I love seeing pictures of Nicole Kidman these days. She is one of the most gorgeous pregnant ladies I have ever seen.

This picture is from the UNIFEM Goodwill Ambassador’s “Say No to Violence Against Women” Campaign at the United Nations in New York. Nicole took part in the event.

I guess because she is still connected to TC with children so some are interested in her still. I think she looks absolutely beautiful here. Almost glowing. I can’t recall Katie doing anything on world-wide scale like an Ambassador. Thanks for the post. Saw these pictures earlier and thought how classy she looked.

Katie did do a violence against women thing last year with Alicia keys. I think this site has pictures. Nicole is glowing, classy as usual. Of course I prefer her natural. I wonder why people hate aging gracefully. I heard that she had stopped using botox, which am glad she did. I wish I had her body at six months pregnant. She is hardly showing. Some of us a beach whales at that stage. LOL.

i don’t follow her, but i read on another site that nicole’s a spokesperson for this organization. it’s not a one lunch deal, but an ongoing cause. could be wrong.

Yes she is Tyler. She is a UN goodwill ambassador. Then again, she is 40, Katie is 29. But I give her credit for her effort to make a difference. I am also happy that she is pregnant because she was trying for a while. I wonder what her baby will look like.

Angelina Jolie has been a UN Ambassador for several years and she is in her early thirties.

It is all about priorities and choices in life.

Katie’s priority is being a fashion icon and trend setter. She went to luncheon for violence because Paula Wagner invited her to go.

It’s nice to see Connor and Bella’s mom looking happy. Nicole has been a good philanthropist. She went to a Children’s Hospital in Australia to share for free her new movie and to visit with the sick children in January.

Hopefully Bella and Connor will have permission to see their mom when the baby is born so they can bond with their new sibling. Look forward to the pics on this one. Wonder if Bella and Connor would be included.

Well Tom is not alone, I don’t think much of most of Hollywood. LOL Honestly, I used to be a fan, but I think he has taken a trip lately into the ‘twilight zone’ with some of his over the top behaviors the last 2-3 years. Maybe he is just going thru that middle age crisis most men go thru at his age. Trying to hang onto your youth in Hollywood however, is a full time job for everybody there. The nerves I get on here would not compare, trust me, to the people I would offend over on the PittWatch site. LOL

Nicole is beautiful. I can’t wait to see her baby. I hope its another beautiful addition to the human race. Cause, boy she got some nice genes. I think she is prettier than her husband. He is a stubby little man. But Nicole is nice and tall. and just perfection, except for the bleached hair. I think she shouldn’t retouch her hair so much right now that she is preggo. But then again, It would like gross to have red roots coming out of long platinum hair.

I don’t think he has done much, Its just that the media is so hungry for Cruise news, they will do anything, even if it takes concocting stories, because Cruise news equals ratings and sales. Plus associating him with opposition to ” mind cures” make people think ” Cruise bad , brain drugs, good!”

no one special katie is doing more than that shes a wife and mother and thats one hell of a feat nicole is a trensetter too more than katie so i guess thats wrong you dont know what katie is doing some people do charity behind closed doors not to show off and if nicole wanted to be near her “kids” she would visit them she could if she pushed the issure she has half custody but i think she only wants them now to show what a family person she is its toooooooooooo late for that.

Fair Game really seems to have worked on Nicole. Everyone believes she is the ‘terrible’ mom who never bothers to see her children. Since she is a rather private person, we don’t really know if she perhaps spends time with them OUT of the public eye or if she is, as some sources indicate, reduced to only being allowed to talk with them online occasionally. I would say we are not privvy to the truth of that whole situation.

tyler sorry but kids belong with thier father just as much we know they have joint custody because they both said so im a mother and divorced we share custody and no matter what i would move anything to have my kids i guess everybody dont feel that way i know im hard on that but people make excuses and their is none

i agree with you on that. she should be near her kids. as a mother, she should have fought for custody. i’m not saying they don’t need their father. of course they do, but in custody cases courts usually have kids live with their mother for obvious reasons. i only meant if i were her i would have fought for custody. at the very least, i would have moved next door LOL

Ok I got to say this. I tried not to. But in these pics of Nicole, I notice she is touching her tummy. I don’t believe there is one pic of Katie doing that. If there is, please show me. Because I did that thru 2 pregnancies and everyone I have ever known who has been pregnant almost subconsciously does it. Just saying. Not a conspiracy theory like was she pregnant, etc. Suri looks just like her. If anyone can find a picture, please bring it because I really want to know. Has been bugging me since I saw these pictures of Nicole.

