  Come on, girls! Let Baby Suri experience nature, barefeet and all. Take it from someone who grew up running around barefoot on a farm, it’s fun. We coddle our kids too much these days instead of letting them experience “stuff.” They make a beautiful family and I wish them the best … I simply wouldn’t want to live a ‘fishbowl life’ but hopefully they can handle it with grace!

  lazily and arrogantly relying on your old and aging fan base isn’t ‘coming out on top’…to be considered to be doing that, a celebrity has to continually build upon and add to, the fan base they have…

  tom cruise is considered a cult-following joke, someone their parents USED to like, to the current generation of celebrity fans

  (and it is those whom the celebs depend upon to earn their living, give them credibility in their industry amoungst their peers and also feed their vanity and ego’s)

  I have to agree. He lost his biggest fan base, women, when he bashed Brooke Shields. And I think another large part of his fan base finds it creepy and gross that he’s 16 years older than her, and she’s only 14 years older than Bella.

  Most of his fans seem to be very young foriegners. I don’t think he has much of a fan base in the U.S. anymore….going the way of David hasselhoff

  The age thing….well, there are lots of actors who are dating women who are a lot older than 16 yrs, to name a few, Harrison ford, Michael Douglas, Demi Moore, Brouce Willis, and even Brad piss is 12 yrs older than his gf and many more.

  And amy, you’ll eat your words in November when Tom’s movie comes out. And feel free to go and check his Box office record and compare it to the actor who you consider are big now. No one to compare.

  i have no need, want or desire to compare ANYONES box office records, i never have and i never will…i don’t know why you keep on going on about that issue with me…

  you are under the false impression that i idolise the pitt(or piss as you prefer to write)jolies…

  not me - sorry…the only time i have mentioned anything like that was when the forbes list recently came out, and after the big heated debate about it earlier this year,

  i thought it would be interesting to see if posters would change their opinions on that list now that tom had dropped so many positions, ALTHOUGH i did state at the time, i don’t pay any attention to lists like that myself…

  as for tom’s november movie…well, i am sure there will be a ton of staged photo ops, gee,

  perhaps even a couple of fake ‘tom cruise came to the rescue’ stories, millions spent on hype and the finale of the ‘tom cruise talking to fan’s friends on their mobile’ yet again….

  and THEN once that is over, yeah, we will all see won’t we,

  i am not saying that tom doesn’t still have a certain ‘pulling power’ with audiences,

  what i AM saying is that it has severely plummeted in the past years, and i really doubt he will EVER regain his popularity to what it once was in his hey day, and i just can’t see him acquiring any NEW fans…the best he can hope for is that he can manage to keep hold of the diehard, thirty to forty year olds who have stuck by him throughout all the rumours, marriage break ups, sacking, public backlash etc…

  i don’t need to spend ANY time ‘trying to convince myself’ of anything…i find watching his fake and staged antics hilarious and entertaining…

  Wow, where does all the sarcasm & venom come from towards celebrities? Katy comes from Toledo, just 2 hrs. north of where I live. She happened to go to Hollywood, get a paying job, meet someone she cares about & have a healthy, beautiful child. Sometimes hometown girls do “make good” … any chance we can just be happy for her? If Tom turns out not to be the man of her dreams, it will be sad but it will have been her choice. Will THAT be something to celebrate? Just wondering …

  The country of Germany has banned Tom Cruise from filming in their country, because of Tom’s crazy Scientology beliefs. OMG! Declare Germany the greatest country ever! No to Aliens but YES to Hoff! I must move there.

  Tom and company planned to shoot their WWII drama “Valkyrie” there, but looks like they will have to find another home. The drama focuses on a plan to kill Adolf Hitler. Unfortunately, Tom does not play Adolf.

  A Defense military spokeswhore said, “[Filmmakers] will not be allowed to film at German military sites if Count Stauffenberg is played by Tom Cruise, who has publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult.”

  People are just using the headline “Tom Cruise Barred from Germany” to get attention as with any other Tom cruise news article.

  But the story is totally off track. What happened was ONE Germany local official spoke against allowing Tom Cruise to shoot at a military base. Meanwhile, the directors of that military base say they never received any requests from Cruise or any of those involved with the film to shoot there.

  And personally, it is completely ridiculous to ban ANY film based on one actor religious beliefs even if its not recognized as a religion. AND anti-constitutional, even in Germany.

  There are actually some people in this world who enjoy discussing actors and their families and they wish to do so without reprocussions or negativity from other posters. Hence the reason our site was created.

  Due to the nature of the internet and the people involved most sites have strict policies to protect their members from hateful or vengeful people. TKOnline Forums is not the only site that has application policies.

  At TKOnline we do not tolerate member bashing, nor do we tolerate rudeness. We do not tolerate any bashing of Katie, Tom or their families. We do debate, but it is done so in a friendly way.

  Our members all treat each other as they would like to be treated. With respect!!

  It has nothing to do with worshipping Katie or anything of the sorts. We are a close knit group who enjoy discussing many things and not just The Cruise’s. Although they are the main topic, they are not the only thing we discuss.

  Thank you for your comments, they have been enlightening. I do wish you the best with your frustrations, although I don’t agree that taking them out on strangers is the best way to handle them.
