Part of me does feel sorry for her because I know she will be dropped like Nicole and also because she has to live with what she has done.
But then I see the pics of her shopping, dressing up for the premiers like she is this great fashion model, or showing Suri to the world the way she does and it makes me angry.
It also annoys me that I have to see everyone portraying her as mom of the year when there are millions of moms who do it for love, not a credit card, and who are being mom all the time, not when they feel like it or the cameras are clicking.
She knew what she was doing and I honestly believe she tells herself that it is all fine, even today.
What gets me is how anyone could sell themselves like that? I feel really bad for her parents who have to watch all of this and can’t say a word. I feel sorry for all the kids involved in this mess. I feel sorry for her that she thinks so little of herself (a s e x toy for Cruise, Scientology mascot, etc.) but it all goes to what she values–fame, money, fashion.
Part of me hopes that she does fail in this fame getting campaign because maybe she will see how phoney she has been and what horrible things she has done. Maybe in one of her brainwashing sessions, she will make this realization.
How come no one in Hollywood is telling them to stop exploiting their kid?
Taurus: Honestly, I ask myself too: How can anyone intentionally do this? But look at the pics and we can see why and how she justifies it.
Mama, I respect your comments and opinions very much. You seem like an intelligent person that I would probably be friends with if we knew each other in life. My husband is in town for a few days (yes, we live in different cities, odd, but it works for us) and we have been celebrating. I have had too much wine at this point to make a lucid comment. I’m afraid I will sound like a bumbling idiot. However, I discovered I Hate Tom Cruise website the other night when I was bored at work and made some comments on it that are much more to my point. I commented on the thread that currently opens the site, TC and KH are gross, the one with them dancing at the D and VB welcome party, and on an archive that I think was the first thread on the site from maybe June 2006… The things I said there are how I really feel about this couple. Today, my thoughts are tainted with wine and my gorgeous naked husband!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Did I really say that????? Peace— out for now!
I’m on the East coast. I work nights, so I never sleep when I’m not working. I’m sure I’ll be haunting my house around 3 AM when the rest of the world is sleeping… So, be back then.

It was a low budget movie? So was Knocked Up….it’s budget was 27 mil and it’s grossed 217 mil……….
you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think that A LOT was riding on this movie. It was tc’s first effort as head of UA, everyone wanted to know….will he sink or swim?

Look at the 3rd pic- (the first of the 8 smaller pics), I always walk with a body guard who has his hand on his exposed gun, and drag my 18 month old baby out in public for no reason instead of leaving her with her nannies, and carry crisp new $100 bills in my jeans pocket. yep- all just “down to earth’ and “totally normal”.
It makes KH feel important. Besides, if you have been to DC, having an armed body guard is a good idea. LOL!!
Although I doubt KH was slumming it that much and was probably walking to her armored plated limo!!
Libra: Paramount has dumped Cruise for good. JJ Abrahms was seriously considering casting Cruise in the Star Trek movie and he didn’t. YEAH!!!!! At least Star Trek won’t be ruined by idiot and his trophy.
Seriously, Why were they in DC any way? Was Cruise begging more money for Scientology schools or was he upset about Western European persecution of Scientologists? Or maybe Bill needed his thetans cleared out?
Toledo Fan….I think the body guard has his hand on his gun to make sure that KH doesn’t run away. If she does then he’ll have to shoot her. These are just new rules set by TC because she ran in the NYC Marathon.

Again, where are the other two children?! He’s even got his super old mom hanging on the scene! Can’t wait to hear what Morton has to say about he and Katie’s relationship with HIS other two children. Wonder if they’re becoming uncontrollable teenagers and he’s just locked them way for fear of what they have to SAY about him. If they made him look good, you know he’d be flying them on kites all over the world.

