George Clooney Offers Advice to Tom Cruise
The oh so sexy George Clooney has decided to give Tom Cruise some unsolicited advice on how to clean up his image. Specifically how to make people think he’s less crazy. So what does the once fake ER doctor have to say? Tom should make fun of himself.
Here’s what he said to Time about Cruise:
"I talked to him the other day, and he’s a good egg. There’s nothing self-serving about what he’s saying. He has to turn it into a way to make fun of himself." Source
Great advice George! Do you guys think it would work?

I think Cruise has passed the point of no return. I think there are actors that have turned it around (gotten off the drugs and alcohol) but here we are not talking about someone that is trying to change your faith, your eternal destination. That is what he is selling and America is not buying it.
Celebrities need to remember they are hired to ENTERTAIN audiences NOT reform their beliefs.

I could NEVER even consider becoming a Scientologist because it goes against my Christian beliefs. I told buy this “you can be a Catholic and a Scientologist.” That is a blatent lie and only infuriates people that know the truth. That’s the way to lure you in to this cult.

When Cruise makes these outlandish remarks “when you see someone in trouble you know you have to help them, etc” that is copied from the good samaritan in the Bible. This Scientology cult has copied things from Christianity, Islam, and Judism. That is what infuriates a lot of people.

I seriously doubt TC is worried one lick about his image/reputation/career, etc… People like that are so dogmatic that they don’t care what anyone else thinks or says. Watching that Scientology video of him makes you realize what a stark raving lunatic he is. He is rambling on and on, making no sense whatsoever. He sounds like the mentally ill person that he is. I can’t begin to imagine the sheer h e l l Katie lives in being married to that controlling tyrant. Does he really think it’s up to him and “them” to save the world? Please. What a meglomaniac. And speaking of cookey Scientologists, Travolta looked awful at the Oscars– fat and balding.

Why would George bring up and defend Tom Cruise in an interview? Although his calling Tom a good “egg” was pretty funny. Like Tom could turn this around by making fun of himself!!!- His massive ego wouldn’t allow that! Maybe George will loan Tom his Batman suit with the nipples to prance around in…

Religion is based upon the belief that a higher entity created the universe and all in it. A person who creates a science fiction novel, based upon beliefs he invented in his mind, in order to get-rich-quick, is not a religion. People who follow it are either mentally or emotionally deranged, weak-willed, lacking self-worth and need psychological help. If this definition doesn’t describe any of you, then you don’t need to gravitate towards scientology.

You know when George Clooney is commenting about someone’s reputation and idiocy, it is really bad and they have fallen hard off the A-List wall.
Carla
Feb 27, 2008 at 8:55 am
The get-rich-quick idea is how this cult has become so weathy. It only preys on the wealthy, or people who can afford to pay a large dividend of their assets, to this cult. Even ROn Hubbard’s son divorced himself from it and his father. Anyone with remote intelligence and common-sense can see through it. Many actors/actresses are delusionally drawn towards it for many reasons: acknowledgement, power, authority, celebtity-status level, and the cult will provide for them whatever it takes, as long as they “give” to this cult. SO, when are the ET’s supposed to come back and destroy earth?

I read that the cult also gives them $$$ for bringing in new members when the new victims go through auditing and then when they reach certain levels.

Imagine that! A religion that pays you a commission for selling your friends to their way of brainwashing. Sounds like a business pyramid to me.

George is absolutely right, but I highly doubt Tom Cruise will follow the unsolicited advice. He strikes me as someone who olds all the answers, and NOBODY is going to tell him what’s what. Also, we are all born with our personalities. Some people have great senses of humor; other people have no sense of humor. TC takes himself so seriously, which is so funny. He’s completely uneducated (according to his own words, barely made it through high school). Can’t wait to see how his children fare being home schooled by his illiterate sister as their teacher. Personally, I think it’s child abuse. Tom Cruise is a simpleton, a simpleton with no sense of humor. I bet he’s a blast to live with. Just watching him is exhausting. He’s so manic. I think some psychotropic medication is in order for that complete psycho.

I had another thought about TC and Scientology. They say he “donates” millions of dollars to Scientology. I don’t believe that for a minute. I believe he is on the receiving end of the $$$ when it comes to Scientology. It makes to sense. Tom pays them millions, and then they turn around and give him EVERYTHING. He’s treated like a God. Scientology is not a religion! It’s a cult/pyramid scheme. The Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, and LRH!

Check out this link. It is a WAKE UP CALL for all celebrities. Michael Jackson was once the biggest entertainer in the business. I’ll never forget the night he won all those Grammy awards and now his beloved home Neverland is in foreclosure. I bet he never thought this was possible but here you have it. When people become ISOLATED that is the beginning of the end of reality.

Elvis Presley had Graceland, the Kennedys have Hynaniss Port, Jackie O had her Manhatten apartment and Martha’s Vineyard, Michael Jackson had Neverland, etc. I think Cruise is trying to also set roots in Beverly Hills but times are changing for him…

ng you are right. mj fell from a very high pedestal. I admit I liked TC and his movies a long time ago. Won’t darken the door of the theater or buy one to see at home now. Personally, I think he is somewhat either bipolar or manic or maybe add? needs medication to bring him down to a normal level. And I don’t believe for a minute that the people of COS don’t use drugs. LRH himself was using some very destructive drugs. They may drink all the veggie oil they want, but Katie has sure looked all kinds of spaced out from time to time. Might be the intense programming and mind control but she is far far from the young mostly normal girl/woman who was in Dawson’s Creek.

