No the couple is not getting married to a placenta, rather (as the National Ledger notes) they are going to wait untill the baby is born to tie the knot. The couple has said the wedding will be sometime in 2006, but they have no set date yet.

Word is that Tom has spent up to $200k to purchase a sonogram machine so that he can view his and Katie Holmes’ baby before it is born. He has said that he will be donating the machine after the child is born.