I was on vacation in TN a few months ago and I saw Nicole and Keith with Bella and Connor and they all looked to be having a great time.
they were just strolling up the street window shopping, laughing and telling jokes.
I didn’t know they spent time together until I saw it with my own eyes

I am not sure what is funnier: the part about KH playing a brilliant scientist, the taco/crepe wrap in the back of her dress, or the way she is towering over her husband and has her wrapped around him like a mom would with her grown kid!!!! At first I though she had a bad case of static cling.
I thought being Cruise’s wife she would get to star with A-list stars. It looks like she is still making crappy d-list movies. I although this one is probably more s-list (Scientology list). I guess the Scientologists can give KH movie roles since no one else will and i am sure Cruise will play a major role in the directing of everything.
I think Suri is a very pretty child and I love the clothes she wears. She always looks so cute and put-together. Katie looks pretty here too and I love the green coat. I also sort of like the dress she is wearing in the pics from the JJ link. I think it is very different and I applaud her for wearing something like that. I don’t know if I would wear something like it but that doesn’t detract from it’s style. I wish Tom would do something with his hair though. Now that the movie is over he should get it cut or something.
I like the front of the dress, but not the back.
I think Katie’s make up looks nice in those pictures too and I love her earrings. I also like how she looks more polished at important events like movie screenings or awards and then when we see candid shots like the ones here she looks more like a “regular” person….like she didn’t spend hours and hours on her appearance.
She probably still spent hours with her beautician and fashion director to get that look.
Somehow I doubt it took hours to achieve this look as her hair looks like she simply washed it and let it dry naturally. I wish I could do that with my own hair sometimes but if I do it looks like a bottle brush!
When she was a nobody, she was always scruffy looking, stringy, oily hair hanging down that looked unbrushed. Well, when the makeup artists don’t do their magic on her, she looks the same as she did back then. In fact, she keeps the kid looking just like her. No, she hasn’t changed her physical appearance much, except for the fact that her clothes are designer now. And her bank account is very full and healthy.
I think KH is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. She was even as a teen. She has grown to be absolutlely stunning!
I also like that she take Suri with her on her outings. I often wonder why these other stars have children just to lock them away with nannies.
It’s my opinion that she was duped in the LOVE department by Tom. That is why she looks so sad and lonely so very often. He put on that big show in the beginning and probably just had her heart bursting with love, excitement and hope for a love-filled, fun life. I think HE was the one acting….finding a woman young and stunning to boost his standing. Face it…he’s not sexy or cool any more (and what is with the 3 piece suits? He just looks like an old fatty!). On the other hand, she is the one that the photogs are after…not him.
I do find it heartbreaking to see her walking alone in places like Paris looking so sad and alone.
It’s my belief that she is a very good mother. I think Suri is adorable. As for all of that bottle nonsense I keep reading? I have a full grown daughter and she stil had a bottle at 2 yrs. old. 3 different children doctors told me that if a child needs if for security or whatever, to go ahead and let them have one. That they all develop at different stages. My daughter’s teeth turned out perfectly and she is an amazing and accomplished young woman.
In closing, I have to wonder where all of this vitrol and hatred comes from as I read your comments.
well….she’s clearly had her lips and nose done…which is ridiculous…..she really is one of the flawless natural beauties in my opinion
I could care less about her lonliness and unhappiness. She volunteered for the life with Cruise. Did she honestly believe Cruise was in love with her from one interview? If she did, then nothing must working between the ears. She is using Cruise just as much as he is using her. She wanted the fame and money without the work.
I hate the way she has used Suri. The paps. are not there to photograph KH but Suri and KH knows it. She also is probably aware that the reason people care what she wears is because of Cruise and now Suri.
KH thinks nothing of using any kid for her own gain. She did it with Connor and Bella in the beginning and is now doing it with Suri.
Most celebs keep their kids away from the press and not parade them around every chance they get, especially when there is a movie to promote or Scientology beliefs, because they want to protect their kids from the silliness of the photographers and have a somewhat normal life.
The other thing I hate is what has KH done with her new fame and money other than shop and exploit her kid. It has certainly not been to get any decent acting roles or to help others.
As for the mother thing, she has how many nannies, hairdressers, etc to make her life easy. She gets tired/bored, she can walk away from Suri. Now how many REAL MOTHERS who are probably better than her in that department, can’t do that? How many stay because they have to when KH will just walk away because she is bored/tired? Does that make her a good mother because she photographed walking in stillettos and designer clothes with the kid in Paris or Berlin?
I could care less about the bottle/blanket thing.
