February 17, 2009 by Julie Bonner
Ed Solomon has signed on to pen “The Hardy Men”, a comedy which will focus on the estranged brothers reuniting to solve a mystery. The movie is a comic version of the Hardy Boys line of children’s mystery novels. Both Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise are attached to the Twentieth Century-Fox project with a release in 2010.
Solomon is best known for Men in Black, Charlie’s Angels and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. He will join director Shawn Levy.

Love the hardy boys! I hope ben is not IN the movie…nice guy, Ben S, but I find him hard to look at.
I’ll believe the movie is going forward when I see it. It’s had so many good writers attached to it and no one seems to be able to create a cohesive storyline. We’ll see what happens with the lastest writer….
Sorry….should say LATEST writer…not lastest. LOL!!