I would give many links to pictures of Katie holding her stomach when she was pregnant, but first, I think the whole desire to see and build conspiracies with all due respect it is childish and pointless. If you don’t believe Tom is Suri’s father (because that is where that road leads), am afraid seeing Katie holding her stomach is not going to change your mind. Second she had a big enough tummy not to need to hold it for people to see it unlike Nicole. Thirdly I don’t care that much. Fourthly, if you ever wore a fake stomach strapped on , you will realise that you hold it more often than a real one.

Barbra like you say, he abandones her. From the looks of things, he moved on, she moved on. Besides the truth be told, she would not be as famous as she is if it was not for her first marriage. She still holds Tom in high esteem. Her new husband may not be as handsome or charming as TC but he seems a genuinely nice man with his share of problems that he is trying to over come. Tyler: There is something about her that scares me. She looks creepy to me. But she has never appealed to me, so I am clearly not an objective party.
The self centered thing comes from I struggle with the lack of time she spends with B and C. I have heard it all before, and maybe we dont know when she is with them, but even in hollywood terms of the known and unknown, it seems very sparse. I know Tom always seems quite supportive of her though, but that is because he is so wonderful;) See how objective I can be..lol

That was the quote. I would say there are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, TC is a paparazzi magnet so it’s harder for him to do stuff out of the spotlight. Secondly, she spends a lot of time with the kids in Australia, where the papps aren’t as aggressive (well, they’re comparatively nonexistent).

I agree with Doug though. We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. Both TC and NK travel a lot, so we don’t know how much time either of them spends in LA with the kids, or with the kids in places other than LA. I don’t think we should make judgements about her parenting.

Lauren, off your high horse about AJ. She was only brought up as a passing comment in reference to KH, so it would seem out of place to go to PittWatch and make that comment there.

Bumble, a passing comment on two threads? Besides, I could go there and compare her to Newman who has given over $500 million, $200 last year and does it quitely and does not ask for adoration. Mia Farrow qith 13 kids, yet she does not sell their pictures to ‘give’ to charity. (read clean her image). Don’t even start me on those two.

Is it me or most non-fans are Brangelina fans? I have noticed this on several sites. They may think it is OK to harrass TC and his family, yet come out clawing when anything is said about thier saintly idols. Well rest easy, I am not about to spend my free time running from site to site attacking them. When I can’t stand a celeb, I keep away from them. Notice I only comment when they are brought up. If you don’t want simple truths about them, then kindly don’t bring them up.

Lauren: For the record , I am not a Brangelina fan. I find it an interesting comparison between these two couples. Usually there are pics of Katie shopping right next to pics of AJ or BP doing some kind of charity of event.

Personally, I think all of Hollywood is way overpaid and way over worshipped. They, as a group, tend to be the worst in society. I also hate to be told how I should worship Katie and other Hollywood moms or told they are ‘great moms’ or ‘mom of the year’ for DOING WHAT A MOM NORMALLY DOES!! I guess I should worship them because they pose for the cameras in their designer duds.

I also hate being told how they are just like you and me, when THEY ARE NOT!! I mean for crying out loud, Katie’s closet is the size of most of our homes and she is normal like you and me–come off it!

In fact, I stated earlier that having visited Pittwatch, I couldn’t begin to post over there because as angry as all those people seem-personal attacks on each other while defending brangelina for this or that–I would get tossed out. most of them are self-centered. yes, paul newman is an exception, but he never did it for the celebrity aspect, and that is obvious, because he has stayed out of the spotlight. one poster says she never heard of him, so i think that says alot about his values for privacy given that he’s a legend in hollywood. of course, it helps that he’s been married to the same woman since he was young (boring by Hollywood standards), and doesn’t preen for the cameras like some (i won’t mention names, but by now i probably don’t have to LOL).

