Dancer, the guy in the purple shirt is Eddie McGuire TV host/presenter in Australia and ex head of Channel 9 TV.(He resigned cos as Chief he reckon he just sat behind his dek and pushed paper and made calls.) So he went back to presenting wich he loves.
There is a lady sitting next to Holmes with dark hair and sunglasses (6th phot from top). This is Gretel Packer, Daughter of the Late Mr Kerry Packer (billionairre and media mogul) and sister of the Groom James Packer.
James is allot taller than Eddi and James is wearing a white Lacoste polo shirt at this beach party.

Other women on the day mingled in thier little “clicky” groups..(Aussie girls for ya) I think they have left Katie out. And I bet you $10 Katie felt hurt. None of the Aussie girlfriends of Erica Baxter made a effort to mingle with Katie. They are either intimidated by her or jealous of Katie’s chic style. The other girls practically ignored her.
…maybe the stilletos with the bathers and perfect poise was a little too much for the down to earth Aussies to bear.

Jennifer thanks fr the details. Katie is the least intimidating person I know and in someother pictures around the internet, she is talking to some of them but I guess in her postion she has to be careful lest she reads in some Australian newspaper the next day that she is pregnant and confirmed to a guest at the party. I think somewhere I saw her talking to Erica. Then again, you could be right, the Australian girls may not want to seem to social climbing but appearing too much around Katie because of her social status as Cruise’s wife.

Yes I’ve seen pictures of her talking with Erica Baxter,Gretel Packer and Erica’s family but not many of the Australian ladies.
I would just liked to have seen her mingle with the other girls more…independant of Tom….

Claim to fame can be anything. It is how you carry yourself, feel about yourself, treat others, and grace. I believe that she has it. I am also sure it has something to do with not obsessing over what people think too.

Most peopleat the party were low-key. In fact it was supose to be a low-key celebration….probaby in reflection of the Late Mr Packer. Most of the Aussie guys wore board shorts (surf shorts) and thongs.
Tom and Katie definitly showed off their HOLLYWOOD STYLE in their choice of beach wear. They looked quite glamorous and definitly have a style of their own. I like it.

It is hard to mingle with total strangers you have met in a day. She did mingle in the video on x17. Suri also got to paly with some ladies. I guess the pictures only captured certain moments. Over all, I love all these Suri pictures. It has to be said that she is the cutest little girl out there and just melts my heart.

The pictures where she is lying on Tom’s chest are precious. She is just a doll and Tom must be in 7th heaven having her.

if you are a confident mature person, then it is EASY to mingle with total strangers you have just met..for a lot of people, that IS life…whether it is at work, your partner’s work functions, children’s school functions, so on and so on, ‘mingling with total strangers’ is something many can master, ESPECIALLY actors, look at nicole kidman, she was NEVER a fish out of water, i am not having a go at katie, it is just that in situations like this, the age and ‘life experiance’ gaps start to become glaringly obvious….i feel sorry for katie, to tell the truth…it must be very very hard for her…
