— out for now!

  Look at the 3rd pic- (the first of the 8 smaller pics), I always walk with a body guard who has his hand on his exposed gun, and drag my 18 month old baby out in public for no reason instead of leaving her with her nannies, and carry crisp new $100 bills in my jeans pocket. yep- all just “down to earth’ and “totally normal”. :P

  I was on vacation in TN a few months ago and I saw Nicole and Keith with Bella and Connor and they all looked to be having a great time.
  they were just strolling up the street window shopping, laughing and telling jokes.
  I didn’t know they spent time together until I saw it with my own eyes

  I am not sure what is funnier: the part about KH playing a brilliant scientist, the taco/crepe wrap in the back of her dress, or the way she is towering over her husband and has her wrapped around him like a mom would with her grown kid!!!! At first I though she had a bad case of static cling.

  I thought being Cruise’s wife she would get to star with A-list stars. It looks like she is still making crappy d-list movies. I although this one is probably more s-list (Scientology list). I guess the Scientologists can give KH movie roles since no one else will and i am sure Cruise will play a major role in the directing of everything.

  I think Suri is a very pretty child and I love the clothes she wears. She always looks so cute and put-together. Katie looks pretty here too and I love the green coat. I also sort of like the dress she is wearing in the pics from the JJ link. I think it is very different and I applaud her for wearing something like that. I don’t know if I would wear something like it but that doesn’t detract from it’s style. I wish Tom would do something with his hair though. Now that the movie is over he should get it cut or something.

  I think Katie’s make up looks nice in those pictures too and I love her earrings. I also like how she looks more polished at important events like movie screenings or awards and then when we see candid shots like the ones here she looks more like a “regular” person….like she didn’t spend hours and hours on her appearance.

  She probably still spent hours with her beautician and fashion director to get that look.

  Somehow I doubt it took hours to achieve this look as her hair looks like she simply washed it and let it dry naturally. I wish I could do that with my own hair sometimes but if I do it looks like a bottle brush!

  When she was a nobody, she was always scruffy looking, stringy, oily hair hanging down that looked unbrushed. Well, when the makeup artists don’t do their magic on her, she looks the same as she did back then. In fact, she keeps the kid looking just like her. No, she hasn’t changed her physical appearance much, except for the fact that her clothes are designer now. And her bank account is very full and healthy.

  I think KH is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. She was even as a teen. She has grown to be absolutlely stunning!

  I also like that she take Suri with her on her outings. I often wonder why these other stars have children just to lock them away with nannies.

  It’s my opinion that she was duped in the LOVE department by Tom. That is why she looks so sad and lonely so very often. He put on that big show in the beginning and probably just had her heart bursting with love, excitement and hope for a love-filled, fun life. I think HE was the one acting….finding a woman young and stunning to boost his standing. Face it…he’s not sexy or cool any more (and what is with the 3 piece suits? He just looks like an old fatty!). On the other hand, she is the one that the photogs are after…not him.

  I do find it heartbreaking to see her walking alone in places like Paris looking so sad and alone.

  It’s my belief that she is a very good mother. I think Suri is adorable. As for all of that bottle nonsense I keep reading? I have a full grown daughter and she stil had a bottle at 2 yrs. old. 3 different children doctors told me that if a child needs if for security or whatever, to go ahead and let them have one. That they all develop at different stages. My daughter’s teeth turned out perfectly and she is an amazing and accomplished young woman.

  In closing, I have to wonder where all of this vitrol and hatred comes from as I read your comments.

  well….she’s clearly had her lips and nose done…which is ridiculous…..she really is one of the flawless natural beauties in my opinion

  I could care less about her lonliness and unhappiness. She volunteered for the life with Cruise. Did she honestly believe Cruise was in love with her from one interview? If she did, then nothing must working between the ears. She is using Cruise just as much as he is using her. She wanted the fame and money without the work.

  I hate the way she has used Suri. The paps. are not there to photograph KH but Suri and KH knows it. She also is probably aware that the reason people care what she wears is because of Cruise and now Suri.

  KH thinks nothing of using any kid for her own gain. She did it with Connor and Bella in the beginning and is now doing it with Suri.

  Most celebs keep their kids away from the press and not parade them around every chance they get, especially when there is a movie to promote or Scientology beliefs, because they want to protect their kids from the silliness of the photographers and have a somewhat normal life.

  The other thing I hate is what has KH done with her new fame and money other than shop and exploit her kid. It has certainly not been to get any decent acting roles or to help others.

  As for the mother thing, she has how many nannies, hairdressers, etc to make her life easy. She gets tired/bored, she can walk away from Suri. Now how many REAL MOTHERS who are probably better than her in that department, can’t do that? How many stay because they have to when KH will just walk away because she is bored/tired? Does that make her a good mother because she photographed walking in stillettos and designer clothes with the kid in Paris or Berlin?

  I could care less about the bottle/blanket thing.