Well Tyler, it might also speak to her age.. I sort of think that some of the die hard fans here are in maybe the 20’s-30’s? They still want to see him as the larger than life hero type person he depicts in most of his movies. Nothing wrong with that-just that it isn’t REAL. and no one can live up to that image in real life.

I have been in showbiz for years and in my experience there are stars who give for philanthropist reasons and those who give for their image. It is the first PR shot and the cheapest if you ask me. Howevever if some one is helped out there, and a child gets out of poverty, then it is well worth it no matter the intention of the giver.

Katie maybe more famous than she would have been if she were not married to TC but atleast her career was some where compared to Nicole when TC married her. And they were only three years apart when they were first linked to TC.

Concerned mom, for once we agree, I cannot abide by any Brangelina site. For one, I never make it a habit of visiting sites of stars I don’t like but most importantly, those are some ferocious fans. I met them on justjared and a couple of other sites, they are too much. I doubt any one likes Brangelina more after encountering them.

Nicole was a star in Australia and was chosen to star opp Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder. My understanding was that this was a successful film? Yes, they got together while shooting this film, but she probably would have made her name in hollywood anyway cause the film was a hit.

BTW I’m not a Nicole fan. I’m not a TomKat fan. I’m not a non-fan either. I am actually ambivalent about most stars, but I do like these gossip sites.

Nicole Kidman was a well known star in Australia. She was taking a chance doing a movie in the USA. It was tom that made the first move on her. She backed away from his advances because he was married at the time.
Tom then ended his marriage and pursued NK. He was TOTALLY smitten with her. He saw that she had really good qualities, as a person and as an actress. That is why his marriage to her lasted so long.
But then for whatever reason that only HE knows, he ended their marriage when he found out that she was carrying his child.
If you think about it, theirs is a tragic love story.

I could be wrong, but I believe NK was already famous in Australia, her home country. She moved here as unknown. Did she get lucky? Absolutely. Hollywood fame is more about luck than anything else. Did Katie get lucky? Absolutely. However, NK managed to show a more grounded persona. Katie gave the appearance of a golddigger. Not saying she is. She’s probably a very honest person but since she’s a shopaholic, she may have given people the wrong impression. On the other hand, if Tom hadn’t felt the need to jump on that couch, they might have gone about their business without anyone noticing. Honestly, I believe TC went through a mid-life crisis. That was at theroot of all the hoopla.

Thanks April. I am also a fan of Katie’s. My daughter and I always watched DC together and her character tied the whole show together. She did make a lot of money on that show, I imagine. And she had some great movies going on before Tom Cruise. Quite a promising career I thought. In fact, while she was on that show, she was so cute and charming in interviews–look them up on youtube. After TC, her interviews have been sort of strange in my view. In a couple of interviews like for W-she had some kind of scien. minder or something with her that apparently ‘helped’ her answer some of the questions. It didn’t seem to matter what the question, the answer was generally how amazing Tom was, how lucky she was and how he made her life. FAR FAR different then the girl that starred in a hit show and had star power on her own and was sort of like the girl next door that she played on tv.

And about Nicole Kidman. She was an up and coming star in Australia before TC and I believe she did that movie, “Dead Calm” before she did Days of Thunder with TC. That is one of very few scary movies that are on my fave list So she was on the ‘map’ so to speak in Hollywood before TC. AFTER TC, wow. she has had quite a wonderful career altho there have been hits and misses along the way like with anyone, she is one of the most bankable women in Hollywood. Was Eyes Wide Shut the last movie they did before splitting up? That was almost a career breaker for them both.
What an awful movie and bad choice to spend what a year or more of their lives on!!

I think the jury us still out on just how bankable NK is………………..Oscar aside, she has had a string of box office duds.
Maybe the film Australia will reverse that trend.

