David Beckham Says That Tom Cruise Has Been a Great Friend to Him

David Beckham was on Fox & Friends for a 2 part segment. He talked about his friendship with Tom Cruise and what it’s meant to him.

“I’ve known Tom for about 4 or 5 years and he’s been a great friend to me. He’s looked after me. He’s told me where to go and what to do. He’s been very supportive, not just for me, but to the family as well. It’s always good to find good people and good friends.”

I have always heard Tom’s friends say what a great friend he is and how supportive he is of everyone. It seems that he is also very supportive of Katie Holmes and her career projects.

    I like Beckham. He seems like a nice guy just like Tom Cruise.

    There are new pics of Katie filming a scene (it looks like she’s filming but x17 says otherwise).

    That was nice of David Beckham to say nice things about Tom and Katie. He does seem like a good friend. I think it was said that they met when Tom was in the relationship with Penelope Cruz and over in Madrid, Spain watching David play soccer for Team Madrid. Then when Tom met Katie, he took her over to Madrid, Spain to watch a Team Madrid game.
    I think The Beckham boys look so cute especially when they were shown last year playing with Suri at the soccer game!!!

    Thanks fro the pictures Hana, I think it is part of the scene, not sure though.

    Every one who knows Tom personally has only nice things to say about him. He seems to have many friends and seems a good friend to them. No wonder Redstone missed him and sent out an olive branch.

    Penelope Cruz’ LOVES soccer and her favorite team is Real Madrid. She goes to all the games and has known the Beckhams personally for years. In fact it was Penelope that introduced TC to the Beckhams when she and TC were dating.
    That show that David Beckham is a great guy to remain friends with both Penelope and tc.

    Tom and Penelope Cruz are still friends. She was among the first people to see Suri remember.

    Becks has known Tom a lot longer than that. Tom and he were friends way back in the Nicole days, so I am not sure why he would just say 4-5 years…

    Tom and Beck’s were not friends since the NK days. It has been about four or five years and Tom met Victoria (Posh) first.
    Victoria talked about it in an interview. I’ll check to see if I can find it.

    i think DB is a nice guy,when he was here in australia with his team they had a suite in the best hotel for him, but he chose to stay in the less grand hotel with the rest of his team mates, he scored big points for that, he does come across as down to earth and quite humble,but if anyone lives ‘big’ its certainly him and VB. watching the video, TC can get so excited, i’ve always liked that about him.

    You know Mary, you might be right. I might have that interview wrong. They were friends before Katie so it could be 4-5 years altho I thought I read somewhere that Tom has been a fan for a longer while than that. Sorry I think I got that mixed up.
