Is Katie Holmes Losing Weight at an Unhealthy Rate?

I can totally understand wanted to lose weight in a short amount of time to fit into a sexy wedding dress.  I did Slim Fast before my wedding and lost 5 pounds in three weeks.  I know it’s not healthy to lose weight quickly, but a girls gotta do what a girl has to do!  I spent some serious money on my dress and I sure as heck planned on wearing it on my big day!

Anyway, back to TomKat.  Apparently she’s lost 28 pounds since Suri Cruise was born just 8 weeks ago.

According to the Daily Star out of Britain, a friend of Holmes says, "Katie has embarked on a hardcore fitness regime and does 200 sit-ups a day, combined with two hours of cardio work before pilates."

"She has eaten healthily since giving birth, but now her friends are worried she has dropped two dress sizes in too short a period of time." Via Post Chronicle

I would say that we shouldn’t worry that with her kind of money she probably has doctors and nutritionists looking after her, but I’m not sure if Scientology would agree with that.  I hope for Katie’s sake someone is making sure she’s staying healthy!

    I lost 60 pounds of baby weight in 8 weeks. I didn’t do anything special, didn’t diet or exercise, just breast fed and ate normally, maybe a bit more than usual.

    It can be done, it’s not that hard for everyone.

    Shell: Just stop for a second and think of your statement. 60 pounds, 8 weeks that is 56 days. So you lost over a pound a day doing nothing. Let me tell you that even if you did something, anything, it is not possible. Check your math again.

    5 pound in three weeks is not fast… it’s healthy.