PuckHappy I do think NK was either engaged or in a serious relationship when she and Tom hooked up. Tom and Mimi were living apart at the time and as Mimi said their marriage was over, there was no saving it.

“oscar aside, she has had a string of box office duds” — are oscar worthy films always box office hits? nk has always had some independent films on her repertoire. she’s versatile, proving her comic talents in to die for among others, stage and music talents in moulin rouge, dramatic talents…………

i also observe that while nk has had some ‘duds’ at the box office, i don’t think she’s ever gotten a single review as bad as the ones kh has received for mm.. maybe it’s all just the ‘haters’ but i do think those critics are doing a job.

You might be right Mary. Not a fan nor a ‘non’ fan just don’t keep up with her ups and downs. With all the movies she has made, she is certainly extremely rich in her own right–Didn’t she just spend around $8 million dollars on a manse sort of close to her best friend Naomi Watts-is it?? Sort of funny when $8 mill looks like a reasonable amount compared to say $35 milll for a place to live. You can only be in one place at a time no matter how big it is, but then TC has practically his entire fam living under his roof.

Australia re-hashes the lives of their stars to death (because there are few to have made it big in the US). I’ve never heard that NK was in a relationship before she dated Tom Cruise, and I’m guessing it would have been an Aussie bloke cause that’s where she lived until filming Days of Thunder. Certainly no skeleton has come out of her closet in the local media with regards to previous relationships.

She’s made some terrible films - The Others, Practical Magic etc. But I’d say she IS bankable - she’s made six films where she’s gotten paid $15million or more, and six where she’s gotten paid between $5million and $10million. To me that means that directors, producers etc have faith in her and that she’s bankable.

Mary, the quote shouldn’t be ready too literally. If someone you trusted asked you to do something, you would still want to know what it was you would be doing.

I haven’t heard of that before. Although I think that is probably why they both agreed to do Eyes Wide Shut-was that the name of that movie? Wasn’t Roman Polanski the director? In my view that was a terrible movie and they both invested so much of their lives in it-over a year or so I think. And Roman Polanski is the guy accused of raping a young girl-and he left the country to avoid jail, correct? She is grown now but has never seen justice served with that coward doing his time. If I recall correctly, he has already been found guilty so if he sets foot back in the US, he goes straight to jail. Just like they sign on to a particular director-I signed off on seeing this movie for the same reason- which apparently so did a lot of other people. Surprising situation really, because he always had my sympathy before this all happened because of his wife Sharon Tate’s murder.

The director of Eyes Wide Shut was Stanley Kubrick which is a movie that on first viewing I did not particularly care for…………I still don’t particularly care for it.

Kubrick was a legendary director and I could understand the appeal of wanting to work with him but he seemed so demanding and relentless in directing both Tom and Nicole, I wonder if in the end it was worth it.

Nicole is a beautiful ,but lately she looks fake and most of her pictures are from the moviesets or from photossets. Dont see really of her realself day picture. Maybe she dont like it cos she not beautiful as her photoshot with a lot of make up and hair do?.. She is weird!

I adore Mr.and Mrs. Urban…..!!!!!……They have alot of pressure on them…they can’t even have a private life.It is a special time for them too…having their 1st baby.Its a private time.Everyone needs to respect that!!!…How would you have felt at your time? NK is actually human, has a thinking womans opinion and is ALLOWED to think for herslf, without an E Meter, as compared to TOMCAT, they are so transparent. They eat at Cut with people they are trying to influence “religiously’ and they shop, and have whatever they call life at the Clebrity Center and their wired for evasdropping mansion. I grew up in Toledo and several of my friends know Katies family well. They are not happy that this is what Katie has become. Would you be happy if your daughter married into a cult and signed away her rights as part of a marriage?
As for Nicole, I am sure Tom keeps the kids from her- shes Catholic again, her father is a psychologist and she thinks for herself.

And whoever was talking about her dry hair and skin, get a life and what do you look like? Super model or super jealous? Most women in America don’t look so good in their 20’s let alone in their 40’s even if she does use botox, atleast she isn’t loafing about in sweats, eating fast food and wondering why they feel so awful about themselves!!!!
