Another Great Katie Holmes Picture from InStyle UK

What do you think of Katie Holmes‘ dress? It’s from the April 2008 issue of InStyle UK. It is very couture and she, once again, looks amazing to me. She is so photogenic!

Well, I read the tabloid at when I was checking out at Wal-mart. Yes, the one asking where’s Suri on the cover. forgive me for not remembering the name of the mag.
Anyway, what we said, actually criticized about TC and KH’s parenting philosophy and theri use of the tiny baby girl, seems to me, all ring true.
According the “insider”, Suri freaked out once, by the flash lights and the crowd of paps, and she started ‘blinking her eyes”, then raised one arm to bar her eyes from the lights. At the end, she cried and clung so close to her “mother” all the way back to the hotel.
When KH was in NY to extensively promote MM, Suri never got to bed until midnight. And remember the heartbreaking Manhattan night sighting I mentioned earlier? According to another “insider”, Suri got some very bad cold and it took the baby girl two weeks to recover in LA. I wnder how? For we all know thatt they don’t believe in modern meds, was it possible that Suri had to hold her life and health on Barley water and honey?

My feelings were quite complicated. Part of me sang “I told you so”, part of me felt sorry that the little baby had to take the punishment for her parents’ foolishness.

I hope TC won’t turn her alleged 2-year-old birthday into another big show. Please, let the baby be the baby. No strong woman, no wonderful artist, just a baby.

Ah…………These “insiders” and the tabloids.

On Letterman Katie admitted that Suri goes to bed at 11Pm and sleeps until 9AM, that is 10 hours of sleep. For those who don’t remember Suri and her family spent much of the summer and autumn in Europe. Different time zone entirely.

Also, if you have ever seen the amount of flash bulbs that go off when Tom and family are out and about then you’d understand why anyone around would be shielding their eyes. It’s blinding.

I have yet to see pics of Suri’s first birthday celebration anywhere and i’m sure the same will be true for her second birthday. It will i’m sure be private and suitable for a two year old.

Lastly, i’ve seen pics of Suri with cheerios and other snacks and from reports she is a healthy eater when out dining with her parents.

By the way that mag that asks where is Suri was the same that screamed SPLIT as a cover in 2005.
The tabloids know nothing and thrive on gossip, speculation and innuendo.

I actually love some of the photos but this is old news. Our InStyle US already had all of this. Why are they just getting it in the UK?

Yeah, Suri gets blinded by flashbulbs and Katie and Tom where sunglasses to shield their eyes. Sounds perfectly logical to me.

Poor kid, how sad she was sick! It is no fun with a sick baby.

It happens with many of the foreign magazines. Katie did the interview with InStyle USA.
British InStyle just republished it for their readers.

Oh and Mary. I respectfully disagree. I think Suri and her second birthday bash is going to make a big splash, but TC may well control who gets the pics. I would say maybe People because they are very TomKat friendly. In my opinion though, it will be her second second birthday bash. I’m glad they are keeping her out of the papps madness. And having raised 2 children, such a late schedule is not good for her. Over in Europe is different because restaurants and things happen later there, but eating out at the Cut or wherever and keeping her out late in the evening is not good for her or any child especially with no coat on in that cold NY night air. Not surprised if she did get sick. Hope they learned a bit on that experience.

Actually it’s colder/windier now in NY than it was for the period that Katie was promoting MM.
Also with babies and toddlers it’s never what works for one will work for all.
Children do catch colds, it would be highly unusual if they didn’t.
Suri will be celebrating her second birthday……She’s two.

I think it is unfair to speculate about Suri’s second birthday and then use speculation to criticise. No?

We rarely see Suri when they are home in LA. I noticed that. I love the pictures. Thanks Webmistress for these and for the new site.

The paps are the ones with the flashing lights…too bad they don’t care about anyones comfort or safety.

As for the parenting skills, it is always easier to point and condemn someone else.

Yeah, I saw the pictures where they compared it to a clown suit. There was some resemblance. :) It’s not something I would wear, but hey, no one has asked me to wear one for a magazine shoot. I’m still waiting for my big call. lol!
