Well there are two different type of visitors here, fans of Tomkat and non-fans and we mostly know each other from previous comments and that is why we come across rude to each other because we’ve history. I honestly prefer it if we spoke to each other better but when some people go out of their way to post links and gossip to smear Tom and Katie name and leave ridiculous comments, we as fans can’t just leave it.
  But if you’re looking for a blog where people are polite to each other then there is the mediablvd forum you can join there, they have rules that everyone follows, its a place for everyone and not just fans.

  I am confused. Does being a fan mean that you believe only the good about an entertainer? I enjoy Mr. Cruise’s work… with a few exceptions. I think Ms. Holmes was a fine actress on her way to a great career. Sadly, I think her decision to begin an affair with Mr. Cruise was, in some ways, career ending, unless you consider a constant tabloid presence a career. These opinions aside… the simple facts of Mr. Cruise’s life are not all good and rosey. Why can’t we, fans, see that he is, in many ways, quite troubled?

  I was new to this site and your explaination of why people are rude to each other falls short. If you prefer that you all spoke to each other more kindly, then set the example. You have not. If someone make what you deem a ridiculous comment then counter it with grace, facts, and calm confidence.

  I briefly worked in the presence of Mr. Cruise and Ms. Kidman a very long time ago. I was an assistant on one of their first films, not to either of them, however. It was a lot of fun, but it was then that I realized the film industry was not for me.

  Thank you for your comment and no we don’t just believe the good about TomKat as fans we know Tom and Katie are not perfect and there are things we don’t like but people like Kitty cat and libr try to make this site about religion and anti-Tomkat with ridiculous conspiracy theory so we stand to correct that. If you like go back to a few previous threads to read comments by Libraeque.

  I personally find it hard to set example with people like Libr and Kitty when they have already set their minds and they only visit this site and other Tomkat site like babyrazzi for one reason only to spread their hates about this couple. I understand people who just come here to read the news and comment on it like yourself and they can be nagative and positive at the same time but with some people I’ll never understand how they can have a love hate relationship with celebrities and cyber-stalk them when they can actually spend their time on something someone they like or worth while.

I never knew Katie that well before Tomkat but to be honest from looking at her movie history at boxofficemojo and the reviews she got for Batman begin I don’t think her career was that great.

  Everyone has different opinion about these people but nobody know them personally and aside from Tom’s religion which some people seem to have problem with I don’t think Cruise is troubled.

  Here is a guy who become famous in his early twenties and he has never been to rehab or assaulted his partners or abandoned his children, if there was a big conspiracy in his life like some people say it would have come out in the last 25 years where he has been in the public eye all those years. And NO to people who say he pays people not to speak because if there was something big he was hiding that person who talks will get lot more many from the media.
  All his 3 ex partners and people who have worked with him have nothing but good things to say about him. So I think he is a good guy who everyone is picking on because he made himself an easily target by making some mistakes and wrong choices, so we’re not all prefect.

  Not everyone who has worked with him has good things to say. Some say nothing at all. Early in Mr. Cruise’s career his acting coach was also an acting professor at the college I attended. This conection is how I was able to become connected to the film on which I worked. Saying someone is professional on set, shows up on time and is polite does not necessarily mean he is a great guy.

  Calling Scientology a religion is up for debate. This debate is in the court system worldwide to this day, with several countries not affording it the tax shelter status of a religion. It is continually challanged in the U.S.

  Tom Cruise does, in fact, have a troubled past. He turned to Scientology to help with his toubles, by his own admission.

  You may choose to overlook peoples “wrong choices”. This quality is a good one. Try to apply it to those you say things on this site of which you do not approve.

  Tom Cruise had made some inflammatory remarks concerning medication. Many people could not live average lives without the help of some of these medications. These comments do not inherantly make him a bad guy. It does however make him judgemental and at the very least, quite rude to Matt Laurer on at least one occasion.

  Mrs. G, Helen has atrocious spelling and grammar skills which I’ve commented on before, because some of the posts are just hard to read. I think she (and others) made it clear that she is a dreamy-eyed fan of TC, and will never believe he’s done anything wrong in his past, or present.
  I too worked in the business and have friends that are still in it (everyone here thinks I’m lying, but I chalk that up to living somewhere VERY far from L.A. All my friends there are involved in entertainment in one way or the other)

  A friend of mine worked at CAA and her boss was on the Cruise legal team. She actually saw the marriage contract between TC & NK. The contract they had is not a new thing in Hollywood, but these people can’t fathom that their idol is anything but a straight, wonderful, perfect man, who has, despite his sterility produced a child.

  They also seem to overlook the fact that after 10 years of marriage and a month after throwing his wife a big party, he walked out on her, after she had just apparently miscarried his first biological child. When confronted with this FACT, they will either go silent, or blame Kidman, saying TC probably got tired of her

  And I could go on about KH being raised Catholic, saying she was going to remain a virgin til marriage and then poof!!!   I went against my statement of not visiting here again. A friend just called to say they saw my comments on the site and read the responses to me. They encouraged me to share my little story…

  I have second hand knowledge of the “contract”. A rumor began on set of the movie I worked of a potential legal partnership between Kidman and Cruise. The stipulations were alleged to be that Ms. Kidman and Mr. Cruise must remain married for at least ten years and they would have to bring at least two children into the relationship. The children did not have to be biological.

  I must admit, I never put much stock in this rumor. But as the years progressed after the film wrapped and was released (1989-1990) the milestones in the Kidman/Cruise relationship were in keeping with the original rumor. When Mr. Cruise filed for divorce almost 10 years to the day after his marriage, I was shocked. It lent credence to the rumor. It is, at the very least an incredible coincedence, and is most probably fueled by at least some truth.