Not too sure but I think the Christian Scientist believes that we don’t need doctors prayer and faith heal everything??? I could be wrong here. Scientology is a man made religion made up by a science fiction writer who said that the easiest way to get rich would be to invent a religion.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Suri is staying with Cruise when Katie is “released” from the COS.
Everything about Suri’s upbringing is unique from the rest of the kids (Isabella and Connor and his sister’s kids) because she is being groomed to have a an important position in the entertainment industry (either as aa artist or producer) and the Church of Scienotlogy. My heart goes out to this little girl. She did not pick her parents, she was born into this.
They say your characteristics are formed the first 6 years of a person’s life. She is 2 or almost 2 and so these are the years. Good luck to Suri.

“Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are set to throw a lavish $200,000 ‘welcome to the world’ party for Jennifer Lopez’s newborn fraternal twins.” If this is true, what frauds. I thought they were of the belief that babies should be hidden from EVERYBODY for six months before being seen. I have a feeling the REAL Suri is LRH’s seed hidden in a closet somewhere and it took those two FREAKS to find a baby that sort of resembled the two of them and then adopted the baby we see as Suri today.

Feb 28, 2008 at 7:37 am
New York — I agree. I don’t believe Suri is Katie’s or Tom’s. I believe Katie wore a fake belly the whole “pregnancy”. Sure she gained weight, but she did it on purpose in order to look pg. They probably got Suri from some teenager in the cult. That’s probably why no one has seen a credible birth certificate as well.

all religion is man made! People choose to believe because it helps them sleep better at night! If thats what they want to believe, that’s their deal!
Perhaps no one has seen personal information because it is that-PERSONAL! If I had a bunch of strangers interested in the birth of my child, I too would do what I could to conceal it! Its really none of our business!

NY/Leo: Suri looks too much like Katie!! I think of all the theories, that one is the best.
Here are some theories: The next one will be L.Ron’s frozen swimmers…hence Katie needing in-vitro to get knocked up again. Maybe she will go for twins like AJ did so she can get more attention. That seems to be the beginning of the new trend. Also with technology today, they can almost guarantee a boy this time. Maybe KH has been preggo in between but they may have aborted because they were girls…They do this quite regularly in China with the one child laws.
But, honestly, as Tara said, is this really our business? The only thing I can say is that I don’t have to live with their decisions and I am grateful for that. I will take my boring life any day.
About the party, from what I hear, Marc Anthony is trying to stay away from the Scientologists since they are trying to convert them. He is not blind to that!! I also doubt with a c-section, JLo will be partying any time in the near future. I can tell you that from experience!!
I think Katie and TC are so desperate to get any PR that they will throw any party, but they were noticeably not at the Oscars, even though the press reports they went to Madonna’s After Oscars Party. There are still no pics of them there and they would have been photographed.

I sort of get what George is saying, but I would not have put that out there if he was trying to be helpful…
Tom is a very likable person, especially in person. I have met him a few times and he is so nice you almost feel bad for the bad press. I said almost…. I think he makes a lot of stupid mistakes. And these “yes” people that are all around. Half of them are so out for their piece of Tom, they do not help either. I mean look at his “friends” at their Italy wedding….
Those are what you call friends?? I dont think so….it is sad. But he chooses to throw himself out in the limelight more than not, so its hard to feel bad for him, but he obvioulsy struggles with demons, and for that I do feel bad for him.
I believe that is why he is so wrapped up in that Scient. crap! I hate that place. He feels he needs it now, when in reality they need him a lot more.

Zoe: I believe what you say regarding everyone being out for a piece of Tom (including his “wives”). I can sympathize totally. It has to be difficult not knowing who to trust. The problem I have with Tom Cruise is when he makes obnoxious statements about things that he knows little if anything about and tries to convince the rest of the world that he and his cult are the authority on everything. If he truly believes this, I certainly feel sorry for him because he had everything going for him and now he is so disillusioned. Tom has never given HIMSELF credit for his achievements, but gives the credit to the cult. Unbelievably sad!

To clarify the meaning of “wives” in the above post, I don’t mean Nicole or Mimi. I think most aspiring actresses would have dated and married TC just for their careers.

mama…I don’t think so. JLo’s dad is a $cieno…if she was going to fall for that crap she would have already…a long time ago. I think they’re friends because she’s from Brooklyn and Jlo is from the Bronx. I’m sure Remini has been instructed to TRY the hard sell on JLo, but believe me……JLo doesn’t do anything JLo doesn’t want to do. Neither does her VERY Catholic husband, and if I’m not mistaken he has been very vocal about how they will NEVER become involved.
And, just like Posh…JLo loves her moolah, and she’s not about to part with it
Both of them are extremely smart and savvy….and if you look at the other celeb $cienos they are ALL weak. They have very obvious weaknesses, which is the only type of people they can recruit
