It’s Official – Katie Holmes is Headed to Broadway!

It is definitely true now! Katie Holmes IS headed to Broadway and will star in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons sometime this fall. Producer Eric Falkenstein has confirmed it today.
Katie will be hitting the Broadway stage with John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. Sounds like a good lineup to me! This will be Katie’s Broadway debut and I am sure she has a lot of excited fans. Dates for the opening night and show times have not been set yet, but as soon as I find out, I’ll let you know.

Why’s he so upset? He has put his life out there for public consumption. Everyone’s already aware of Katie’s shopping obsession. Is anyone going to bat an eye at the fact that she spends $350k for a two-year old’s clothing? Wow, he really is in damage control now. Maybe he woke up.
I agree Tyler. Personally I think all of the clothes that suri wears are DARLING. And personally I do not care what kind of money was spent on them.
All stars spend WAY more money on their kids clothes then I do on my own. That is part of life.
I do disagree with the lawsuit that tc has filed against the store. I really doubt that ANY store that is making THAT kind of money off of someone would blab it to the media. That would be biting the hand that feeds them.
I do not believe this story on the lawsuit because it comes from TMZ.com. that site is no better than Star or the National Enquirer. All I got to say is this story is laughable to me. This website would make up any story to make Tom look to the the public that he is crazy.
Tom and the CoS are well known for their litigous nature. In this case, celebs know that info may be ‘leaked’ out.. Almost everything we read everywhere is ‘put out there’ by somebody. To sue someone is ludricrous, in my view. We all have eyes and can see for ourselves that this precious little girl is dressed in high-end ‘couture’ or designer clothes. Is that figure shocking anyone here?? It isn’t surprising to me. Now do I think my little 3 year old granddaughter is just as darling in her little Target dresses and outfits? YOU BET LOL
what the heck do they care that this info leaked out….. they have had more awful allegations lodged at them over the past few months that to sue over how much they spent on clothing seems odd to me……would it not make more sense to sue over heavier issues such as suri is the spawn of LRHubbard???

They are not suing……….It’s a cease and desist order which is a request to halt an activity.
What Petit Tresor has done is to invite shows like Access Hollywood in and go around the store and point out everything that Tom and Katie have bought including the things purchased by others for them.
Access Hollywood did quite a few segments on that with the owners of the store speaking with show and showing the items and quoting the prices.
As hurtful as the comment was about Suri……….They didn’t have a case, it was not one

That’s wrong of the store. One would think an exclusive store like that would have better sense. Wow, the Cruises have some serious fans on this site.

Yes Mary it was a cease and desist order. This is what was said:
According to the cease and desist letter sent by Cruise’s law firm, the store leaked false info that Suri’s parents dropped a cool $350 – $400K on the tot’s wardrobe over the last two years. Tom and Katie’s mouthpieces claim the store violated their clients’ right of privacy.

What does not make any sense is they say the store leaked false info and then they say it was a violation of their right to privacy.
If it was false info then their privacy was not breached.
Besides it is a public store and the price tags are made public. tc lets his kid be seen in public wearing the clothes that he bought at the public store.
Where is it that someone else has taken away HIS right to privacy?
When I see someone walk out of Taco Bell with a taco, I know they paid 99 cents for it. Even IF the cashier tells me, it is still public NOT private info.

It one thing to say yes of course Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have shopped here but that is not the limit to what Petit Tresor did.
I believe they spent the money because Katie’s a shopping addict, but if the store went on TV and talked about it, it was wrong. When you think about it rationally though, spending that kind of $ on clothes a child wears for a month or so is obscene. They could do so much good with that money. I know, I know, it’s there $ to do as they wish. True.
First of all, these stars shop in these exclusive places to be seen and to spend top dollar. What is the big deal here about this info coming out. We have eyes, don’t we? and can tell that Suri is not dressed in the KMart special. If they did nothing, it would be a story for a day. Filing a stupid lawsuit which is what Tommyboy keeps lawyers on retainer for makes the story stick around for a while…hmm which might be what he wants.. free publicity
As far as I know there is no video in existence showing Tom and Katie going into Petit Tresor.
Petit Tresor made that information public and they did it by speaking to shows like Access Hollywood and stating specifically what they bought and what was gifted to them…………..Not right by any means when the company is on record as saying that they protect the privacy of their clients.
Instead of suing they should stop going there!!! Is that the only exclusive kids’ store around? CM, I’m inclined to agree with you that TC did it for the publicity.
hey you know what…I could be totally wrong but wasn’t Katie photographed coming out of Tresor when she purchased JLo’s twins a I’m the big brother/sister t-shirts? I cannot recall if she was actually photographed or if it was just written about but she indeed bought the twins shirts, now whether or not it was at Tresor I am not entirely certain.
i think katie is suitedfor a dramatic role loved abandon the gift @pieces of april she has been through a lot these last 3yrs terrible things have been said @written besides feeling for her i also felt for her mum@dad seeing her go through all that ithink broadway might give her a much needed boost good luck katie
Tyler, TK didn’t sue anyone!!! They’ve just sent a letter of warning to Petit Tresor, so they can stop talking about them to the media. Afterall Petit Tresor is on record as saying they protect the privacy of their clients and they’re only asking them to follow their own rules.
I don’t remember any pictures of Katie coming out of petit Tresor. I would prefer if TC and Katie simply stopped shopping there but I am sure that would not stop the store from using their names whenever it can drop them. They have done those segments on E, access hollywood and extra. It is wrong and unethical because they are using it to market themselves. I am sure TK will not be shopping there anytime soon after this. But there friends may buy things for them from there and unless a warning is sent to them, they will not stop.
Jenna, suing losers like Morton does not help. It just gives them publicity and notoriety. How many times has enquirer been sued? It doesn’t help. Remember morton did not say Suri was a rosemary baby, but compared her to one. Because no one sued him, the book is over and forgotten.
In this case, the situation would have carried on were they not warned. Notice that no one is suing any body.
Katie should just try to say away from the place. It’s going to be hard, but possible.
IF the “cease and desist” is really true, then I wonder why tc did not file one regarding the cost of Suri’s “birthday” party?
All of the suppliers for that party leaked the amount of money tc paid.

Puck if you notice, the cake people or others are a one off, but with Petit tresor, even if Katie and Tom did not go there, their friends would go there to buyt hings for them, the store would continue leaking this information. They did the right thing.

saw petit tresor showing items katie bought for suri when she was born i think it was the insider katie bought a 1950s inspired high chair it was gorgeous suri s gift list a cute stuffed elephant a moses basket et same happened at the time of their wedding they showed a little satin dress that suri was going to wear at her parents wedding

looika all the celeb shows went into petit tresor store and showed items that katie supposedly bought. they also went into the lingerie shop and showed everybody what kh bought for herself @tc ….this was when all the celeb shows were covering their wedding..