  I am in no way trying to smear anyone. I don’t think marrying to further/or secure your career is any worse than some of the other reasons for marriage. It is sad to bring children into the equation. These kinds of arranged marriages are nothing new in any culture, class, or profession.

  The main reason gossiped about during 1989 for the legal contract between Cruise and Kidman was…
  -Cruise’s alleged affair with a man, who was willing to talk to the press, and the comments by Mimi Rogers that she had divorced him because he was not living up to his “husbandly duties” (Ms. Robers’ words).

  Take it for what it is. Maybe someday there will be a movie about it. Just like all those nasty little rumors nobody wanted to believe about Rock Hudson…

  I appreciate you informing me the “ignoring losers” statement was not ment for me. This fact does not exclude the childish, and rude nature of the statement.   I have been informed by Helen that I am making up the information I shared. She does not believe that I worked on a film set, or that this rumor was going around at that time. I can’t imagine what I would have to gain by making up this sort of a thing. Helen also suggested that I sell the story to a tabloid. I would never attempt do such a thing. Even if I did want to sell the story, I have no proof. As I stated, it was rumor and gossip.
  I am not sure as to why it is suggested that I am someone returning under a different name. This site is a bit crazy. Everything was civilized until I shared something Helen did not like.
  I am just killing time while I home and unable to go to school/work.
  If there is someway I could assure you that this is my first time to the site, I will be happy to comply.

  By the way my friend, who you maintain does not exist is a frequent visitor to the site but he does not write. He is keeping me company via electronics while I am home. I am sorry I did not make that up either.

  What is the root of all this suspicion? Is a loser anyone who says something you do not like? Could you define a loser as it pertains to this site, please? I couldn’t begin to classify any of you as losers as I have not yet met you.

  As I stated in a previous thread we are all a bit of a loser for wasting our time writing here when we could be doing something more enriching. Don’t you all agree? Perhaps, just a little? Couldn’t we all agree on just one little thing before I go back to my real life?

  Yes I was on the film set 18 years ago.

  I am 37 years old, female, married, no children. I am currently residing in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in N.Y. I began my post High School Education at Columbia-Greene Community College in upstate N.Y. At that college I met Paula Adams, a drama professor and ex-acting coach of Mr. Cruise. I worked on the film set when I was 19 and 20 years of age. I received college credit for doing so. I acquired my first degree at SUNY Albany. BA in English Lit. in 1993. I moved to Austin, TX in 1994. I acquired my second degree at the University of Texas at Austin. MA in History. I am currently in a CPA certification program. I have never been to this site before. I am sad that there are so many suspicious people out there. I thought it would be fun to do a bit of blogging while I am laid up with a knee injury, but I guess that was a mistake. I will leave you all to it.

  I do not dislike Mr. Cruise. What gave you that impression? Because I told of my experience? I have not bashed him personally at all. I shared a rumor that was on a movie set many moons ago. It was never in the press, as far as I heard.

  And to explain a visit from a non-fan to this site. If you search “Tom Cruise is Crazy” this site will present itself. That is how my friend originally found this site. He sent me a list of site to keep me occupied for yesterday and today. How do you all find time to do this regularly? Tomorrow it is back to school/work for me.

  Anne, the reason I was taking Mrs. G seriously was indeed because she was criticising Tom, but she seemed to be more intelligent and knowledgeable and even interesting, then it was downhill from there.

  As a fan I never say don’t criticise Tom but at lease have an intelligent discussion and stop with the never ending gossips or hate campaign at a fan and baby site.

  It was my first time to visit PerezHilton, and Pink is the new blog. Those two were my favorites from the list. I must say that the crowd writing here is interesting. You are a bit mean spirited but I suppose it works for you. The bullying is kind of harsh at times. I suppose the anonymity allows for that behavior.

It never occurred to me that someone would do that but they think anyone here who doesn’t like Cruise is one returning person. Well, let me tell you…at my work we have him on our dart board. I work with 25 people and we all think he is a freak. He is a walking comedy. He got braces to fix his teeth? Isn’t Scientology against that sort of thing. Oops… yes they are! They are also against plastic surgery. Maybe that is why Tommy keeps trading in his woman on a younger model.

  Helen,don’tbother, I think we know who this B-man is and we will out her if she is not careful. She has ever made a comment of all her co-workers hating cruise.

  Can you imagine a work place where 25 people are idle enough to dedicate time to hate a star for loving his wife. Of course it is understable if you work in a drug manufucturing factory, a drug store and a drug packaging store. You are scared of losing your jobs aren’t you?

  I work in a bar, hence the dart board. You don’t have to be idle to joke about a star’s crazy life. The dart boards are for the customers. We have never had one complaint. In fact the patrons love it. We have other dart boards with other star’s faces but Cruise is our longest member of the “club”. Angelina is up, so is Michael Richards. It depends on who is in the news of the crazy. Cruise has been up since his Oprah visit. Who said we don’t like him for loving his wife? You guys are totally awesome! Keep the crazy coming! I love that you ubber fans don’t have a sense of humor… it helps.

  What happened to Helen? Is she working out? A bit of cardio never hurt anyone. Just ask Jackie Warner… that chick is hot!

  B-Man I’m actually very thin my mum is on my case telling me to put on weight 24/7 so don’t worry. I’m not even close to being fat but you can tell me what your secrets are for being fat so I can put on extra weight.
